I'm a teenager living in New York. I have parents, siblings, and friends, and probably have something else to do right now, but I'll deal with that later. I am a huge fan of the Harry Potter series and love reading, reviewing, and maybe even writing fan fiction. I haven't really done anything exciting enough to write about here, so I guess I'm done.

I wonder why no one ever thought of this pairing before? It's cute, it's funny, so why not? This is a really good idea, and everyone is in character. Good job!

Heiress of Evil by voldiexx

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: Whew, those thirteen years were nasty, but Voldemort's back and better than ever. He's got plenty to do, consolidating a power base, punishing traitors, and not letting the haters get him down, but he's spared some time to look over the custody agreement he signed fourteen years ago...

Annabel Curry wanted to spend the summer getting a tan, perfecting her Cheering Charms, and ensnaring Terry Boot. Instead, she's spending it with her dad the mass murderer and his unshaven goons. Oh yeah, and the shower doesn't work, AND NO ONE BUT HER SEEMS TO CARE.

First dates. Sparkly nail polish. Magical plumbing fiascos. Some heartwarming father-daughter moments. And some not-so-heartwarming ones.

This is really funny. I love the idea of Voldy being an exasperated parent.I don't think that this has ever been done before. Anyway, you have me interested now, and I hope you'll continue it.

I'm George Weasley! by ravenclaw1997

Summary:

I guess you'll just have to read to find out.

~ Complete! ~

This was cute. It's a nice change from all those other stories that take place after Fred's death that show George as being really angsty. Anyway, it was more original than most traditional proposals, so good job.

Author's Response: Thank you so much! I'm glad you thought it was original; I had a hard time coming up with that. ~ Manda

Much Ado About Nothing by Argelfraster

Rated: 3rd-5th Years • Past Featured Story
Summary: It starts as a ridiculous, mostly fallacious student rumor: Filch flirting with Madam Pince in the Restricted Section. To the sex-crazed fifth years, no doubt, even the most civil conversation looks like a front for a torrid affair… not that anyone would want to imagine the dried-up librarian and the jowly grouch of a caretaker, well, doing it. Ew.

But when the rumor reaches the teachers’ lounge, closet romantics Minerva McGonagall and Charity Burbage can’t help formulating a plan. It’s about time those two got some, and they intend to make it happen. With a little help from the writings of one William Shakespeare (a very intelligent Muggle indeed) and some bribing of the castle paintings, they set out to make two people – a man in love with his cat and a woman in love with her books – fall in love with each other…

…just in time for the Yule Ball.

This is really good. I've always believed that there was something between them, even before the sixth book when Harry and Hermione joked about it. I mean, they're both student-hating rule-lovers. I've never actually read 'Much ado About Nothing', but the way you describe it makes it seem like an appropriate metaphor for them.

Author's Response: Thanks for your review! There will be more on Much Ado About Nothing later, but you don't need to have read Shakespeare to get the basic plot structure haha.

Regarding Names by Ascendio

This was really good. I especially liked the last one.

Author's Response: Thank you, thanks for reading!

Truth Indeed by Apollonious

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: When Albus Severus Potter goes into his father's office, he wants nothing more than to find a quill for his Transfiguration revision. What he finds, however, has the potential to fracture his family forever.

I don't even know why you lied...

This is Apollonious of Hufflepuff, writing for the Great Bannermakers' Hall Challenge. Banner: Truth Indeed by GinnyWeasleyPotter.

I don't really ship Harry and Hermione either, so when Al found out who Harry was actually having an affair with, I was shocked. Although I think it is highly unlikely for them to be having an affair, I think that Harry seemed in character during the exchange between him and Al. I liked this, though, it was an interesting twist.

An Epitaph - Fred Gideon Weasley by Half_BloodPrincess

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: When half of a whole is lost, how can the remainder sum up a life of laughter?
Reviewer: MagicMandy Signed
Date: 10/15/11 Title: Chapter 1: An Epitaph - Fred Gideon Weasley

I don't know about you, but I cried when Fred died. It was just so unexpected, and totally depression. I liked this oneshot. The epitaph itself was a little corny, but it was so typical of George. I liked how you explained their relationship as being two halves of a whole.

Author's Response: Yes, I can't help but cry each time I read Fred's death. It's completely heartbreaking, and I wanted to write this epitaph in the same way, but in the end I realised it wouldn't be fair to Fred to give him something serious. I always thought that Fred would rather be remembered as the funny guy he was! Thank you for the review, I'm glad you enjoyed reading this.
