I am a college student in the US. I literally grew up reading the Harry Potter series. I am hopelessly addicted to them. Most of the Sorting quizzes I've taken put me in Ravenclaw.
I love to read, write, and listen to music. Truth be told, I couldn't survive without any of those actions. They calm my scattered brain and greatly influence my obsession with exclamation points!!!
*sigh* I want to go to Paris! Excellent chapter.
=)
Author's Response: Thanks
Hmm... that last chapter was interesting! Comparing notes is a good plan! I've done it before!
Author's Response: Thanks for the review. The next chapter is the first away from Hogwarts/Hogsmeade. -N-
=)
Author's Response: (-:
Nice start! I look forward to reading the rest.
Author's Response: Thanks for the review. -N-
Oooh, Ron's in trouble! =)
Author's Response: Not as much as you think (-; -N-
Wow, that was hard to read. Your writing is great! The situation gave me that glad-it-wasn't-me feeling!
Author's Response: All relationships have their ups and downs, and this was a definite down. -N-
Grr... stupid time limits!
Author's Response: Make for great plot devices (-: -N-
Hmm... I'm beginning to like this story very much!
Author's Response: Good. I hope that you continue to enjoy the (occassionaly bumpy) ride. -N-
The gift was the exact size of a ring box from a jewellery shop. One glance at it had been enough to send a chill down Lily's spine and almost enough to make her say, "You shouldn't have." She loved James, she just wasn't ready to get married.
I don't think I'll ever be able to see the word 'scrummy' without thinking of Sirius and Rosmerta. Lol. I'm glad it wasn't an engagement ring so Lily didn't have to feel like the bad guy on Christmas. Oh, and Petunia would so pissed if she about the Felix Felicis! It seemed to work in Lily's favor, though. ;) This was a very cute little story!
Happy Writing,
GinnyPotter711
P.S. I would never have thought to look up tv listings from the 70's. I wonder if BBC America existed back then. (I'm a Doctor Who addict. Lol)
Author's Response:
Aw, thank you for saying that even though scrummy is a word that can be applied in many situations. ;) You're right, Petunia wouldn't have appreciated Lily's gift, although she benefited from it happily enough.
Google is my friend, and back then I think the only BBC shows seen in the US were shown on Public Television Stations.
YYYAAAAAAYYYYYYYYY! I love companion one-shots, and I always did wonder what-all happened! Are there anymore little excerpts like this for "As Happily Ever After as They're Going to Get"?
Author's Response: Hmmm...good question. I have part of one written, it takes place waaaaaay back in one of the earlier chapters, when Ron sneaks into Hermione's room when they are staying at Hermione's parents' house. cj
I don't know. I could think of a few professors who would still blush at that story. Excellent writing, though. I like Remus/Tonks stories.
Author's Response: Yes, it's a bit mature, but it must have happened at some point. ;) I'm glad you still enjoyed it. I appreciate the compliment - thank you for reading and for leaving a review! ~Gina :)
It's still kinda weird to see Draco and Hermione being so friendly with one another. I can almost see the foundation being poured, though. Something is definitely building. Good chapter!
Author's Response: Draco has completely changed and Hermione is already friendly by nature.... glad you liked the chapter... :)
It is a happy surprise. Harry's reaction was hilarious. I really like how supportive Ginny is, too. This story answered my question about where they live. I always wondered if the Potter took up residence at Grimmauld Place or Godric's Hollow. I would have thought they'd find a way to get rid of Mrs. Black's portrait by then. Maybe, the piece of wall she's on could be removed and replaced, or something. I don't know. Excellent chapter, though!
Author's Response:
I thought if Sirius could have found a way to get rid of his mother, he would have, so the spells keeping her "active" probably ensured if she was taken down, the house would fall too. Immured behind soundproof canvas is the next best thing.
I have a Halloween Lily and Kreacher one shot called Kreacher Feature (link hopefully in the title) I'd love you to read. I think I made a huge error posting on a Monday. Not many readers at the beginning of a school and work week.
I think the receptionist is my favorite. She has such an awesome name! And her boss is gorgeous. Lol! (Thank you, again, for that! It's nice to be namesake worthy! =D)
So, I have a feeling Harrry and Ginny are going to have steam pouring from their ears when they find out about their daughter becoming a model. Then, of course, James and Albus will have to do the protective big brother thing and start hexing people at work for staring at her. More disapproving family members! They're so much fun!
Oh, yeah, is "Lily Go Lightly" the title of the second part, or is it just similar? Looking forward to reading it, either way!
Happy Writing,
Iri (aka Iridescka or GinnyPotter711)
Author's Response:
I'm so glad you like her! May you have a boss as gorgeous, heh.
Lily Go Lightly takes place a year after this one, when she's out of school. The second part of this story will be Round Two, and I'd tell you how everyone reacts, but then I'd have to use a Memory Charm on you, and you might not remember to come back and read the second part. That's a chance I'm not willing to take, heh.
Thanks for the wonderful review! :)
