I love your Scorpius! He's like his dad in so many ways - but he seems like he's going to be kinder. Glad we got to see more of James; I like Alphie too! Intrigued to read more about Tristan's past! Update soon :)

I like the story so far! Will there be more James Potter in it later? Keep up the good work!

Author's Response: Yes, James will feature quite heavily in parts of this story later on - and his friends as well! I'm glad you're enjoying it and thanks for the review!

Aw! Good chapter! I love the teasing/brotherly love relationship between Albus and James and Lily is really sweet - stubborn like her mum! Can't wait for the next chapter :)

I really enjoyed this chapter. Are they going to have more lessons with the Slytherins soon? I'm intrigued to see more of Scorpius Malfoy! Keep up the good work :)

Author's Response: The most recent chapter was a Slytherin-orientated chapter and you'll see much more of Scorpius and friends later on in the fic! Thanks for the review :)

Someone Like You by Alice Mac

Rated: 3rd-5th Years • Past Featured Story
Summary: I hate to turn up out of the blue uninvited

But I couldn't stay away - I couldn't fight it

I hoped you'd see my face and that you be reminded

That for me, it isn't over yet

Neville Longbottom is newly married; finally has a job that he's passionate about and, against all the odds, is finally happy.

He hasn't thought about her for months now. But then she comes back to remind him that he was happy once before - a long, long time ago.

That was so sweet! I'm a big fan of this ship too and I really think you did it justice :) I read your other fic Albus Potter and the Midnight Thief, so I thought I'd check out some of your other stuff and this caught my eye. I really felt for Luna at the end and I think you matured Neville well without compromising the Neville of the books - great job!

The Institute of Marriage by Half_BloodPrincess

Rated: 3rd-5th Years • Past Featured Story
Summary: For many, marriage proclaims love, for others, it shows pain.

That was really well written and a powerful chapter. I'm guessing it's a one-shot (though it doesn't say 'complete'). The ending was so sad and poignant - I loved it. You conveyed Hermione's feelings towards him really well and his pleas for forgiveness and apologies were so sad. Well done!

Author's Response: Thank you for the review, I'm glad you liked this! This is a one shot, thanks for pointing out my mistake, I'll just be fixing that soon. I personally love Hermione and Draco together, but find it difficult to believe that their relationship would work without a major AU event. Thanks again for the review!

Teenage Kicks by Alice Mac

Rated: 6th-7th Years •
Summary: Aged sixteen, their parents were being relentlessly pursued by Voldemort and attempting to deliver the Wizarding World from an evil tyrant. They fought against far older and more experienced wizards to bring about their victory and create a safer world for their children; to give them the normal childhoods they were deprived of.

Aged sixteen, their children are fighting, but against themselves. They battle against their own self-destructive nature and their foreign, inexplicable feelings. They wrestle with the pressures of friendships, family, relationships and work. They fight to keep secrets buried and to keep their friendships once the secrets are revealed.

Whoever said 'normal' was easy?

Wow Alice, I really like this! I follow your fic Albus Potter and the Midnight Thief, and I stumbled upon this - it's really good! It's nice seeing them when they're all grown up. We haven't seen too much of Morgana in your other Next Generation fic, but I hope we see more cause I really like her in this!! Update soon please :)

Rediscovering Old Skills by Soap

Rated: Professors •
Summary: Ron and Hermione's marriage ends in failure. Hermione is resigned to the fate of her relationship with him, and attempts to find some independence and rekindle her Dumbledore's Army skills through a series of self defense classes. But she runs into her old Hogwarts nemesis, how will her romantic life take a different turn? How will her friends and family react?

And how will a distant and aloof Draco Malfoy learn to love and trust with Hermione's help?

Rated Professors for sexual situations. The story is mostly Deathly Hallows compliant, even considering the epilogue.

I've just caught up with your fic and I've really enjoyed it so far - this chapter in particular! I thought the way Draco passed his test was very clever and I like the whole idea of the self-defence classes: it's quite original.

How many chapters do you have planned left? I can't wait to read more :D ~ Sam

Their Affliction by Alice Mac

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: Love - that's what Albus thinks sets us apart. The ability to love and the power that it gives you.

I disagree: I think it's hate. Hate is pure, fierce and unyielding. It courses through you like fire and invests you with its strength. Hate guards you from other people - it protects you. If all you feel is hate, you have nothing to lose. You are untouchable.

Love drains you. It forces you to care about others and their welfare and if they are harmed...well, then it brings grief, anguish and pain that rivals any curse. Love reels you in with its sweetness, comfort and passion and then destroys you with its absence. It is crueller than any curse. It is the Gryffindor affliction.

Wow, Alice - that was really powerful! I know we know the outcome of that night, but not from Voldemort's point of view and it was a good interpretation of what he might have thought at the time. I particularly liked the last part with him and Harry; 'you could have been great' was rather ironic!

I did think, at times, Voldemort's observations were a bit too keen (decoration of their house, neighbours flowers etc.) and perhaps Voldemort's insight into lily's feeling was a touch too astute, but maybe that's just me.

Overall, I think this is very well done - good job :D
