Reviewer: OtterMoone Signed
Date: 07/26/10 Title: Chapter 1: The Poetry of Severus Snape

Amazing :) . Even after 6 years and DH . I always felt a connection with evil ol' Snape, and I felt so bad for him when DH was published and the truth came out. He actually did feel love. And pain. Beautiful poem (: . Timeless.

The Unseemly Proposal by sparx

Rated: 3rd-5th Years • Past Featured Story
Summary: The reign of Voldermort comes to an end, and with it ends the prestige and power Lucius Malfoy once had in the Wizarding World. In order to regain the respect of his fellow wizards and to make them believe that he has turned over a new leaf (which he actually hasn't) and has graciously accepted muggles and Mudbloods, Lucius asks Hermione, a Mudblood, to marry his son, Draco, a pure-blood. Obviously, they both refuse, but Lucius isn't going to give up easily. After all, he wants his status back. He still has a few tricks up his sleeve and is determined to play match-maker. What happens next is a series of events that serve only to bring Hermione and Draco closer, both literally and figuratively speaking. Read to find out how this one unseemly proposal causes absolute chaos in their lives! THIS STORY IS NOT HBP and DH COMPATIBLE! Hey all! Check out my personal info for the expected date of the next update. =)

Tears of a Shadow by Eponine

Rated: 1st-2nd Years • Past Featured Story
Summary: After falling behind the veil, Sirius travels through a world of nightmares...

~ ~ ~

”Sirius…” Sirius blinks. He cranes his neck to look behind him.

"Sirius…"

A shiver runs up his spine as if a cold, dead finger is stroking it

"Who’s there?!” he calls out to the voice, spinning clockwise to try and catch a glimpse of whatever it is.

“Sirius Black…”

Was pretty good, but I don't get it... What exactly happened to Sirius? What exactly are those.... "Adgias"? Why do they want to destroy people? And what's going to happen to Sirius now? :(

Wow.... good story! *sigh*

Author's Response: Thank you! I think George deserves to be happy in as many stories as possible, :), and you made me happy by reading this one!

Reviewer: OtterMoone Signed
Date: 07/13/10 Title: Chapter 1: Pain and Comfort

Awww.... I've been reading this story, and I really love it, but I just realized It can't have happened, cause on J.K.Rowling's site, it says that George married Angelina and had 2 kids with her: Fred and Roxanne . :'(

Author's Response: Thank you for reading and loving the story! It could have happened when I started writing it after DH came out, sigh, but even after Jo came out with her family tree, I never wavered in my belief that George and Alicia are a great couple. They might not be canon, but thanks to Jo allowing fan fiction, they love and live happily ever after in this alternate dimension of the Potterverse. :)

Hahaha, Jolene is my middle name ^u^ you're an amazing writer. I love this story. It's so believable, and you stuck to the HP Universe while at the same time making it your own... if that makes sense. I'm glad Zippy finally told someone. Now (hopefully) she won't feel so alone!

Wow. Good story! Very sad. I liked how you used Snape's aunt and mom. Very believable as well :) . Voldy DID love, but he just couldn't change for the better when he had the chance (well, as better as he could become after killing his own father and grandparents..), and so he missed out on his one chance at love. I also thought it was so sweet when he said "Lydia, I wouldn't harm you..." I guess even Voldemort had one exception! Very well done.

Hmm... Interesting... I'm adding it to my favorites so that I don't lose my place... I would have chosen Ravenclaw for the 3 of them over Hufflepuff, though :/ ...

The Lions of Gryffindor by Equinox Chick

Rated: 3rd-5th Years • Past Featured Story
Summary: It is June 1976 and The Marauders are at the top of their game. From the outside they look to have everything. But appearances, as the saying goes, can be deceptive.

James is discovering that not everything in life is his for the taking. Sirius knows he will have to defy his formidable family. Remus lives in constant fear of his life beyond Hogwarts. As for Peter... Well, Peter is struggling to live up to his friends.

The ties of friendship are strong, but war is raging and with a dark power rising those ties will inevitably fray.

Added to the mix is an adversary called Severus Snape, some lost House Points, a prank or two and a whole lot of Lily.

This is a Marauder tale.

This is a story of what made them special.

This is a story of why it started to go wrong for The Lions of Gryffindor.

OH MY GOOD GODRIC! Lions of Gryffindor won the 2009 QSQ for Best Marauders' Era Story. Amazed and incredibly grateful to those who nominated, judged and have beta'd this fic. THANK YOU.

Ah, I take it that silvery version of James was Harry in the pensieve? Interesting! Makes ya wonder how the pensieve actually works then, huh? (:

Author's Response: Yes, he sees Harry but thinks it's himself. This will get mentioned again at the end of the story. My theory on that point was that because of the genetic connection and the emotions both were feeling at the time caused Harry to become slightly visible. Thanks for the review ~Carole~

Or is something else happening in her life that has ridden roughshod over her unusual powers?

Special thanks to Cassie (ms leading) for beta'ing this for me.

I'm going to make a conjecture from only reading the first chapter, and it's probably going to turn out wrong, but.... my guess is that the rose and message are from Bellatrix and she's talking about killing Sirius "for the best of the Black family". Wooh, probably a corny guess. Or maybe, I was already supposed to know who sent the rose, and I'm just a bit thick and didn't catch it. Now, I'll read the next few chapters! Oh, and by the way, Gryffindors are loyal, too :) .

Author's Response: I know Gryffindors are loyal - I just love my Hufflepuffs. (on the beta boards I'm a Hufflepuff and so I'm very very biased). Yes it was Bellatrix sending the rose and message. Wow, this was one of my first stories and I've not thought about it for ages. Thank you for reviewing. ~Carole~

D'awww.... I like how you made Sirius almost like a big brother figure to her :) But why are Tonks and Lupin already together? I take it that Lupin starts his nonsense in the next chapter.

Author's Response: My feeling with Tonks and Remus is that they were certainly together at the time of Sirius' death - or heading that way, and then it broke up when he was sent to the werewolf lair. In the books, (beginning of HBP) Tonks certainly doesn't want to spend time near Albus Dumbldore and I wonder if it's because he sent Remus away. Thank you ~Carole~

Nice little story. It definitely lets us feel Tonks' pain, even if only slightly. Oh, and that first review? I posted that before I finished with the first chapter :P Silly me!

Author's Response: Poor Tonks. If she'd survived the battle, I'm not sure she would have been happy without Remus, even with Teddy. Thank you for the review ~Carole~

I just KNEW that dress was going to end up having been important in the getting-together of her grandparents!!! Anyway, it was very good, and the sudden twist with Krum was funny :)

Author's Response: Ha ha ha - the dress is based on a dress I have. I wanted George and Angelina to have a lovely first kiss and start being happy together. Krum made me giggle too. ~Carole~
