Hello :) I'm currently about to enter my Sophmore year of college. I'm undeclared so far but I'm immensely enjoying Art History and Archaeology classes. I still absolutely adore creative writing and anything that has to do with Harry Potter :D

The Unseemly Proposal by sparx

Summary: The reign of Voldermort comes to an end, and with it ends the prestige and power Lucius Malfoy once had in the Wizarding World. In order to regain the respect of his fellow wizards and to make them believe that he has turned over a new leaf (which he actually hasn't) and has graciously accepted muggles and Mudbloods, Lucius asks Hermione, a Mudblood, to marry his son, Draco, a pure-blood. Obviously, they both refuse, but Lucius isn't going to give up easily. After all, he wants his status back. He still has a few tricks up his sleeve and is determined to play match-maker. What happens next is a series of events that serve only to bring Hermione and Draco closer, both literally and figuratively speaking. But I guess that's the Draco we all know and love, so, no big deal for now.
This was a very interesting installment. It was such a "Awwww!!!" moment, I got warm fuzzies all over!
I like the part with the "symphony of emotions", that was a nice word combination. You create the most beautiful phrases and images, it's like you get lost in the words themselves and have to re-read in order to know what's going on in the actual story! Really and truely amazing.
Now the tricky part. Channing Orman. Unnerving good guy, or twisted fiend? I'm going with the latter, at least for no, because although he's "working for the order" he's very suspicious. He's also unnerving, but, I'm thinking he doesn't do the good guy thing.
Hurry and update as fast as you can. It'll be a sad day when this story is finished...hopefully it'll be a while!! Love it, love it, love it!!

UPDATES!!!! Oh, how I love thy updates!
This was by far, one of the most exciting chapters in this story. I was practically screaming and cheering and booing myself! I was just kinda bopping through the story, and then Channing showed up and I just glared at the screen for a few moments before remebering that Qudditch match was up next. And then, Ron just ticked me off. I'm sorry but he is just...just...well, I don't know what he is exactly, but when I figure it out, I'll let you know.
Anywho, everyone's reaction to Hermione's defence of Draco commenced to anger me, but I loved that she handled it so well. Very awesome of her!
Again how I love your updates! It keeps me sane from all the horrible chemistry homework taking over my life! I sgould be doing that...but, this is so much better!
Anyway, this is just wonderful, I can't say it enough! I can't wait for the next chapter, and, however much he angers me, I can't wait to see more Ron and Hermione confrontation!
*Cheers of Draco is my King start up and continue in my head to keep me amused while I tackle the dreaded chemical formulas in my text book of all that is nasty Chemistry 2* lol!

I was sorta of upset with Hermione's treatment of Draco. I understand why, but I still didn't like it. Especially after all of those suprising events. I would have just let myslef fall into his arms....mmmm...Draco's arms...
Anyhoo, I'm really intrigued as to who the woman is. I was trying to make guesses. At first, I thought it was probably Luna's mother, since they look alike and this woman is obvioulsy very perceptive.
But then I was thinking she could be any woman. Muggle or Witch. I'm thinking more along the lines of a Witch though. I hope we learn more about her. And I pray Draco turns out good in the end!!!! And that Channing turns out unalive...I MEAN reasonably detained...not...
Can't wait for more!!!!
