Hey ya'll. :) My name's Jesse, I'm 14, and I love to write. I mostly stick to canon pairs; Hinny, Romione, the type. (except in the case of Neville and Luna, I write them married. )

When Worlds Collide by jenny b

Rated: 6th-7th Years • Past Featured Story
Summary:

Rose was a Weasley. She never gave Scorpius Malfoy a second glance. They were sworn enemies, even though they’d barely even spoken to each other. But sometimes all it takes for love to blossom is a Potions lesson, a few snide remarks and a dropped book.

Two people. Two entirely different worlds that are suddenly intertwined.

I think your writing is fantastic, but I'm kind of confused. Is it a re-write of the 7th book? And if it is, I've noticed that you kind of skimmed over some of the parts of HBP, like with Snape being their DADA professor. Otherwise it's fantastic. XD

Author's Response: Firstly, thank you so much! I'm really flattered *blushing*. Secondly, as to your confusion: this story was begun before DH had been released. DH came out, I didn't write any more for AGES, and eventually I overhauled the thing a bit and finished it off. So it has bits from 7 in it, like calling Bill and Fleur's house "Shell Cottage", but mostly it's what my guess at book 7 was before it was out. As for HBP and Snape, I'm not sure what you mean. Do you mean Snape's kind of AWOL from this story? Because, yeah. Kind of a massive flaw. I'm hoping to remedy it in the sequel, which will hopefully start being posted in the summer. Thank you so much for taking the time to talk to me :) It really does help. I'm planning on tidying this thing up at some point, so all reveiws and comments on this really help. Also, sorry for the slow response. I only just got my internet access back :) HK

Erk. Goyle died in the seventh book, I think. When they were in the Room of Requirement and he started the Fiend Fyre or however you spell that? I might be wrong...

Author's Response: Read over my story, I changed that :)

Gooooood golly, I love this story. It's had me in tears like, 3 times, and it's beautifully written. (Wasn't Goyle the one who was "killed" by the fiend fyre in DH ? I might be wrong.) But I have nothing to say against this story, I applaud you. :)

Author's Response: :D

I'm a big fan of your stories! But the only thing I've really noticed is like, some repetitivness (i spelled that wrong or somethingXD) with some of your words. Otherwise I love it, and it may just be me being too nitpicky. XD

omg my crais, they just keep coming.
I love this, I really do! This was so sweet ;_; one thing though, I wouldn't have had harry's thoughts be so much on the why thing, it got a bit repetitive after a while.

Author's Response: Thanks so much, I am so glad you liked it! I see what you mean about counting whys being a bit repetitive, I'll go back and edit that now and change it so Harry's not counting every single one. Thanks for the suggestion, I really appreciate it, and I'm so glad you liked this chapter (it's actually my favourite)! :)

The Hardest Thing by Alice Mac

Rated: 6th-7th Years •
Summary: He prayed that she would say something - anything to appease Bellatrix. But she did not - that infuriating, idiotic, beautiful, courageous, stubborn, uncontrollable bint. He had never loved her more.

One of the hardest things in this world is to watch someone you love experience unimaginable pain and be powerless to stop it. But if you did have some power - any at all - to take that pain away, would you use it, even at the risk of your own life? Would you defy your allies - your family - to help someone who is supposed to be an enemy? Or would you do nothing - like the coward everyone assumes you are?

Draco Malfoy was tired of being a coward.

Oh, god. As much as I love the relationship that exists between Ron and Hermione, this was just so well written and sad and sweet that I couldn't help but wish Draco had her. I love this so much.

Author's Response: Wow! I can't believe a Ron/Hermione shipper liked this - it's a great compliment! I wish Draco could have her too, but I don't think he quite deserves her at this point. Thank you so much for your kind review!

Okay, so I'm already Loving this a lot. Ellie seems cool, and I like the idea of a Muggle-born in Slytherin. (Salazar rolled over in his grave!) and I was almost expecting this end but I love it nonetheless. Cannot wait for the next chapter!!! c:

The Fire I Yearn For by silverlining95

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: 'Her eyes were ablaze with a passion that I had previously believed to have died out. Somehow this defiance, this tiniest hint of uprising, had lit a spark within her, and it was a welcome sight.'

The day Harry Potter didn't board the Hogwarts Express changed everything for me, for suddenly Ginny Weasley wasn't the same.

I loveeee. I never really thought about them being friends and whatnot at hogwarts, once the others were gone.

Author's Response: Thank you :) I've always interpreted it that Ginny, Neville and Luna were very close, not only because they were fighting against the Carrows together but also because they needed each other to lean on as everyone else had left.
