Hey, my name is Heather(ignore the username), and as you might've guessed, I like to write fanfiction. It's up to you to decide whether I suck or not. But I promise you, I will try to improve. I love to write, and I love to captivate people with my writing.
Okay, I suppose I should tell you a little bit about myself. I am a huge HP(and Snape)addict. I am a bookworm and music lover. I'd love to make a new friend here. And finally, I can be either very mature or completely and utterly insane.

If you don't know, a sonnet is a short fourteen-line poem that takes less than thirty seconds to read. I know. I timed myself. It's great for people with short attention spans. If you have a really short attention span, read a haiku.

OMG! You can't imagine how excited I was when I decided to log into Mugglenet FF randomly(haven't been on in a long time), checked my favorites, and find that this has been updated! I had absolutely loved this story, and was so sad when it got put on hiatus, and had pretty much given up on it. It had actually inspired me to write a Snape-daughter fanfic of my own(not on here, on ff.net). Anyway, I'm so happy this is back! This review is going to be on the last few chapters because, like I said, I had kinda abandoned the story.
You are such a brilliant writer. The personality of Shiloh is amazing, so like Snape(my favorite character!). I hope he finds out that she's his daughter soon! You keep everyone in character very well, I'm impressed. I wish Snape had come to Shiloh's rescue when that hex hit her, but then I'm just sentimental like that. I wonder who did it? I'm thinking Marcus Flint, but that seems too obvious. Or maybe Annadel and her friends. Oh, I don't know, lol. I laughed when Shiloh accidently hit Snape with the snow ball. (: Finally, some more scenes with the two of them! If you choose to write it....
Oh, I would've been so pissed if I were Shiloh and Jacob had stolen that letter. I like him, but that was pretty jerkish.
Anyway, this review has gotten really rambly, so I'm going to stop. Fantastic job, and update soon, or you'll have a Howler sent your way! (:

Author's Response: I'm so glad that you like it. In a perfect world, it would have been Snape that came to Shiloh's rescue, but realistically there was a lot of mayhem and Snape was quite busy. Plus we would have missed Demi slapping Lockhart which would have been such a shame. And yes Jacob's action was pretty jerkish. But he is a guy and they all have a tendency to be that way. This is absolutely brilliant. One of my favorite fics I've ever read. Completely realistic, Severus is totally in character. Lily is such a refreshing character, as well, not totally perfect like Severus sees her as, but a very kind person all the same. You are a very talented writer, is this seriously your first fanfiction? I find that hard to believe. Again, I really love this fic and can't wait for the next chapter! I have a feeling though, if it keeps with canon, the Sev/Lily friendship will fall apart again. Sad, but....*sigh* Of course, I hope that doesn't happen, but still. Good job!
Author's Response: Thank you so much-- it's good to know that he still seems to be in character when I'm taking his character in such a different direction from the actual canon story. And Lily is a challenge also, but an enjoyable one. This is my first fanfiction-- I wrote "The Knick Knack" when I was two chapters into this one, so that is technically my second and this is my first-- but I've been at this one for ages now, so it hardly seems like I'm new at it anymore. :) I'm just waiting for my beta to look over the next chapter, and I hope to have it up shortly.

Very good. Believable, and well written. I grinned to myself, loving the irony. "right--about--HERE" I think I knew then that Severus was joking, because that was so exaggerated. But poor Lily remains oblivious, haha. The pillow fight was epic. Great job! And try to update your other fic soon, okay?:D
