It would seem that you stumbled upon my author page. Well, I'm Julia, a Ravenclaw on the beta boards, and a Canadian in real life.

A bit about me:
I don’t usually focus on one thing at once, especially in writing. I currently have around five projects buzzing in my mind. Although I barely find the time to work on them, I dare not give up. :]
I procrastinate horribly when it comes to work and cleaning my room. Life is my inspiration. I've become a night owl due to evil time zones. I'm almost always eating something; I love food. I'm the youngest of four, and I consider my friends to be my family. I'll love you forever if you introduce me to good music. Seriously, I will. ;D

After a year the Epilouge is now up! Come read for a bit of fun!!

Runner up QSQ - Best Chaptered Canon Romance

Reason for Nomination:
This is the most unique take on how James and Lily really got to know each other. The story is hilarious and keeps you laughing throughout, but it never lets you forget the serious stuff. Plus, she somehow manages to end each chapter with a nice cliffhanger.

“Lily, let me make a list of things that I would do for you: I’d dive into the lake in winter, I’d pull out my fingernails, I’d live in Antarctic, I’d streak across the Great Hall. Lily, I would die for you. But what you are asking me to do right now, well in all honesty it is every man’s deepest fear.”
D'awwwh. -heart melts- That is the sweetest line I've heard, ever. If I’m not mistaken, I’m quite sure that I’ve been reading this since you put up the first chapter, and your writing has continued to get better with each chapter you write. :)
Just so you know, I’m using this review to nominate you in the RQSQ, for Best Romance. :]

Oh .. wow.
I liked it , but the end .. um, I am disturbed. Scarred for life, even. ;]
All the same , I think it was pretty decent. :)

Author's Response: If you think you're scarred, think about poor Sirius. I imagine pranking would've been less of a thrill after this. Thanks for the review.

That was .. depressingly fabulous!
I was so close to tears the whole way through, but when Hermione appeared in the library, I burst out laughing.
If you don't mind me nitpicking, I think she was a bit OOC in the sense that we've always seen Hermione go for help when she is having trouble. But in this, she didn't. Or was that a part of her depression?
Whatever. I loved it!

Wow .. that was so sad, but I liked it , a lot. It was so calmly emotional , which I like. I find it easier to understand and relate to when it's written like that.
Great job! :)

Alyssa dear, that was really truly great.
I liked how you interpreted why he was laughing, like, putting in why you thought he was.
A super-quick nitpick: Keeping the wand behind his back, he blast the street apart.
You need -ed on the end of 'blast' to make it past tense. ;)
Keep up the fab work!

Author's Response: Thank you for reading this, Julia. I'll make that little change in a bit. Thanks for reviewing!

As creepy as I found this, it was beautifully written. You don't overdo your descriptions, yet you decribe them well enough that I can see what I'm reading.
"a cat with thistled iron tails having struck there beneath his shirt"
I love this metaphor. Your writing amazes me, and I thank you for a brilliant read!

--Julia

Author's Response: Yes, I too was pretty creeped out during and especially after I'd written it! XD Anyway, I'm really glad you liked it... it's a strange one. :) Thanks for a nice review!
