Yes, I'm marrianna and this is my little spot on Mugglenet. Well, I love to write and am acutely obbessed with Harry Potter.

After the many pleads I have gotten for second chapters, let me put this up: I usually only just write one-shots. I find that if I try and write a longer story I get bored with it or don't have the time to continue it. Thus, I don't put out my best work and while I feel obligated to continue I end up hating the story. Some day, when I'm out of school and the daily stresses of my life, I will sit down and write a novel length fiction. I would truly love too. But at the moment my free time is scarce. But thank you so much to all you people out there who care enough to ask for more. I really truly appriciate it. It's people like you who encourage me to go on writing!

Sorry if this got a little lengthy, but I felt I owed you all an explanation to my lack of longer stories.

Please review, not just for me but for all the other stories you fall in love with. You might never know how much you have affect an author, but trust me: you have.

Thanks so much again! God bless!

Just Right by Sandy Phoenix

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: Why is Ginny in the library, alone, on a lovely evening? Why is she agreeing to spend her last Hogsmeade weekend with a pregnant cat? Why is she eating enough chocolate to take care of dementors for miles around? Why did her feet just disappear? Never mind. Whatever, the reason, it is just right.

Wow. This was so cute! I love the idea of the "breathing experiments", that's so creative. Please write more.

Here at the End of All Things by Ella Norman

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: *one-shot* The Final Battle. Ron never thought he would hear those words, nor live to see the days in which it would come. It had come, and he fighting it, his Hermione, his love, alongside him. He loved her more than life, and she was his all. ___________________________________________________________________ I must say, I'm quite proud of this one. Well-worth the time it takes to read. Please R&R. PG-13 for the heaviness of the situation.

Wow! I love this story. It's warm, emotional, and tragic all rolled in one. You have a great sense of what might happen during the Final Battle and made it come very alive for me. Excellent job.

Author's Response: I like to state my opinions openly, and I'm thrilled that I made the story really come alive. That's one of my own favorite qualities in a story, and I'm glad that some think that I possess it. :)

Just in Case by LaraAnn

Well, I was feeling kind of down today, so I was trying to find a short little romance story and poof this one shows up. I'm so glad I found this, it made me smile. Thank you for writing such a cute little fic.

Very nice. I like how you had Harry kill Voldemort. There are too many stories were it gets kind of cheesy, but yours is believable. Good job.

Author's Response: not chessy? really? that's great, thanks for that!

When All is Said and Done by Liisa

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: What would happen when it's all over? And who would be left to bare it? Slightly Hr/R & H/G. Sequel to "Watching Us".

Well that just wrenched my heart out and threw it on the ground. I could tell that was very heartfelt and even though it was dark, there was a sense of peace in it to, that just because so many of the ones that he loved are dead, life still goes on. Great work.

Author's Response: wow, this story is affecting people a lot more than I thought it would, btu I guess that's great :) That's what I was shooting for and I'm glad you felt it!

That was so cute! I loved all the emotion we felt from Ginny's anguish at not knowing how Harry felt about her, and the pure joy that comes from the end and they are united. Well done.

Aww! That was so cute, and very creative if I might add. I like how Molly is trying to secretly set up her children with who she likes. Nice job.

Belonging to Bellatrix by Fantasium

Rated: 3rd-5th Years • Past Featured Story
Summary: “Behind every great man stands a great woman.” But what happens when the roles change? What is life like to a man who must live in the shadow of his wife? A wife who is neither great nor good, but wicked and cruel, and who only exists to serve her master… One-shot, written pre-HBP.

Wow. That was amazing. You portrayed Bellatrix and all the insanity and evilness that is like an aura surronding her. It was also fascinating to see a perspective on her husband. JKR has him stuffed into the background by his controlling and charismatic wife. The language you displayed and the description was fantastic. I could easily feel his despair and see the dark scene through your use of rhetorical devices. Over all, this is a very unique and promising one-shot. I'm exceedingly glad I came across this story. Well done.

Everybody Does It by Grimmrook

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: *Runner Up in the 2006 Annual Quicksilver Quills Awards for Best Dark/Angsty*

It's the one thing everyone must do. You can't avoid it, you can't bargain with it, you just do it. It hurts sometimes, hell, it hurts most of the time, but it's also the most natural thing in the world. One of those rare things that makes us human.

This story is included in the Epilogues story arc, however it is a side story that can be read at just about any time. it is most favorable, however, to wait until reading Epilogues Part I for certain thematic reasons.

Wow. This is an absolutely beautiful story. Rarely do I cry while reading, but I had to fight off the tears that were quickly pooling in my eyes as I continued reading. You have done a remarkable job capturing the love and emotion that simply radiates from this story. Wonderful, wonderful job.

Author's Response: Okay, I\'m getting really really I don\'t know emotional over this. This has been the closest story to me from the moment I wrote it. It\'s easily the one thing I\'ve written in fanfiction I\'m most proud of, followed by epilogues Part I. But despite that, the initial response to the story was a little disappointingly small. That\'s to say that you can write stuff that you know people will like, and have it not mean much to you, and the result is that you can let the public response just slide off your back. But when you seriously put some soul into something, you know, it\'s pretty nerve wracking. I\'ve only gotten a very small handful of bad reviews to this story in the places I\'ve posted it (okay one outright bad review, a couple of mixed). But at the same time, the total number of reviews were small. So it was a little disappointing, but in the end i kind of just coped with the idea that okay, it wasn\'t going to go very far, but it\'ll be alittle piece of something that I\'ll just keep for me, or something like that. And then it picks up a nomination for the QQ\'s... And that led to someone else reading and another nomination, and then you come along read and review and nominate as well and I have to tell you that it\'s just an overwhelming thing completely. Here\'s something I thought was just going to go quietly away, and now it\'s starting to get some attention and it\'s just amazing. Thank you ever so much, you have no idea how much the attention you\'ve given this story means to me. I am truly touched that this has gotten an emotional response from you and everyone else who has read and been touched. As I kind of mentioned above, I really put a lot of my soul into it, and that meant lots of stretches writing as quicly as I could before I was overwhelmed with tears, and then stopping for a day or two to recover, and then diving back in. So thank you ever so much, truly.

No More Waiting by Sly Severus

Rated: Professors •
Summary: As she awaits death, Bellatrix finds herself being faced with memories and realities that she was not at all prepared to deal with.

Excerpt: The ever present darkness remained with her, but of course it did. Her vision was gone. She would see nothing but darkness for the rest of her days. This was something she had grown to accept. She had also grown to accept the constant gnawing in her stomach and weakening of her body because she always refused food. There was no reason to eat. Everyone, herself included, would be better off when she was dead.

This is an off-shot of Blinded. I recommend reading it first.

This is very well written! You very clearly portray Bellatrix's despair guilt even provoking the reader to almost pity her, which in and of itself is a prestigious accomplishment. Wonderful job.

Author's Response: *squees* Thank you so much. I\'m really glad you liked it. And thanks so much for leaving a review!
