"The Compton Diary" was my first fic - it sort of came up out of the blue, but I'm quite proud of it. After that came "Green," and then "Red," and "Blue", which I'm currently working on. My ambition is to make a Hogwarts Colours Quartet - "Red," "Green," and then Yellow and Blue as well, each a companion piece of the next. The beginning of "Blue" is now up...

I also love movies (the fics "Red" and "Green" were originally inspired by the French "Trois Couleurs" trilogy), drawing, music and theatre, and listening to how people converse, all of which I think tend to influence my fics.

“No matter the time or place, people should never call their child Marie-Antoinette. There is no happiness in this world for a girl called Marie-Antoinette.”

1983. In a world where Voldemort has won the First War, where hope has fled from an Earth moaning under the Dark Lord's iron hand, marriages are broken and others are arranged in order to preserve the sacred purity of blood. James Potter loses his wife; now they have to find another for him.

Symphony for Quartet by Tinn Tam

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary:

Winner of the QuickSilver Quills Award, categ. Best Marauder Era.

What did being a Marauder truly mean?... Let's just say that some tunes cannot be played by a lone musician; and those four's lives were certainly not soloists' scores. In class or in detention, in Quidditch matches or full-moon wanderings, fleeing before monsters or confronting dark wizards, they wrote, measure after measure, their own eight-handed piece.

Messrs Moony, Wormtail, Padfoot and Prongs, are proud to present a Symphony for Quartet.

Between Now and Then by erikthephantom

Rated: 6th-7th Years •
Summary: In this riveting sequel to the "acclaimed" Veiled Revelations, Voldemort has risen to his full strength and is threatening both the wizarding world and the muggle world in an attempt to gain total control. A small group of people - the Order of the Phoenix - are all that stand in his way. Join James Potter, Sirius Black, Remus Lupin, Peter Pettigrew, and Lily Evans as they battle the most evil wizard the world has ever seen. (Reviews are always nice and appreciated - and Erik has rated this story 6th-7th years as a result of her incorrigible pride).

Meant To Be by chloish

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: "What can I say?" James shrugged his shoulders. "We are just obviously,"

"Completely,"

"Irrefutably,"

"Logically,"

"Undeniably,"

"Unfortunately,"

James laughed, "Meant to be."

Lily Evans and James Potter share absolutely nothing in common, not even their feelings for each other. Lily, perceived as a ‘model student,’ detests the handsome, popular, Quidditch star James, who she thinks to be something of a git. James, on the contrary, has been infatuated with Lily for years, and has let her and the whole school know it.

As time progresses into Voldemort’s ‘reign of terror,’ the two have to learn to trust, tolerate, and love each other.

Please note, this story is incomplete, and will likely remain so for a long time. I apologize!

Moon and Sirius by desertfox

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: ~One Shot~
It was a few days after Christmas; Harry had just left the Number Twelve Grimmauld place and returned to Hogwarts. Sirius found he was once again alone inside the house he dreaded. Staring at a photograph of his best friend’s family, Sirius retold the story of that fateful night when a family was shattered and a legend was born. ____________________________________________________________________________ “Wake up, James, wake up!” He pounded the floor with his fist. “Wake up, damn it! Wake up! This is not funny James. Ok, you got me. Now please, wake up! Wake up! No, wake up damn it. James, wake up! Wake up! Wake up…” ________________________________________________________________________ A story inspired by Forsaken phoenix’s story “When saints die, the world stops spinning”(or is that the other way around?) This is my first Sirius Black fiction, as a matter of fact my first ever fan fiction. I am not a Sirius Black fan (ah stop put the pitch forks and torches down please, I am not finished yet), but I think Sirius is one of the most interesting characters in the book. He was tall dark and handsome (I am a man so it’s a bit creepy to say that I know) and at the same time mysterious. He was a very straightforward man; when he was mad, he could be as scary as a bear; when he was sad, he could cry like a child. And that is what makes him interesting to write about. As for the title “Moon and Sirius”, part of the reason I call it that is because I have no other ideas. I am never good with titles. The Sirius in the title refers to both Sirius black and the star Sirius. Sirius the star is one of the brightest stars invisible on earth. It is one of the few stars that could be seen during a moon night.
Ok enough chitchat, I give you “Moon and Sirius”

Unveiled Secrets by forsakenphoenix
