Hello everyone! My name is Dylan and I am 16 years old. And for the record... I am a girl. Some people get confused... Dylan is usually a boy's name... Anyway. Some things about me:
- I have read Harry Potter more times than I can count
- I went to the midnight release of the 6th movie and to both parts of 7
- I love musicals, but suck at singing
- My friends and I make movies... a lot
- I have a pet bunny
- I am going to be a junior
- I am obsessed with Tiny Wings
- I love my HP soundtracks
- There is a picture of a door on my door
- I watch The Office, 30 Rock, Scrubs, How I Met Your Mother, Arrested Development, Community, Parks and Rec, Gossip Girl, The Newsroom, and Doctor Who
- I always dress up as a Gryffindor for Halloween
- I'm sorta addicted to youtube
- The Vlogbrothers are my heroes
- My favorite band is Fountains of Wayne
- I love British Television like The Inbetweeners, Sherlock, and The Office (UK)
- Currently, my favorite non HP movie is V For Vendetta
- I'm very interested in films and I want to be a film major in college
- I write mostly James/Lily, but I want to try some other genres
I am completely obsessed with Harry Potter.
Right now, I am working on two chaptered fics-
Snowflakes:
Lily and her muggle friends go to a ski resort over summer holiday and James turns up with Sirius Black. They have some good fun and run from some Death Eaters and get up to shenanigans ;)
The Marauder's Map to a Gryffindor's Heart:
I started this a while ago, so it really isn't the best piece of writing... but I do like the story, so I will probably continue. Ten chapters have been written (from about three years ago) so I hope to edit them and hopefully get them on this site! This one basically follows the Marauders through their years at school. Don't expect much character development, since I wrote this when I was about twelve. At least until I get past the first ten chapters :P
Then there's a one-shot!
The Sorting Hat Put Me in Slytherin:
This one shows what might have happened if Harry had become friends with Malfoy... *shutters* It has a lot more to do with Harry's character and all that deep stuff. Enjoy :D

Date: 07/15/10 Title: Chapter 20: I'll Shut Them Up
HOLY MOTHER OF MERLIN!!!! I was actually alone in my room, gasping out loud as I read this chapter. And much worse, I yelled, "YOU JERK!" when I found out about Regulus. I'm so into this story and I can't wait to read about the encounter with Voldemort! I actually wasn't expecting that... I thought they would stay in Hogwarts for sure, but I'm really excited for the next chapter now! And I feel awful for Grace =[ it's so sad. And poor Lily! I can imagine that would be so hard on James. Man, this has got to be my favorite story on this site (beating out An Unseemly Proposal!) and one of the best written! Thanks for writing it!! =D And please update soon!

oh my god!! that was absolutely incredible! what a chapter! i almost screamed! ok where to begin?all right about the death eater stuff... its so sad! they just kill people and have no problem with it. was regulus the one who killed jill? its just a theory, but it just seems like he was... and at the very end there i was so excited and i was reading so quickly that i thought KATRINA was the one who kissed him! i had to re-read the last four paragraphs before i realised what had happened! obviously, i loved the chapter! i love the story! i alwasys get so excited when i get the email telling me that there is an update! so please update soon! i cant wait to see what happens next!!!

So, so, so amazing! I absolutely adored this story! It was perfect and thought provoking and interesting and well written! I couldn't find a single flaw if I tried. My favorite chapter was probably chapter five when they were playing the drinking game. It was pretty funny and light-hearted! I also liked when James was figuring everything out and talking to Grace and Regulus. That was really cool to see everything adding up. I could tell that this whole story was REALLY well planned! As for my favorite character... well, the entire time I wanted to give James a big hug =] I love him! But I also really liked Regulus and Grace together. That part was really good. I loved the whole thing so much! I'm really sad that you aren't planning any more chaptered fics... but I'll definitely look for your one/two-shots! Thanks so much for such a great story!

Date: 07/20/10 Title: Chapter 21: But I'm Not Made of Steel
This was amazing! I was in tears by the end of it. Will you please become a professional author? You can be certain that I would buy your books =] I've read a lot of stories where encounters with Voldemort are very over the top and way too cheesy, but I thought you did an unbelievable job! Voldemort's characterization was spot-on and so perfect! I was so nervous that Lily was going to die, even though I knew that she had to live because of cannon... Ahh! I just can't get over how amazing this was! I feel awful for Sirius, it all seems so horrible and heartbreaking because now I know that after they leave school everything kinda goes downhill... Another thing that has happened multiple times while reading this story, is that I keep thinking that this is automatically cannon! I was nodding my head thinking, "Well, this is why Sirius hates Regulus so much," or "This is when Dumbledore asked them all to be in the Order..." Oh, and that brings me to another topic, Peter. Merlin, I keep wondering how Peter could betray his friends after seeing what they've gone through. After seeing all the hate and ERG! Then, I remember that this isn't exactly cannon, but still! (It's good enough to be cannon!) After all the loss, though. . . Anyway, I think I've ranted enough! Whoo! Basically, I love this story. I can't wait for the epilogue and I can't wait to see what tale you come up with next! Thank you for writing! xoxo
Author's Response: Thank you very much! Professional author is the dream, I admit. I was nervous about that encounter with Voldemort because he, like Dumbledore, is so hard to pin down, imo, and writing him is always walking a thin line. I'm so glad you thought it was done well! Sirius really does get the short stick in life, and he deserves so much better! I like stories where he has a good romance in school, but it never seems entirely accurate to me. As for Peter . . . I kind of hate stories where he's made out to be a dumbass who isn't actually even all that good of friends with the rest. I really don't think that was the case. But as for how he could turn evil after all that, well, it's funny you should mention it, because the epilogue has to do with that ;)
