Hello! I'm Alyssa. I joined this site just after I turned thirteen and I'm still here. Well, I'm here off and on.

Mugglenet is where I read my first fanfic, and it's where I tried submitting my first story. I met some of my best friends here.

This is just a great place.

I don't write very often, and when I do it's short. That'll never change, so never expect anything more than a one shot from me.

To anyone who has given me a review, thank you very much!

My first ever one-shot is Home, and my second is Talking in the Ministry. I don't think they are very good, so read at your own caution.

My stories:

Two is Better Than One - Harry/Hermione
Regret - Dark/Angsty (Molly's POV)
Home - Harry/Ginny
That One Detention - Other Pairing (Rosmerta/OC)
Your Time - Marauder Era (Lily's POV)
True Happiness - Dark/Angsty
Love Reign O're Me - Marauder Era (Remus's POV)
I Get By - Same-Sex Pairing (Crabbe/Goyle)
On my Own - Dark/Angsty (Sirius's POV)
Birthday Surprises - General
What Would You Do? - James/Lily ~ Won QSQ for best Canon Romance
Over and Over - Dark/Angsty (James's POV)
Talking in the Ministry - General

My poems:

Awaiting - A poem about the Final Battle.
Light My Fire - A Dolores/Fudge poem.
Character Haikus - Haikus about HP characters.
The One for Me - James's POV about Lily.
Father - A peom about Harry dying.
Madness - A poem about Azkaban.

The Marauder's Map - A Beginning by Karaley Dargen

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: On a lazy Saturday afternoon in their fifth year, two of the Marauders are staying inside talking – while the other two are outside and get an idea. Why not make a map of Hogwarts? It would certainly make their nightly wanderings easier, and who knows what could be done with a piece of parchment...

This is Karaley Dargen of Gryffindor writing for the final in the MWPP class on the beta boards.

Beyond The Portal by Pallas

Wow, that was very unexpected. My favorite line is Where’s Hagrid when you need him? It made me spit out my hot chocolate because I laughed for a second. I love lines like that. I love Remus's emotions when he finds out that he is haveing a girl. I think you did a great job on that. I also lke Dora's replies to Remus when he tells her to leave. They were also good. I hope I find out what happens next soon because I like this story so far.

The Difference You Made by Padfoot Patronus

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: All accomplished men like Dad share something in common – they are looked down, degraded, criticised for everything they say or do, right or wrong, and they take all of that in, patiently, uncharacteristically. Somewhere in those decades, the same society gives up on them, awards them with a pedestal of hero-ship and an immunity from all things used to roughen them up in a past life. People like Dad never again stand on the common ground like the rest of us.

Albus Potter reflects over past and present upon his father’s death. My impression of Harry Potter in later years – a hero of sort and so much more.

I really love this story. The ending is amazing. I love what Luna said in he speech. It made me a bit sad.

Author's Response: Thank you, ron lover. I feel I had the space to make the ending better but I was out of ideas. I'm glad you liked Luna's quote, it was something that came to mind as soon as I thought she was going to make a speech. Thanks for reading!

The Beginning of the End by Radcliffefan07

Summary: October 31st, 1981. That was the night that Sirius Black lost everything. James and Lily were dead, and Harry's fate, undermined, and Sirius wanted only one thing: revenge against the traitor that took it all from him.

This is my take on Sirius and his reaction the night the Potters were killed.

Rain by mahogany_wand

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary:
Teddy met them the summer it rained.

Teddy, Rianne, and Skye had been best friends since the first day they got to Hogwarts. Now entering their sixth year, will things like romance, grades, and the possibly impending war bring them together, or tear them apart?
Reviewer: ron lover Signed
Date: 09/16/09 Title: Chapter 1: Chapter 1

I think this a great begining to a story. I really like how everything starts out. I really like Andromeda in this also Teddy. I'm really excited to read the next chapter.

Author's Response: Thanks for the review! I'm glad you like the characters, because I believe stories are character driven. If everything goes well, I'll have the next chapter up soon!

When Worlds Die by MagEd

his first snow and kiss and fight . . .
Not people die but worlds die in them

~Yevgeny Yevtushenko, "People"

His twin is dead, and as far as George can see, the whole world might as well have died, too. In other words, this is the story of how George Weasley grieved in seven steps. *one-shot*
Reviewer: ron lover Signed

This is the wrong story to read before the first day of school. You had me crying for George. I really love this story. I really love your George. He is really great. I also like the fights between Harry, Ginny and George. I just love this story.

Author's Response: Thanks! I've never really written much of George, so it good to know you think I did it well! I'm glad you liked the story, even if it had you crying ;)

When Moody's Eyeball Popped Out by DragonDi

Oh, this made me laugh. I love this pillow fight part. That was funny. The ending was great. I just love this whole story.

Something Called Home by A H

Rated: 6th-7th Years •
Summary: Not even a week after the final Battle, the downfall of the Dark Lord, the Wizarding's World hero disappears. Harry Potter has been missing for four months, and not even the best of the Aurors, nor his own best friends can find him. For Ron, Hermione, Ginny, the Weasley family and the whole of the Wizarding World, hope to find him is lost, and very few still persist in his search.

What seems to us as bitter trials are often blessings in disguise.

Oscar Wilde

Rated UP for profanity. Otherwise clean. :]

Thr begining to this, to me, was confusing, but I knew what was going on in the end.

I think that the end was great. I knew what was going on without you giving tons of details. The way you have this writen at the end is beautiful.

As they watched him fade into the distance, they had no idea it was the last time they'd be seeing him.

I think that is written amazingly well, and it ends the chapter in a great way. It's a nice cliff hanger. I love to leave my stories off like this, and I like reading stories that end like this. It makes me want to read the next chapter right away. I think you did great with that.

I really like this story so far, and I'm excited to read the next chaper.

Author's Response: Ohh, very opposite from the other opinion on the last line, hehe. I'm glad you liked it, and enjoyed the chapter. Thanks for reviewing!
