Hi I'm Anna but lostinside1 is my username for pretty much everything I sign up to as you will see if you take the time to google it. (No, I do't expect you to. lol) I have a thing about using lots of smilies as I am a very sarcastic person and I would hate for people to get the wrong idea about me. I am Wiccan. I don't know what this has to do with this site but I see lots of people puttng their religion on these bios so I figured it wouldn't hurt if I did too. ;) I recently took my GCSEs and am less than impressed with my grade B in english. Both literature and language. On the other hand it just goes to show that the teachers were wrong about which group I belonged in. Several girls in the 4 groups higher than me got a C or below in English which was the average grade for my group. *sighs* Why do I always have issues with my language teachers? English, French and Spanish! Thank goodness I'm dropping spanish next year, hopefully I'll be allowed to take French in 6th form. Oops I'm rambling again! AHHH SPIDER!!!!!fuydfdbh Ewww a huge hairy spider just jumped at me. :S Well it is 02:32 in the morning... Please read my one-shot "Written with Tears". It is the first fanfic I loaded on this site when I gave up trying to make sense out of my first attempt at the actual writing. (I couldn't think of an ideal endng and sine it was a mystery an ending would have been necessay for ultimate closure.) Well Good Night! Sorry!!!!!! Good Morning I'm off to sleep now. I think... *check bedroom for spiders once more...* IT GOT AWAY :'(

im confused. are alice and moira 1st years? and why would they be sharing a dorm with girls in different years?

Author's Response: Yes, Alice and Moria are first years. (Well second years once the summer\'s over.) They\'re sharing a room with the older girls since I\'m guessing that there aren\'t always the same number of girls Sorted into Gryffindor each year. In the books, we only saw how Harry\'s room arrangement worked, so I took a bit of creative license here and decided to make the rule that it\'s four or five to a room and sometimes the first years don\'t all room together. Anyway, Molly\'s two older roommates graduated the year previously so there happened to be room for two new girls. (In a different fic, I used the creative license the opposite way, as it happened to be more convenient for that story; A Fresh Start). Hope that clears everything up!

This story was completely written before the release of DH or the Order of the Phoenix movie. Any similarities are entirely coincidental.

Of Christmas Past by Chaser921

Summary: Harry, Ron, Hermione and Ginny find themselves in a Muggle hotel in Godric's Hollow on the Winter Solstice. During an enthusiastic snowball fight, Harry and Ginny step through a stone circle that transports them seventeen years into the past. This may be the only chance Harry has to spend with his parents, and it may also be what he needs to figure out his relationship with Ginny.

The warning is for later chapters.

Edit: So, this was originally strictly a Harry/Ginny fic, but Ron and Hermione kept trying to get together too, so I felt like I had to change the category. And there's a bit of Lily/James in there too, though they're already married, and I've also added a bit of Remus/Tonks. Poor Sirius is the only Singleton (though he may manage to get a girl of his own)!

Edit: This story was cannon until after Deathly Hallows came out, so I changed it to Alternate Universe, but it's still pretty close to cannon. Only a few things will end up being different when the story ends.

Edit: I've changed all of the chapter titles to the titles of Christmas songs that I felt reflected the events in the chapters best. Tell me what you think! Does it fit?

Call me dim but I don't get why they're so shakey. :S

Author's Response: It is more to do with James than any other character. He is freaked out by the fact that he has fallen from such a great height and landed in a graveyard, and the unexpected revelation of where he has exactly landed shakes him even more. It will be elaborated on more in the next chapter, compounding what the Marauders may/may not know about Godric's Hollow. It's prophetic and creates links between James' past and future. I hope that becomes clearer in the next few chapters and it helps you to understand. xxx

Those few leftover scraps are either spent working on this story, or with my family, so this is kind of old stuff.
