I love Harry Potter fan fiction, because it allows my imagination to run free!
I probably could be doing something more productive, but since I love to read and write, and hope to be an author one day, this doesn't seem like a whole waste of time!!!!
I love this site so much. It really let's me challenge my mind and see things in a whole new light.
Go fan fiction!!!!!
EDIT: I am a poetry nut! So watch out for all my poetry and you can even check some of my poetry out on Poetry Anyone? in the Beta Forums, if you are able to get an account. :) Also watch out if you write poetry, too! I am sure to review it, and possibly leave behind a critique!

Actually, I think Petunia can take James if she wants. ;) Then Lily gets Severus! Sorry, totally off topic!
I loved your characterization of Petunia! It puts her in a whole new light! Great job!
Awww! He is so sweet! Why did they have to fall apart! Wonderful story! Enjoyed every word!
She will be! Just in an alternate universe that I've yet to write! :) I love their friendship!!!!!!!!!! Great story!!!
Awwwwwwwww!!!!!!!!!!! Man, this was a heartbreaker of a story!! The minute I read about the fawn in the ornament, I melted and I squealed that it was Snape and Lily's patronus. I wasn't disappointed later when Snape called the necklace that! Oh, how I'm sad those two didn't end up together!
Perfect story, though. Makes me wish with all my heart to become a better person before its too late and I lose what I can't replace. *eyes fill with tears* sigh...
Author's Response: I'm really glad you liked the ornament! (Keep an eye out in Much More Than A Game to find out how this particular ornament ended up in Snape's family.) Plus, for what it's worth, I've generally found that the point of too late is that moment when that person walks away; everythng up to that point still holds hope. :)
Thanks for rviewing,
Hypatia
I cried!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Severus deserves happiness! He deserves Lily!!!!!!
What a beautiful and fun story. I loved it! :D
So, they ended up together after all???? If they did, I am so totally for it! :) This was really beautiful! I hope to read more...
Awwwwwwwwww!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I will gladly accept that dedication! And I'm so happy for Hermione and Severus!!!!! Great job, once more!
Hi again! I just realized that this was the last story in your list of the Master of Enchantment Series! :( and since I can see that you are still writing, I beg of you to keep this going!!!!!!!!!! I want to see Snape as a father!!!!!!! I hope you get this review, and please consider keeping this story going!!!!!
Author's Response: SubHub and I have always meant to write the story of Severus and Hermione's baby. I may yet do so, one day. Thank you for reading and commenting. :)
No!!!!!!!!!!!! Darn it, Roxy! This was so sad, and I'm wishing with all my heart that these two had worked out together! But it was a beautiful story, anyways. :)
Hmm... I decided to read this after reading Much More Than a Game, and I have to say that I love this short version, but I'm also glad that you decided to extend it. This chapter seemed to end so abruptly!
I love your work, and I hope to read more. I can't believe the number of stories you've written! I hope to be able to enjoy them all, and perhaps continue to be inspired by your beautiful and elegant writing style. :)
Author's Response: I'm gald you enjoyed it! There was so much that I wanted to add to this at the time but as it was for a one-shot challenge, everything had to fit into one chapter. Plus, there were a lot of side plots that got woven in over the years that separate the two stories. *cough* werewolves *cough* So... I guess you've probably noticed that Hadrian Jones will be appearing in upcoming chapters of Much More Than A Game... ;)
Thank you for your thoughtful review,
Hypatia
Oh what to say? I absolutely adore this story and I especially love your characterization of Snape. I feel like he and Lily really do deserve to be together, because of the way you have written them. Oh please up date this story!!!!! This is going into my favorites, and I would love it if this story could actually be finished, too. You have such a fluent writing style and you are able to get into the characters' heads really well! I feel like I understand and appreciate them all a little more. :D So please continue this story!!!!
What a tear jerker! I have a baby in my own home, and I feel the exact same way.
I think you captured this scene perfectly! I absolutely loved this story, and I hope you keep it up. Your stories are really good!
Author's Response: Oh, thank you, Nagini Riddle. I'm so glad you liked it. I did enjoy writing this little piece, so thank you for letting me know you enjoyed it, too. I really appreciate you giving my stories some love!!! :)
Well, I really enjoyed this humorous song! Some of it didn't work well with the tune, but I still loved it! :)
Author's Response: Glad you got a chuckle out of it. I've never been too good at getting the lyrics to fit for these challenges, but they're still fun to write. :)
I found this poem to be so beautiful! I loved the rhythm and flow, and I definitely see this a being part of a poet's writing, so don't try to say you aren't a poet. :)
I, personally, see this as being able to work outside of the wizarding world, and it is a very good way of using ambiguity, because it shows that people with magic are just the same with their emotions as people without magic.
Even though I see from the reviews that this was Harry/Ginny, I thought of Molly/Arthur like Carole. Arthur seems more the type to sing and whistle than Harry. :p And as Carole pointed out, Molly is associated with cooking, and I think she would be more inclined to think of yellow mornings. But in that same respect, perhaps this could be Luna/Rolfe, as she is associated with the color yellow, and it would be just like her to try to see the brighter things in life that nobody else pays much attention to. And since we don't know anything about Rolfe, he could be someone to sing and cook. :)
I do, however, love the depth of this poem, and the layers of emotion it conveys. Great job!
~Nagini Riddle, fellow poet
Wow! I think what would have made this even better was if those last three words were inverted to say, Empty. Hard. Cold. I think it would have wrapped this poem up much better, because it would start with the word cold, and then ends with the same word. Other than that, I think it was great!
Author's Response: Thanks so much. That's actually a really good idea.
How sad! Narcissa could have decided that she was a person who loved her family, but I suppose she was so empty and effected by the war that she just lost her way... Great poem! J love the rhyme. :)
Author's Response: Okay, I just re-read this poem since I didn't remember it from so long ago. Thanks for the review and reminding me that I'd written this.
A writer struggling with writer's block.
A bedtime story.
A legend.
Winner of Best History/Mystery in the '09 QSQ's. Thank you!
And that is why we should always heed advice and not take felix felicis in competitions! :)
Very nice story! I loved the bedtime narration- it makes me feel better about my struggles to write sometimes.
I want cyber-cookies!!!! I laughed at this story, but I just couldn't imagine Albus as being bad! I think it's mainly due to how he acted in the epilogue, and James was definitely loud and a teaser. Still, I know that siblings sometimes get away with everything! I enjoyed the banter between these two! It felt like a real family! :)
Author's Response: Haha, he's your cyber cookie! :D I don't know how this story popped into my head, but it did and I just had to write it. I know Albus seems like that shy and timid guy but kids are quite adept to behaving like the goody-goody in front of their parents - trust me, I've got many younger cousins who do that, so I'd know. I had a lot of trouble writing Harry, but in the end he turned out okay; just like the Dad-Harry I'd like to read about. Family is an awesome thing, especially if it's the Potters or the Weasleys. And my family is as awesome and as crazy as I imagine the Weasley-Potter clan is, lol.
Thanks for the review, dear, I'm glad I could make you laugh! :D
Perfect! This is an awesome mixture of found poetry and original poetry! I'm wondering if we are allowed to submit entirely found poetry? Meaning, using only phrases found not quite at random from the books and placing them in such a way to make a lyrical piece. Hmm...
Anyways, I loved it! I can see why it won!
~Nagini Riddle
Author's Response: Thanks! I'm not sure if you would be allowed to submit a fully fledged found poetry poem as there may be restrictions. You could definitely ask one of the archive mods. There is an archive question thread in PA or you could just post in Ask a Mod. Again, thanks for the review :)
Natalie, you crack me up! No wait- I meant to say JKR. I was confused there for a moment... :)
I totally liked this story. I especially loved the title. It was well fitting for Narcissa. :)
Though this was one of your earlier works, it is still magnificent! Would you consider being my beta?
Nagini :D
