Hello! I'm Alyssa. I joined this site just after I turned thirteen and I'm still here. Well, I'm here off and on.

Mugglenet is where I read my first fanfic, and it's where I tried submitting my first story. I met some of my best friends here.

This is just a great place.

I don't write very often, and when I do it's short. That'll never change, so never expect anything more than a one shot from me.

To anyone who has given me a review, thank you very much!

My first ever one-shot is Home, and my second is Talking in the Ministry. I don't think they are very good, so read at your own caution.

My stories:

Two is Better Than One - Harry/Hermione
Regret - Dark/Angsty (Molly's POV)
Home - Harry/Ginny
That One Detention - Other Pairing (Rosmerta/OC)
Your Time - Marauder Era (Lily's POV)
True Happiness - Dark/Angsty
Love Reign O're Me - Marauder Era (Remus's POV)
I Get By - Same-Sex Pairing (Crabbe/Goyle)
On my Own - Dark/Angsty (Sirius's POV)
Birthday Surprises - General
What Would You Do? - James/Lily ~ Won QSQ for best Canon Romance
Over and Over - Dark/Angsty (James's POV)
Talking in the Ministry - General

My poems:

Awaiting - A poem about the Final Battle.
Light My Fire - A Dolores/Fudge poem.
Character Haikus - Haikus about HP characters.
The One for Me - James's POV about Lily.
Father - A peom about Harry dying.
Madness - A poem about Azkaban.

I Think This Love is Altering my Brain by MadEyeMaddy

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: Ron and Hermione have always had a special connection. But mix in a fake French girl, a handful of dares, a cup of Hogsmeade trips, half a pound of Malfoy, and a pinch of detentions, there is definitely some trouble to be anticipated.

A look into Ron and Hermione's fifth-year minds to experience the spazzness and crazyism in first person.

Disclaimer: Sadly, I am not J. K. Rowling. I'm not even famous. Heck, I only have one story up on Mugglenet. But I'm still glad I can walk into J. K.'s world. And tap-dance back out again.

Additional warnings: May contain fluff, excessive randomness (AU), and minor plot twists!

I would also appreciate if NikkiSue/Nicole could mod this for me :]

I can't believe I waited this long to read this chapter. Shame on me. I absolutly love this line here: And, as all mean girls do when their plans are foiled, she stomped her foot and shrieked. It made me laugh so hard I started caughing. It's just great. It's funny and true at the same time which is the reason that it's great.

I like what happened in this chapter. It's very good. I wasn't expecting Ginny crying at the end of it. I loved reading Ron and Hermione together. It was cute and funny at the same time which is good too.

I'm going to guess what happens next. I'm not good at guessing. More than half my life I've watched crime shows and I've only guessed the right bad guy before half of the show is over once. Here it goes:

They go on their date and they are nurvus and Avril shows up and does some bad stuff. Ron and Hermione will either have a cute ending or something bad happens and in the next next chapter they get better.

Bad, right? Anyways, now I'm very excited to see what happens. I want to know how far off I am. I think that this is a great story and I'm sad that it's going to end soon.

Author's Response: Awww! Saying that you laughed that hard really made my day(: Yeah, Ginny crying at the end....I thought she and Hermione needed a little "female bonding" haha. I'm not going to say anything to whether your guess is right or wrong, though.... But I am sorry to say that the next chapter IS the last besides the epilogue....Sorry for the short response though, I have to get in the shower.... --Maddy(:

I really like this chapter. It's really good. My favorite part is the last paragraph.

But James would not give up. He would prove to her that Snape was a no-good Slytherin and that he was the heroic one, worthy to be in the house of Godric Gryffindor.

That explains why he makes fun of him all the time. It's great. I really like this storyand I hope you update soon.

Author's Response: Thank you so much for the review! I really appreciate the feedback! Hopefully I will be able to update soon(and I personally enjoy chapter 3...)! Thanks again! :)

Fire & Ice by PlonkerOnDaLoose

Rated: 6th-7th Years •
Summary: “But if I’m fire,” I protested, “and you’re ice, what do we have in common?” Tom smirked, reaching up and twisting a strand of my hair around his finger. “Destruction.” I pressed my knife to his throat, drawing blood. “My feelings exactly.” TR/GW

I like this chapter. I'm glad Ginny went to live with him. I really really like the last sentence of this chapter. It says that she isn't just doing that because she has dirnks that night but because she wanted to. It also sounds cool. I really want to see what happens next. Especially with what her family thinks about them together.

Author's Response: Thanks for the review! I am glad to know you liked it. Thats what i was trying to go for with the last second, as for the family the next chapter will have a some confrontation. I hope to have the thrid chapter up shortly. Thanks again!

I really like this story. It's definentally my favorite out of all of the dragon storys that I've read. It also told me why there were lots of dragon storys. I just thought that everybody got like a dragon fever and had to write about dragons or else that would grow chicken feet. But back to the story, I think it's really good. I like how you have the ending with Lily protecting the Norwegian Ridgeback. I could see her protecting it. The only thing I don't see is Lily working at a dragon reservation thing. She would have to for the kind of story you did, but I don't imagine her working there. Once again, I really like the story. It was fun to read.

P.S. I can't spell to save my life.
P.P.S. This is the longest review I have ever written. It took like five minutes.

Author's Response: Oh thank you so much for that review, I thought no one read that story :D It was my first Gauntlet, and I didn't know how to write for the prompts yet, so I think at some points it sounds a bit.. forced, and unnatural. But I grew to like it, and I'm very glad you enjoyed it too! :) And yea, I picked Lily, and the first prompt was "your character works with dragons" – I really couldn't come up with anything more explainable or believable >.< stupid time pressure :P So I'm really glad to hear that someone read and enjoyed my story, and that I didn't write it for nothing. Thank you for your review – and I love long reviews :D

Bludgers and Meteors by lucilla_pauie

This was how it happened instead. During Sunday brunch.

Surrounded by Weasleys and babies, instead of violin notes and posies.

With sniping and bellowing, along with the embraces and kissing.

But it was no less perfect.

I really love this story. I love all the different years that Albus was there. You put alot of stuff in only one chapter and it was great. I'm sad that there is only one chapter.

I love this oneshot. the characterization of the characters is amazing. The differences between Lockhart and Snape is really pronounced in this onesjot. It's cool to read about them and how many differences they have. Lockhart is bubbly and cheerful and Snape is a bit more... sarcastic. They make an interesting pair. This is just an mamzing oneshot. You did a great job with this.

Author's Response: A belated thank-you! Glad you enjoyed the story. I have always enjoyed writing Lockhart stories, and hope to get another one up in the future.

Eventual Embrace by Afifa

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: If a girl you love likes you, it doesn't necessarily mean that she wants to go a step ahead with the relationship. Or that she wants you to be something more than just friends.

But, if the girl you love hated you and then started liking you and became your friend, it is possible that she may also learn to love you back. All you have to do is wait for the right time.

This is a sequel to my other James/Lily one shot: Beneath the Shell, but it can be read as a stand alone, too.

A/N: Warning is there just in case, there is seriously, nothing major going on.
