To whoever wants to read this, I can tell you that I'm a human. I'm hopelessly addicted to Harry Potter, and have been for a long time, I think that explains my annoying presence.

I find it harder to read and write non-canon fics.

I love writing, so I'm giving a stab at writing fanfic, and I can now say that I appreciate all of the authors on here about a gazillion times more. :P I hope that somebody will enjoy my work, but critique away! :D :D :D

I couldn't tell that this was difficult for you. Very well written, but I have one suggestion. When Albus goes into his memories, it might be useful to have some kind of indication, like a line or something, 'cause that was sorta confusing.

The whole cousin relationship thing still kinda weirds me out, but this was so easy to believe. I love the Scorpious reference. :P I think I'll go and check out some of your other stuff now. :D :D :D

Author's Response: Hello! Thank you so much for the review. I'm really glad you liked it, and usually, the stories I find most difficult are the ones that are well-received, so it's wonderful to know that this is the case here :) Okay, I know what you mean about the memories, but I did try to use the pluperfect tense ("had had") to indicate it. I didn't think italics were right here, especially as the two flashbacks are probably too long for the eyes, if you know what I mean. And a line would probably disrupt things more :-/ I will work on that, though, so ta.

I know it's a bit weird, thinking of Albus and Rose like that, but I personally am slightly obsessed with cousin pairings. My OTP, for example, is Louis/Lily. I do hope you check out my author page, as I've written quite a variety of stories lately, so I would love to know what you think -- if you do pay me a visit, I would be so grateful for a review. But anyway, thank you for this review, and I hope you don't mind my rambling response too much. :P

This was just as good as Sapphires- I love how this turned out. Poor Albus, though. One big misunderstanding.
I love how the Zabini's ended up, but I have to say, none of these mini-stories have truly happy endings. :P
Will you guys consider writing expanded stories for each one? Either way, I loved the endings, and keep up the good work! :D :D :D

Author's Response:
Pooja - Yay! I'm so glad you liked how we rounded this off! Yeah, well, I felt bad for Albus too but Nadia was the evil one with her Albus and her Skandar Keynes *grins*. Well, we'd expand the stories, but these really don't have very big or strong plots for that. It will just become unnecessarily boring-- especially as we've wrapped up all four of them and you already know what happens. Thank you sooo much for the wonderful review, and for sticking with us through both the stories! We have a chaptered fic coming up soon (next-gen), if you're interested. Thank you!
Nadia - Yayayay thank you! And for some reason I love torturing Al. In my mind he's Skandar Keynes, and looking at his role as Edmund in Narnia, Skandar is the perfect angst material, lol. He's so awesome *heart*. He has this tortured look and that's why I think he's perfect for Al the way I write him. Hehe. I'm glad you liked what we did with the Zabinis - I've always wondered what Mrs Zabini's back story would be like and I used this opportunity in the best way I could. And yes, you're right: none of them have happy endings. Angst is my favourite genre, so most of my recent stories usually have either sad/bittersweet endings :). Thank you once again for the lovely review! You are awesome. *heart*

For Him by Gmariam

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: As an older, wiser Remus Lupin returns to school on the Hogwarts Express, he meets a memory from his past: his best friend's son. And he realizes that he now has a second chance to protect Harry from whatever harm the recently escaped Sirius Black may intend.
Reviewer: HumanHorcrux Signed

Oh. So good... :D
I'd always imagined that Lupin wasn't really asleep on that ride. :P This was fantastically (if that's a word) awesomely (please forgive my word-making-up tendencies) powerful. I really liked it, the last 2 paragraphs made an especially strong statement.
Keep up the good work! :D :D :D

Author's Response: Thank you so much! I'm so glad you enjoyed it. Thank you for the lovely compliments! ~Gina :)

Sad, but written very well. :D I love the ending, and the "Take me" resonates elegantly. You can really see the story unfolding. :) Good job! :D :D :D

Author's Response: Thank you! I always found the words that Harry remembers from his mother's demise to be heartbreaking, and I just had to use them to show Lily's devotion to her family. I am so happy to receive your review! :)

Killers by Northumbrian

Rated: 6th-7th Years •
Summary:
Tom and Camelia are two people in search of something unobtainable, and each is prepared to kill to achieve their goal. For both, murder is simply the means to an end. For both, their victims are unimportant; they are merely collateral damage in the quest to live forever. What happens when two very different killers meet?

This is Northumbrian of Ravenclaw House writing for Round Three of the 2012 Character Triathlon.

Date: 08/28/12 Title: Chapter 1: Killers

Fantastic! This has very ominous overtones, and was definately enjoyable.
I can see Tom Riddle seeking any way to gain immortality, but he is/was naive.
This was very striking- will there be a sequel? I look forward to whatever you write next! :D :D :D

Author's Response: Thanks for the review.
The idea behind this story has been lurking for some time. Tom Riddle must have looked at a number of possibilities. Trying to create a philosopher's stone would be an alternative, but we know that he had no compunction about killing.
No sequel, not exactly, but the world has not heard the last of Camelia Tepes. :-) Next, a James S Potter one shot, and after that, Hunters and Prey.

Is there another chapther to come? I love the ending- a look at the later Potters. :D :D :D

Author's Response: Thank you.
Annie really came alive for me as I wrote this.
There will be another chapter, simple because although word tells me this is a one-shot of 9944 words, the site tells me that the story breaks the 10,000 word chapter limit.

Little Angel Wings by Ginny Weasley Potter

Rated: 6th-7th Years • Past Featured Story
Summary: Ron and Hermione have a normal married life, complete with the good and bad moments: they have the small fights, the passionate kisses and every other thing that a normal marriage consists of. They can handle anything together and a slightly sick son is no problem at all.

But then it becomes a big problem. Hugo is not just ‘slightly sick’ anymore. He has something bigger and much worse than anything Ron or Hermione could ever imagine. And that is when the normalcy of their marriage truly begins to be tested as their ‘small fights’ no longer remain so.

Will they get out of this without any permanent damage, and most importantly, will they get out of it with two children instead of just one?

This is Ginny Weasley Potter of Hufflepuff house writing for the ‘Bonded’ prompt of the Great Hall chapter challenge. Nominated for the 2013 QSQ awards in the best canon romance catergory!

I love reading this, and your take on Wizarding medicine fits well into canon. The tension is enough to drive me crazy, but this is so realistic that I'm not complaining. :D

Keep up the good work, I can't wait for whatever comes next! (But poor Hugo, don't hurt him too much.)

Author's Response: Oooh, whopeee! Yay! I love it when someone says the medical part is good, because it makes me more confident about my career. And the tension drove ME crazy. It really did. I wouldn't blame you to go crazy. :) I'm glad you find it realistic though! Chapter 8 is now in queue, so I guess you'll just have to wait for a couple of days now! :) Thank you!

Wow, I can't wait for more- this is really good, and realistic. I can see how that after the Battle, St. Mungo's would adopt some more Mugglelized ways.

Ron and Hermione are ridiculously well written, and the kids are as well. I love seeing old characters pop up now and then, like Terry Boot. :D

You just seem to get better and better with every story. Keep up the good work! :D :D :D

Author's Response: I am working on more and hope to get it to you soon. :) I'm glad you think Ron and Hermione are being realistic, and hope they don't get boring. :p Awh, and you like the characterisation? Reviewer: HumanHorcrux Signed
Date: 10/18/12 Title: Chapter 4: I Care, You Know

This is very well written. It's completely believable and it's quite sad. Families get torn apart because of the stress, and you're portraying it very well.

Ron and Hermione are in character, which is surprisingly hard! This is one of the most accurate portrayals of them that I've ever read. I hope for the sake of them that Hugo having cancer doesn't tear them apart.

I look forward to the next chapters! :D :D :D

Author's Response: I am so glad you're finding this believable! I was getting worried that they might get unreasonable, but then I realised that they ARE supposed to be a little unreasonable, or they would not be Ron and Hermione. :D

Speaking of which, I squeed when you said you liked the characterisation! They are hard, because we don't see them much as a proper couple, or as parents in the book. But Hugo's cancer is something that I could foresee as a cause for the stress.

The next chapter has arrived from my Beta, and I will update it in an hour or so. Thank you for the review! It made my month! :D

I think this is awesome! Two fantastic writers rolled into one. :D I was looking forward to this one- Sapphires and Rubies give any hints? :P
What year is Dom in? Will there be many more cousin-ly appearances?
I really like that "Uncle Neville's" daughter is called Alice and is Rose's best friend.
Keep up the good work!

Author's Response:
Pooja: Ooh, I've never had a reader actually look forward for one of my fics and I'm blushing right now. :) I'm so glad you liked S/R, and are enjoying this now. :) Nadia and I decided on seventh year for Dom. And there will be other cousinly appearances. You don't know how much. :P And the Alice thing was Nadia's lovely idea. I just stuck with it. :) Thank you for that lovely review!
Nadia Yay thank you so much *blushes furiously*. your review made me squee. I'm glad you liked that I named Neville's daughter Alice; Neville really loved his mother and he was very emotionally attached to her, despite her condition. This made me think he'd want to name his daughter after her, so I went along with it =). And in the matter of cousin-ly appearances... no comment! =P. I do hope that you'll continue reading and that we live up to your expectations. Thank you so, so much for the lovely review! :D

The Autumn Air by Nagini Riddle

Written for the Boggart Challenge in the Great Hall
Reviewer: HumanHorcrux Signed
Date: 09/21/12 Title: Chapter 1: The Autumn Air

I love this- perfectly angsty and resolved. I was wondering if you'd think that Lily's boggart would also be James dead later (something like Mrs. Weasley's)? or if it would stay on just Harry? same for James, but only if the boggart would become Harry or Sirius or Remus or Peter. I think that Lily and James's boggarts are very well chosen, either way- it says a lot about them.

One spelling nitpick- '“It’ll be aright, Lily."' should be alright, correct?

Very good job, I'll be looking forward to whatever you have next! :D :D :D

Author's Response: Wow! Thank you so much for your wonderful review! I'm so glad you liked it. I'm sure it would have later become a dead James, but I didn't want to drag out the scene! :)

World Enough by Willow Rosenberg

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: The Marauders have left school behind them just as war has fallen across the Wizarding World at last--quiet and invisible, but war nonetheless. And on the front lines is this small group of young Hogwarts graduates who have moved from pranking battles to something far more serious.

In this third and final installment to the James and Lily story begun in “Trickster” and “Stars Apart,” the Marauders join their friends in the Order as a part of what feels more and more like a fight they have no chance of winning. In the middle of it all, love grows and friendships break, trust forms and wavers, and warriors who are barely more than children must learn not only how to fight but what they are fighting for.

Wow, wonderful. A great start to the end of a fantastic series! I love how everything just ties together so perfectly, and while the death of J/L's parents is sad, it also sets the mood perfectly- as James and Sirius said, they are all orphans now.

This is going to be great, and I can't wait for the next update! :D :D :D

Author's Response: thanks :) i'm pretty excited to write this one. aiming for weekly updates right now, so the next chapter'll be in queue by the weekend!
