Hi. I'm Emily, and I am a HUGE Harry Potter fan. I LOVE to read, and my favorite book series include Harry Potter (Of course!) the Inheritance Cycle, and the Lord of the Rings. Single books I love are The Outsiders, Tex, That was Then, this is Now, and Taming the Star Runner all by S.E. Hinton.

You know you live in 2008 when...
1) You go to a party and sit down and take MySpace pictures
2) You haven't played Solitaire with real cards in years.
3) The reason for you not staying in touch with your friends is that they don't have MSN/Facebook/AIM
4) You'd rather look all over the house for the remote instead of just pushing the button on the T.V.
6) Your evening activity is sitting at the computer.
7) You read this list, and keep on nodding and smiling.
8) You think about how stupid you are for reading this.
9) You were too busy to notice number 5.
10) You actually scrolled back up to see if there was a number 5.
11) And now you're laughing at your stupidity.

Forever on the Closed Ward by Aelan Greenleaf

Rated: 1st-2nd Years • Past Featured Story
Summary: "I'm Harry. Harry Potter," the man smiled as he reached out a welcoming hand, "and who are you?" "Brian. Brian Harrison," the boy lied. He could feel the sadness rise in him as they shook hands, as if meeting for the first time.

Really great job. So sad!!

The Letter by Cassandras Cross

Rated: 6th-7th Years • Past Featured Story
Summary: DH SPOILERS! Harry is so consumed with his career as an Auror that he loses touch with Ginny and their children until a letter arrives to help him remember what really matters. But is something sinister waiting out there to take it all away? An escape from Azkaban, the first in twenty years, stirs up Harry's worst fears from the past as those he loves are threatened.

Romance, mystery, and drama combine to make this a story you won't soon forget! Set one year before DH epilogue. Completely canon compliant. All reviews receive responses.

THE EPILOGUE IS UP! I don't know whether to laugh or cry as this story comes to an end, and Harry finally figures out where it's really at. (Thanks again to the amazing mods for your rapid-fire response!)

Great job! I love that part when James came running into the room, "As though flung from a slingshot" That's so funny...Also how I always imagined James!

A Wounded Beginning by inspireme101

Rated: 6th-7th Years •
Summary: This is a story of great restoration. This is a story that is of how the Wizarding World is to recover after the horrendous reign of Lord Voldemort. This is a story of how the families torn apart, are reunited. This is a story of how Harry Potter and Ginny Weasley truly learn to laugh, love, grieve, hate, long, desire, feel, ache, trust, and most importantly live. This story contains various pairings throughout its chapters, but I try to keep it centered on Harry and Ginny. Second, the Language can heat up at quite sometimes, so be warned. Third, the suicide warning is there just as a notice, I do not describe it graphically in anyway, it is only mentioned/discussed briefly

Great work!! I think you did an amazing job of capturing everyone's feelings after the battle. I also appreciate that you still portray Harry and Ginny in love, even after everything they've been through.
