Just a writer who loves Harry Potter. And the Marauders. And Sirius. :) I was with Harry since the beginning and I'm planning on sticking with him till the end, even if that means making up my own stories to tell.
It’s New Year’s Eve, and it’s the Potters’ turn to host this year’s party. Lily Luna Potter, however, has no idea that they are trying to set her up with a certain someone, despite the fact that Lily already has that certain someone, though her family doesn't know that...
This is babewithbrains of Ravenclaw, writing for the Great Hall-iday Challenge 2011, Prompt Three -- Operation: Mistletoe.
Let me start out by saying I loved it, the pairing was so strange (for me at any rate) but I absolutley adored it. At first I was ready to stop reading, thinking that Lily's boyfriend was actually Scorpius, and me, being me, hate that. Rose&Scorpius is my favorite pairing (apart from James&Lily of course) but when she said Louis I was very curious. Thanks for the wonderful story and please write a sequel. :D
Author's Response:
Hello! Thank you so much for the wonderful review. I'm so glad you enjoyed it -- this is definitely one of my better-received stories, hehe. The pairing could definitely be described as strange, and unconventional, and to some, squicky, but after writing the story, it's become my OTP :D So I hope it was convincing for you :)
I'm not really a fan of Scorpius/Lily myself, though I have read some excellent Scily stories nevertheless (High by Equinox Chick, Though The Heavens Fall by welshdevondragon and Let Justice Be Done by welshdevondragon). I definitely recommend them to you, because they are all very well-written and convincing despite me being more of a Scorose shipper, like you :) In fact, if you'd like to read a Scorose story by me, well, it's called Blood and Roses.
Anyway, pimping aside, thank you for the review, and I'm really happy that you loved the story because this is the first story in ages that I've actually been more than semi-satisfied with. I'm thinking of writing a sequel, yes. Possibly with some Scorose in it XD

I didn't like it... I loved it. :) At first I sighed thinking it was poetry, I'm always wanting more in poetry you see, but I was satisfied. I always wanted to see everyone's reaction to 'dead Harry' before they see he is still alive. I think you captured it perfectly. I especially liked Neville's POV.
Author's Response: Wow . . . thank you so much for the review. Poetry does leave a lot to thought, but I'm glad you were happy with it. I have always wondered about what Harry's death did to his friends emotionally, because I know that if it was my best friend laying there that I would be crushed. Also, isn't Neville great? I think he's underrated. :)
Thank you so much for the review

I love all of your work - especially these two. And I know this is a sequel, but is there any chance you'll give this sequel a sequel so we can see if James heals?
Author's Response: Thank you so much for the review. :)
I have had an idea running through my head about yet another companion piece, but I don't want to overdue it. If I don't, be assured that things will eventually look up for James . . . but it'll be hard. The Cruciatus Curse basically destroyed the nerves in James's legs, so it's highly unlikely he'll be able to walk unaided, or even walk period.
While I mull this over, I have a bunch of other things I'm thinking about posting. :) Thanks again for the review!

I really, really loved it. These two are one of my favorite pairings but I find it hard to find a good fic of them because sometimes their characters just seem off. I think you did a fantastic job with the characters and I loved them both. Rose reminded me a bit of Luna, which was a side of her I've never thought of but thoroughly enjoyed. Keep the stories coming - and would it be too much of me to ask for a sequel? I would quite like to see Ron's reaction at having a Malfoy over for dinner. ;)
Argh, I just love this story. And all your stories to be perfectly honest. I don't know why it has taken me so long to give ya a review - so for that I apologize. Anyways, this is such fun to read and I cannot wait for the next chapter. And I'm sorry, but I momentarily wanted to kill you for (almost) killing off James. -_-
Author's Response: Thank you so much for reviewing! It's always so, so nice to know someone is reading and enjoying my stories. I'm glad you had fun reading it because I've had a blast writing it. Got you on James, didn't I? But wait--there is still one more chapter! Who knows, maybe I'll add an AU tag! ;) Shouldn't be long, and I do hope you enjoy the rest. Thanks again for reviewing! ~Gina :)
