Summary: A conversation between Harry and Dudley set after 5th year.
Reviewer: The Next Dark Lord Signed
Date: 06/13/11 Title: Chapter 1: Memories

Nah, I don't think that's Dudley's worst memory. What about when he got attacked by the snake before Harry started school?

The Match by fuzzyink

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: It was Neville Longbottom’s turn with Apparation Exam, and he found himself at the Department of Mysteries. His eyes met with time turners’ shelf and wanted to examine one. He wished he could go back at time and correct his mistake about the exam. Accidently, the nervous boy had travelled to the future, the match between Harry and Voldemort. One shot.

Who's the ant/narrator?

Author's Response: Oh, I wasn't clear was I? ^^ It's an unnamed original character, someone from Ministry. I wrote this before the 6th book came out and played around some of the theories that were running about. It didn't seem necessary to give him/her any background. I almost forgot about this. Glad you cared dropping a line, brings back memories :)

The Challenge by Little Loony

Rated: Professors •
Summary: Sirius and James do a little comparing with the aid of one Remus Lupin. It is not how it seems at first.

Wow. Now I feel like I have a dirty mind.
Great ending though!

I Was A Famous Child Witch or Wizard by Burrowbrat

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: This is a spin off of the famous child star countdowns. It is the famous child witch or wizard countdown. Where are they now? What made them worthy of the countdown? Fellow witches and wizards are on hand for one-on-one interviews about the famous witches and wizards.(pre-HBP)For those that have been wondering about the sequel, info can be found on my profile page

I'm with Draco. HE SHOULD HAVE BEEN ON THE LIST!!!
#s 10, 9, 8 or Fleur/Victor could have been switched for Malfoy. 10//9/8 seemed sort of...not necessarily potential famous people, know what I mean?
Fleur/Victor could've not been in there b/c they were of age, which means they weren't that young when they competed in the Triwizard Tournament. But otherwise, I love the list!
It makes sense, and the random comments/people (i.e. the girl who wants to see Krum) are perfect.

One Will Live, One Will Die by muddy

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: A poem about Harry and Tom
Reviewer: The Next Dark Lord Signed
Date: 05/08/11 Title: Chapter 1: 1

How is Harry (I'm assuming he's the one with Heart) "the one who Flies"? Are you talking about his flying/Seeker skills?

Yay for Dramione!

You packed a lot into less than 50 words. One can tell that every word was chosen carefully.

George, Fred... I Want Your Head! by Rob Matthews

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: George and Fred are back in town for a couple of days, but although they've left their job they still have some work to do. At their arrival they have three things on their to-do list: the chance for some rest and relaxation, the time to test some new products, and most of all, an opportunity.
Reviewer: The Next Dark Lord Signed
Date: 06/04/11 Title: Chapter 1: One-Shot

I don't think that's fair of Fred and George; they cheated!
The moment Fred came in with drinks, I became suspicious.

A Conversation Between Lovers by Canis Contentis

Rated: Professors •
Summary: Three days after the final battle, two lovers share news, laughs, feelings, and more. Rated R for some language and sexual situations.
Reviewer: The Next Dark Lord Signed
Date: 10/10/11 Title: Chapter 1: One-shot

Well done. Now, about writing more...
I don't think a prequel is necessary, but I'd love to read a sequel about their child/children.
Keep on writing.

The Unexpected Gift by Accio_Brain

Rated: Professors •
Summary: It's Voldemort's birthday and Harry and Hermione have been invited to his birthday party. As the festivities commence, Voldemort makes a new friend. But things aren't always as they seem, for someone else has a plan that could make this Voldemort's worst birthday ever.
Reviewer: The Next Dark Lord Signed

This is hilarious! Wonderful!
You are so evilly funny, to come up with the possibly of Harry and Vol--I mean, You-Know-Who sleeping together! What probably really happened was that Snape and Narcissa just moved their bodies next to each other while they slept off their Firewhiskey.
If I'd known this was post-HBP, I might've guessed that Narcissa would want revenge, so it's a good you don't mention it in the beginning.
So original!

Adventures Through the Firewhisky Glass by Scheherazade

Rated: 6th-7th Years •
Summary: Just where exactly did Dumbledore go for days on end during Half-Blood Prince? Surely all that time wasn't spent just looking for Horcruxes... Though, he did mention that he occasionally stopped for drinks before searching...

This story contains two of the most unlikey drinking buddies imaginable...
Reviewer: The Next Dark Lord Signed
Date: 05/28/11 Title: Chapter 1: The Drinking Game

I'm giving you a ten, because all the fanfics I've read so far that include drinking have been funny.
And I like the Bart Simpson reference...

Frosted Living Rooms by alisonlynn

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: Fred and George try to make a gingerbread house. I believe the title speaks for itself.
Reviewer: The Next Dark Lord Signed
Date: 06/04/11 Title: Chapter 1: Frosted Living Rooms

Very cute.
I love the ending, the "million dollar question" about Twinkle's hair.
Why didn't you mention the color of Ron's bean? I'd have helped him figure it out!

The Rose Garden by helgaandgodric

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: After the tragic events in June, Pansy has been without her Draco. Six months later, on Christmas Eve Day, she hears from him again.
Reviewer: The Next Dark Lord Signed
Date: 05/25/11 Title: Chapter 1: Chapter 1

Who is the woman?
She can't be Narcissa (unless she used Polyjuice Potion).
So who is it?

To Make Stone Blush by coppercurls

Rated: 6th-7th Years • Past Featured Story
Summary: Selina, a third year Slytherin wakes up one day to discover she is bleeding. Convinced death is imminant, there is only one person she can talk to- her Head of House, Professor Snape.
Reviewer: The Next Dark Lord Signed
Date: 10/10/11 Title: Chapter 1: To Make Stone Blush

I can so relate to Selina! I used to wonder whether or not anybody whether I lived or died. I know better now, but I still remember that feeling of uselessness.

Well done, I'm adding this to my favorites. Do you think you could possibly write more about Selina?

A Quest For Ice Cream by Schmerg_The_Impaler

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: Ever wondered why Florean Fortescue was taken by the Death Eaters?

Lord Voldemort is on the quest to find the best, evilest flavour of ice cream, and he will stop at nothing to get it.

This is a very short, very silly and quite OOC little one-shot written as consolation for the fact that "E-Journal" is on hiatus. It's based on a prompt given to me by the ridiculously talented Inigoenigma.

Nominated for Best Humour fic in the Quicksilver Quills awards!

Milk Racism? AHAHAHAHAHA!!!
Vermonty Python...reference to Monty Python, mixed with a touch of Vernon Dursley?
God, this is HILARIOUS.
Please keep writing humour fics like this one.

I Like a Healthy Breeze Around My Privates, Thanks! by hestiajones

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: “Muggle women wear them, Archie, not the men, they wear this.”

Remember ol’ Archie from GOF? Well, now you’ll know why he refused to give up his flowery gown for a pair of trousers.

Written for the April Fool Challenge at the beta boards. Nominated for a QSQ in the Best Humour category. :D Many thanks to Rachel (lily_evans34) for her help with Latin.

DISCLAIMER: This is not J.K.Rowling, though characters you recognize and story premises belong to her.

Until Death (Eaters) Do Us Part by Equinox Chick

Rated: 6th-7th Years •
Summary: Draco Malfoy stood in front of the mirror and studied his reflection closely. Flicking some invisible dust off his shoulder, Draco was satisfied. He knew he looked the part; it was just that the guests didn’t know which part he was playing.

Draco Malfoy is about to get married. The wedding has been planned for months, a union between the class of the Malfoys and the new money of his bride. His parents are delighted.

But Draco, possibly for the first time in his life, is about to defy them.

I am Equinox Chick of Hufflepuff and this is my entry in The Weddings Challenge - category Surprise Wedding - in the Great Hall Challenge.

Thank you so much to Natalie (hestiajones) for beta'ing this story in record time.

Disclaimer: I am not JK Rowling. I'd love to be, but alas, she has far more talent.

I LOVE IT! Very romantic and funny, at times. Love it, love it, love it!

Author's Response: Thank you very much. Glad you enjoyed the story. This started a bit of an obsession with Draco and Astoria. You might like 'In the Stars' which features them. It's not compliant with this, but it has a similar feel. Thanks again ~Carole~

Mere Wisps of Light by Equinox Chick

Rated: 6th-7th Years •
Summary: It is Christmas Eve 1998, and the Magical World is shakily celebrating the first Christmas since Voldemort’s defeat.

For one, though, there is no reason to celebrate. Draco Malfoy sits alone in his room refusing to join his parents as they try to regain their social standing.

He does not want to see another Christmas, but he reckons without a redoubtable figure from his past.

My name is Equinox Chick from Hufflepuff, and this story has been written for prompt four of the Great Hall Christmas Challenge over at the MNFF Beta Boards.

Thank you to Natalie for a quick beta job on this – anything to get her away from Rabelais, I guess.

Disclaimer: I am not JK Rowling. Her lawyers agree, so please don’t confuse us.

Aww...
I love the way you made Draco realize how he had to change. It was very original, but not the first time that I've seen something like this.

I liked the plot twist of Draco being in love with Charity Burbage...I didn't expect that at all! Yet when I read that part, it made sense.

And then you led it to Draco being "interested" (but not completely falling in love) in Astoria. Well done, well done.

Overall, I loved this story, and hope to write one as wonderful (but different, I'm a sucky romance writer) as this someday.

Author's Response: Oh ... he wasn't in love with Charity. They kissed but it was more because they needed each other at that moment. I doubt Draco had loved anyone except his Mum before then. He fancied Hermione, but couldn't admit that. Thank you for the review, I'm glad you enjoyed it.~Carole~

Prefect Paralysed by ToBeOrNotToBeAGryffindor

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: On her first night of patrol, Molly Weasley was armed with the basic rules of how to be a prefect, but one guideline had been woefully omitted from the list: what to do when a handsome delinquent robbed her of her ability to think.
Reviewer: The Next Dark Lord Signed
Date: 05/10/11 Title: Chapter 1: Chapter 1

Great job! Now I think I'm more in love with Scorpius than with Draco! Well done, well done!
I liked the way you listed the rules just as Molly broke them. It emphasized the, er, not seriousness, but the um, the something of the situation. I hope you know what I mean.
Funny, now I don't know if Scorpius snogs every girl he likes or if he was snogging Molly just to get out of trouble. *detention*

Author's Response:

I normally portray Scorpius as an all right kind of guy, but for one moment, I wanted him to be the sort of jerk playboy that Draco could only dream of being. Molly just ended up being collateral damage in that escapade.

And yes, he so kissed her to get out of trouble. He is so very, very Slytherin. :D

Forever France by Equinox Chick

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: This was a war she'd had little part in. But her duty lay towards her husband and her adopted country.

How does Fleur Weasley feel when she's departing for battle?

This poem was written for The Copycat Challenge on the MNFF beta forums. The idea was to take inspiration from a favourite poem. I chose The Soldier by Rupert Brooke.

Disclaimer: I am not JK Rowling or Rupert Brooke (who died far too young in a foreign land).

It's nice to see Fleur in a nice light, especially after the Half-Blood Prince. (Phlegm)

Author's Response: I like Fleur and think a lot of the bad feeling towards her was caused by jealousy, so when I get the chance to write something more sympathetic, then I take it. Thanks for the review. ~Carole~

Last Moments (Ends With You) by Eleanor Lupin

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: A lament for two lovers who died side by side in the most horrific war in wizarding history.

Aw....

Author's Response: Thank you!
