Interesting...very interesting. Will Harry go back to school? Will he get back with Ginny? You should continue to write! Your story is very promising. It's cool how you have Lupin there set to help Harry in his task (the whole order is ready to go!) As for the criticism...It is moving a bit fast. Do you think Harry would be so quick to get back with Ginny? I'm not so sure. You got rushed towards the end, it would have been nice to see Harry's dialogue with his two companions. Well that's all! About time Ginny yelled at Harry! Well done!!! I was shocked by Mrs. Weasley's death :O How can that be? But you made it all very realistic. War is nasty! I expect everyone is in a pretty somber mood with all the deaths and missing people. Still, there was that silver lining of Harry and Ginny finally finding love.
Author's Response: Thanks. I felt that Ginny would not take Harry leaving her so lightly, I know she understands his position but Voldy already knows about them so why end it? Mrs. Weasley's death sucked, but I felt she's the one that held the family together and now it was time to pass the torch. Thanks for reviewing!

Author's Response: Well, I say that he'd send those to Lucius as revenge for messing up in the Ministry and losing the prophecy that Voldy needed so much.
About Umbridge, she could drive anyone insane with her clipboard and HEM HEM fake coughs, so maybe Voldy thought it a neat punishment for Lucius's incompetence. Just ask yourself this: Whould YOU like to have 8 clones of Umbridge in your house?

I loved your story!!! It's such a creative take on a background character! I've always wondered what storys lurk in the past of the other characters. It's awesome that we get to see characters that we are familiar with such as James, Lily and Sirius. Frank would have been a cool dad (poor Neville!) I definately want to see where you go with this. It is such an excellent start.
Now for a slight criticism...When you were writing about Peter you wrote:
Frank thought its friends were somewhat mean to him, but figured that there had to be someone to take the brunt of all that.
I think you mean to say "his" not "its".

Wow! This is such an excellent fanfic! What a relief after all the other same-plot tedious fics! You really captured the heart of a teenage crush! Of course Alice fancies Frank...she'd never tell him though! I like how the marauders are background characters...it really brings out the story. I wonder if Lily will be making an appearence? Glad we're finally at Hogwarts...let the mystery begin!!! 10/10

I can understand the hype. This was a very good entry. I particuliarly found truth in the most powerful piece falling to protect the most important one. However, it's questionable to me that McGonagall would go to see Snape despite questioning where his loyalties lie. Also, being that she is quite a shrewd witch, I doubt that she would put herself in potential harms way even if she had a glimmer of hope that Snape may be innocent. Other than that, everything was very well-written!

One of the things I was keeping in mind through this was Dumbledore's comment in HBP that teachers always see their former students as students, to at least some degree. McGonagall has been good about never treating Snape as a student in public -- but the fact that he was her student probably still crosses her mind. I'd had in mind that this, more than questions of innocence, was what made her trust him enough to go to him. If it didn't show, that's a good thing to know about for future risk-taking (hers and mine.)

Well I'm joining hawaiianhulagal in her car and I've just buckled my seat belt for the ride! :D But in all honesty, you still have me on the edge of my seat! I'm beginning to suspect that the Ministry had something to do with Harry going missing!!! And did they take care of Remus? Are the Death Eaters paying their way (as the Malfoy's did after Voldies first fall) back into the wizarding world by bribing the Ministry? Hmm...strange! I'm asking myself why Voldemort would give Pettigrew half the things on that list. It's difficult to buy Voldemort giving Horcruxes to Wormtail!
Author's Response: Ok well the idea behind that one was not that Wormtail himself could split his soul into Horcruxes but rather he was given Voldemort's horcruxes to hide/distribute. Think about the fact that Lucius Malfoy had the diary before giving it to Ginny!
This was nicely done...but I wish you would have given us more of a reason for Harry needing to be redeemed. A bit more about Ginny being tortured would have done it (I think!)
Author's Response: Yes, I see what you mean. But I was trying to make a point in that Harry doesn't need to have actually done anything to need redemption. I was trying to make it so that you could easily change the names and apply it to a real war. I'm doing a history project on war at the moment, and one of the things that continues to strike me is that no one seems to notice how hard it must be for soldiers, after all they have seen, to sit back down in front of the couch and watch crappy soap operas. Do you see what I mean? So the reason Harry needed to be redeemed was because he fought. It's not that easy to go back. He needed someone to help him.
Nice to hear from Dumbledore again! Cockroach clusters and lemon drops were my favorite...although it would be difficult to get any seeing seers! ;)
