I am a very big Marauders fan (mainly Lupin). My favorite HP books are PoA and HBP. I sort of kind of hate the movies in that they are not up to my standards, but I like them in that they're addictive and quite fun to watch. I don't really ship anyone, but I find it fun to write stories about ships I don't particularly believe in, such as Dr/H. My main unhealthy obsessions other than HP are anything to do with the Phantom of the Opera, Broadway musicals in general, and, um, food. That counts, right? I'm a beta on PI with no current projects, so if you need a beta, I'm here for ya.
My beautiful username banner is by Butterfly Kisses, and here are some other lovely ones for my collection of ship banners (don't ask):

MOMENTS OF BLISS by moonymaniac

Rated: 6th-7th Years •
Summary: Remus Lupin is a man with a tragic past, filled with pain, suffering and sorrow. But it is also a past filled with great adventure, true friendship and…love? Even though the odds were against him, Remus found happiness at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. He had the Marauders, he was a prefect and his transformations were less horrible, thanks to his Animagi friends. What more could a teenage werewolf want? And how long could his happiness last? Remus and the Marauders prove that in the saddest of lives and darkest of times, there can still be moments of bliss.

Remus centric but with a lot of the other Marauders. This story is a romance, but has almost as much general Marauder era background and side story as romance.
Pre-HBP and DH, so some things from DH will be disregarded, as the warning indicates, but some Spoilers will be incorporated.

Lethal Affection by Phoenix5225

Rated: 6th-7th Years •
Summary: It has been said that when a butterfly flaps its wings, the effects are felt on the other side of the earth. And so it is the same with our past. Every memory, every scene we have witnessed, every emotion we have felt, has shaped us into the people we have become. How is it that an event that occurred thirty years ago can affect an action today? How do we begin to understand this phenomenon so that we may alter the paths of our future? And most importantly, how will one man learn to love one woman, when for him, feeling affection for another has led to nothing but death?

Sliding Drawers by Loup_garou

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: It is argued that the most minuscule of occurrences can shape the course of history irrevocably. Butterflies flapping their wings overzealously, missing a train/forcing open the sliding doors of a train and catching it/getting your finger stuck in the sliding doors of a train as you attempt to force them open and having to run alongside it for the duration of the journey as an alternative to having it ripped off…and other such minutiae. Thus it was that, on a cold, wet night seventeen years ago, in a room above the bar at the Hog’s Head Inn, that Severus Snape made his (skid)mark. The History of the Potterverse is now at stake, and it remains for Lily Potter (with a little help from Lupin) to sort it all out. BE YE WARNED - this story contains pants. Underpants. (This story is intended as a bit of light-hearted fun and should be read as such, even if it is rather OOC!) Final chapter is up! Gather round, my children, and witness the astonishing finale!

Too Sweet to Remember by Canadian Confessional

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: Meet James Potter, a clever, somewhat mischievous, popular student at Hogwarts. He takes every situation in stride and has everything under control, except one: Lily Evans, an amazingly beautiful and intelligent individual. He loves her more than anything, but she despises him more than anything, and a not-so-impressive run-in late at night with her leaves James thinking that chasing after Lily might be hopeless. Then, a series of events happen in James' life, which is topped off by an unexpected visitor that makes his sixth year too sweet to remember.

Wolf's Bane by Cherry and Phoenix Feather

Rated: 6th-7th Years •
Summary: All his life, Remus has known one thing: Love is not his friend. Love is the enemy for someone like him, which is why he denies it to himself. However, that denial could prove fatal as he and the woman he loves are sent on a mission that risks everything.

--------------------------------------
A/N: Rated 6th-7th years for later chapters (violence, mostly, but concepts that kids can't comprehend, like noble sacrifice and possibly some sexual content).

A Dusty Old Volume of Inconsequential Verse by Vader

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: Here you will find a jumble messed of ill-conceived poems. Perhaps, and the odds are firmly against it, you may stumble across a small smile, intriquing thought, or unique feeling in here. But, again, it's very unlikely. Verse XI has been validated.

Rated: 6th-7th Years •

What the Papers Say by Catrin

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: We've seen Hagrid's rage, we've felt Harry's betryal, but there were more there that day, when the man face the rat. A muggle's confusion, a mother's pain, they were all there that day, when the man faced the rat

My son, my beautiful son...

Obliviate him…

And do you know what he did then? He laughed. He stood there and laughed.

Moon and Sirius by desertfox

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: ~One Shot~
It was a few days after Christmas; Harry had just left the Number Twelve Grimmauld place and returned to Hogwarts. Sirius found he was once again alone inside the house he dreaded. Staring at a photograph of his best friend’s family, Sirius retold the story of that fateful night when a family was shattered and a legend was born. ____________________________________________________________________________ “Wake up, James, wake up!” He pounded the floor with his fist. “Wake up, damn it! Wake up! This is not funny James. Ok, you got me. Now please, wake up! Wake up! No, wake up damn it. James, wake up! Wake up! Wake up…” ________________________________________________________________________ A story inspired by Forsaken phoenix’s story “When saints die, the world stops spinning”(or is that the other way around?) This is my first Sirius Black fiction, as a matter of fact my first ever fan fiction. I am not a Sirius Black fan (ah stop put the pitch forks and torches down please, I am not finished yet), but I think Sirius is one of the most interesting characters in the book. He was tall dark and handsome (I am a man so it’s a bit creepy to say that I know) and at the same time mysterious. He was a very straightforward man; when he was mad, he could be as scary as a bear; when he was sad, he could cry like a child. And that is what makes him interesting to write about. As for the title “Moon and Sirius”, part of the reason I call it that is because I have no other ideas. I am never good with titles. The Sirius in the title refers to both Sirius black and the star Sirius. Sirius the star is one of the brightest stars invisible on earth. It is one of the few stars that could be seen during a moon night.
Ok enough chitchat, I give you “Moon and Sirius”
