Good story. Well written. I do feel sorry for Ron but Hermione does love Harry more. Lupin's return as DADA instructor would be great. I think Hermione's parents would think Ron a better choice for Hermione than Harry but they would go along with whatever she wants. I think that Hermione gets what Hermione wants, even if it's not good for her. Nice long chapters. Keep up the good work.

Good chapter, keep it up! I can see you're not in the "Draco is really a good guy club". He raped Hermione and she has to see him everyday at school. Nasty! I like how you have Harry and Hermione bickering and then making up like newly weds.
Good Story. I'm glad that Ron took the news about Harry and Hermione so easily. What is Lord Voldemort up to in the desert? Is he in Egypt? And why does he care about Harry's love life? I can't wait to read chapter 6.

Nice story. Sweet and innocent. Good analysis of the complexity of Hermione's thought processes. You dealt with the Ronald issue very nicely. I would hate to see him break Luna's heart, afterall Weasley is her King.

This is a nice way to tie up the story. JKR's characterization of Ron makes him more self centered and jealous than your fic. A lot of the R/Hr shippers say that H/Hr shippers portray Ron badly but I think we actually tend to make him a better and more loyal friend to Harry than JKR does. I can't imagine the Ron of HBP being helpful in bringing Harry closer to Hermione even if they both asked him to do so.
Excellent story. I think Ron mght be a bit more jealous but still excellent. All it would take for Harry to pair up with Hermione is a little nudge in the right direction. The love potion is a great gimmick.
As Wellington said at Waterloo, "a victory is a disaster that is surpassed only by defeat." Nice start. The post traumatic stress from a wizards' battle could be very severe. The fighting is so personal and unpredictable. Keep writing!

Well that certainly clears up the question of who will inherit 12 Grimmauld place. I think Hermione is brave and resourceful but sending her to spy on Voldemort, wow! Does Harry know about that?

It's a good plot please continue to update. It looks like poor Hermione is going to be in for a rough ride. Frankly I think that is a real possibility in JKRs books too. It would be very daring of Dumbledore to put Hermione into such danger, but it is a lot more realistic than stories that begin "Harry and Hermione were two carefree teenagers..."

Your idea of writing from Hedwig's perspective was excellent. I'd like to see a story from Crookshanks perspective. I think that cat's behavior reveals a lot. Just who does that cat like more, Harry or Ron? When Hermione was acting all friendly towards Ginny in HBP, Crookshanks seemed to spend a lot of time watching her pygmy puff. Do you suppose he thought he could get away with eating that bird and not get in trouble?
Author's Response: Part of the reason I choose Hedwig was because her personality is generally shown, but the fine details were up to me. I think that Hermione and Ginny are good enough friends that if Crookshanks did eat Arnorld (that\'s the pygmy puff\'s name, isn\'t it?) that Ginny would be upset, but she\'d remember that Crookshanks was right about Sirius Black (she\'s probably been told abut that) so she\'d be all right.. Hermione might scold crookshanks a bit though.

Hi Waddiwasi!, Good chapter! Thanks for updating. With the delay because of the technical problems I had forgotten some of your key plot elements. But this story is AU, starts between Harry's 5th and 6th years. Dumbledore is alive and Draco came over to the good guys side because Lucius Malfoy murdered Narcissa. It's cute how Pig was concerned about Hedwig when they were stuck in Diagon alley.

Very unique! Hedwig's perspective, I love it. Can you answer the burning question? Will Hedwig be building a nest and laying eggs, or is she a he? I like the blood magic idea too. Dumbledore loves that sort of stuff, especially when the blood is from a dragon like Aunt Petunia.

Author's Response: I take back what i said about the eggs and the nest, in my first story plan, it was in, but then i thought of a different (and hopefully alot better) ending, and sadly, i cant figure out how to put them in without writing an extra chapter, and this is Harry's story, not Hedwig's... even if it is from her point of vew. Ah yes, a while ago i was listning to book 2, and Hedwig is deffinetly a girl.
Hi Waddiwasi chik!, Good chapter. It's a nice little AU you're creating here. That Hermione loves Harry with the white hot intensity of a tousand suns is quite realistic. Using Luna and Draco to distract Ron and Ginny is very creative and definitely the alternative reality of this alternate universe. If only it was that simple in JKRs version.

The second chapter is very good. I think you are an excellent writer. Bringing in Alberforth is an interesting idea because Harry is clearly going to need help to overcome Lord Voldemort and his army. Will Harry wear and use the enchanted necklace or will he put it in the bottom of his trunk like he did with the magic mirror that could have connected him with Sirius?

Excellent start. Keep writing! Do not be disappointed by HBP, Book 7 may change everything. Harry's vision of his own grave is very realistic. I do worry about his future. Interesting twist on Aunt Petunia. She's sort of a day late and a dollar short though.
