I'm 21 years old, born and raised in Michigan, USA. Harry Potter's been in my life ever since I was 8. I accidentally started by reading Prisoner of Azkaban first. Whoops. My dad corrected me before I got too far, though.
I'm a fourth year English major, and I love fanfiction because it sharpens my writing skills, and of course, because I love Harry! I started doing it in the summer of 2011. I wrote my fanfictions in this order:
The First Howl
A Werewolf at Hogwarts
From Opposite Sides / Ways To Say Goodbye
Merry-Go-Round
My top five characters are Lupin, Hermione, Neville, Luna, and those hilarious Weasley twins. I can relate to Lupin and Luna the most, which is why I honored them in my pen name.
My favorite couple by far is Remus & Tonks, although Tonks' parents (Ted and Andromeda) have really grown on me, since I wrote their story. And I may or may not think that Hermione would've been better with Harry... Favorite couple that never happened? Neville and Luna!
You'll notice pretty quickly that the music I love inspires me in every way, whether it's chapter names or a sample of lyrics that go perfectly with the story. I'm also really inspired by the books I read, but If you ask me what they are, prepare for a long list :) It includes the Hunger Games trilogy and a load of books by Scott Westerfeld.
Thank you so much for letting me share my writing on here! Reviews are much appreciated.
I loved the humor you put in there. Really nice story so far, and I think Ariel's one great character. It'll be fun to see where it goes!
Author's Response: Thank you so much for being my first reviewer! I'm glad you enjoyed the first chapter. I hope I can update soon. Once again, thanks!
I used to pretend that I was Harry's long-lost sister when I was little! Heehee. It's nice to finally meet her :) Great job. Keep writing.
Author's Response: Hahaha, I did that too! Only when I was little, because I was sooo creative, I called myself Harriet, Harry's sister. Anyway, the next chapter is in the queue, so you shouldn't have to wait too long.
Grace is very nice. And the way you wrote Remus & Tonks' wedding was just how it should be :) I like that Grace has been involved with all our favorite characters, and you fit her into their lives really well!
Author's Response: Thank you! And I'm glad, I enjoyed writing it a lot. Tonks and Remus are such fun to write, and trying to incooperate their very different personalities into a wedding was challenging and fun.
Unfortunately, this happiness isnt to last. Are you suprised?
Thanks for the review, means a lot. Next chapter will be heading your way soon!
You’ll never know
If you never try
To forgive your past
And simply be mine
I dare you to let me be your
Your one and only*
After Tonks’s declaration of love to Remus in the hospital wing, can she win him over, or will his doubts get in the way?

Written for the Ravenclaw Drabble Exchange. My recipient was the lovely Alex/Ithinkrabis2people. I hope you like it :)
I think this is exactly the kind of reaction both of them would have, and it's probably close to what J.K. Rowling was thinking. I just love how many different ways people can write about them in fan fiction (myself included, of course!), and you wrote about them very well :)
Author's Response:
Hiya! First, thank you so much for the review. This is definitely one of my more underreviewed stories >.>
I'm so glad you liked it :) This story gave me a lot of grief, mainly because it was Remus/Tonks and I had never written the pairing before despite having read quite a few stories featuring them. But I have wondered quite a bit as to what went on between them after the incident in the hospital wing, so I'm very flattered that you think it's possibly close to what JKR was thinking. I hope so, lol.
Thank you again for the review, and I hope to see you around!

I loved seeing Hermione as she was before Hogwarts, and it's nice that she met a boy who she can relate to. I bet she sensed that she wasn't normal for a long time before she found out about being a witch! And this makes me wonder what Jamie will think of her when things change. Great story so far.
Author's Response: I'm glad you enjoyed it! I have plans for the revelation of her witchiness (is that a word?) which shall be revealed at a later date, but yes, I did like creating a person so separate from the magical world. I feel like we hardly know anything about Hermione - certainly least of the trio in terms of background - and I always wondered why she never told Harry and Ron about it. That's what inspired me to write this fic, I suppose :)
I love Sirius and Andromeda. Since she's not mentioned much in the books (we only meet her once!), I didn't realize how close she would be with her cousin. You wrote such a great story, and around a great time of year, too :)
Great job! Since, as far as we know, Remus didn't really have anyone until Tonks, and Sirius never married, it makes sense that people pair them together. Remus would do something like write a secret owl... Oh, and what a coincidence that you mentioned my pen name in there :)
I love Andromeda because she makes the right choice, all because of Ted :) Great writing!
This is Eleanor Lupin of Hufflepuff writing for the Great Hall Cotillion!
I love Ted and Andromeda's story, which is why I also wrote a fanfic for them. You did such a great job of describing how she felt around him. I love what you did with their first kiss, too. Keep on writing!
Author's Response: Ted and Andromeda do have a great love story that you can go virtually wherever you want with, it's really fun to right. I'm glad a fellow Ted/Andromeda fan liked it, thanks for reviewing!
This is Eleanor Lupin writing for the Great Hall Cotillion!
I never would've thought to pair these two together, but love can be unpredictable. You made it so realistic. I felt terrible for Narcissa :( Great job!
Author's Response: Thank you so much! I'm glad it felt real, and yeah, poor Narcissa.
