Harry Potter is the best damn story ever written. There's no denying it.
I'm a senior in high school who's probably read the entire series combined over 100 times. I stumbled upon the fanfiction world shortly after HBP came out and wow, there's been no turning back. There's so much talent out there and we all owe it to JKR for allowing us to explore such a great world. I think, as fanfiction writers, we are obliged to write the best we can and IN THE SPIRIT OF THE BOOKS. i hate it when some authors take such a ridiculous angle to whatever storyline. JKR deserves all the respect in the world. Let's uphold that.

wow...if u first published the story before HBP came out, then thats really crazy that your first chapter is so similar to what happened in the book. getting advance hints from JKR? lol. great writing. keep it up.
wonderful. I think what makes a great fan fiction is that it reminds the reader of JKR. We owe this all to her and our stories must respect her brilliance. your story definetely does that. i wonder after you're done with this story would you consider writing your own book 7? it would be excellent i have no doubt. also, although this is a romance fic are you going to include any of Harry's dealings with the war/voldemort. it seems that in this yr nothing has really gone on. we havent even seen dumbledore. just a suggestion. keep up the excellent work. dont even rush to get a chapter done. id rather read good work then have it up in less time. Shameless plug: if u have time read my story too. then again if u dont, i understand. senior yr is tough. college apps are all i think about (except HP of course!)
good story so far...i just got done reading all 13 chapters. your're a great writer but i must say...i often found the characters a bit OoC. Harry and Bill for example. Other than that, i like the balancing of the Malfoy and Ginny storylines. keep it up. also, doesnt pettigrew still owe something to harry for saving his life in PoA? are u going to incorporate that in any way? cant wait for the next chapter.

Author's Response: Hmmm... I'm pretty sure that a non-verbal "Levicorpus" falls under the same category as other spells - you have to think the word in your head for it to work non-verbally. Therefore, you should logically also be able to execute it out loud. I wanted Harry to yell it because it's the only way he could manifest his anger at that moment - he feels responsible for what happens to the DA, but if he loses his cool, everyone will suffer for it, you know?

Chapter 9 is called "Debts Repaid". Summary: "He heard Dumbledore's voice in his head: 'When one wizard saves another wizard's life, it creates a certain bond between them...'"
aha! my prediction was right. go snape by the way. but....wow. just wow. no wonder you took your time writing this one and it was worth it. its fantastic how you can keep on top of all these different plotlines so well. please dont let the next chapter be the last one! i know harry will find someway to survive. and if he doesnt then im sure ull make his death sensible somehow. again, brilliant. its amazing how i get completely drawn back into your stories every time you update. (btw ill eagerly awaiting the fanart! yay.) keep it up.

when i saw that this chapter was like 6000 words long i was so excited because that meant more to read! but damn! it went by so fast it felt like 1000. i dont have much to say because my praise you've heard all before. just...wow. i love how you take it all so seriouslywith planning and research...we as writers must do jkr justice and you do that completely. chapter ten should be a doozy. thanx for giving me soomething to look forward after a night a hard work. since i just finished reading all first six chapter this is a review for all of them. WOW. i think what makes any fanfiction author great is that they stay true to JKR's style and above all else, THE STORY. you definetely do that. you have a great ability to write characters. i think you are the best writer of snape and voldemort dialogue i have seen yet and ive read a lot of stories. they are immensely difficult, snape in particular, to write and u do a superb job. also, great description of action. keep it up. excellent incorporation of the DA btw. Shameless Plud: once u have time, please read/review my story. it's a bit sad like ur one-shot. Thanks so much.

great transition chapter. excellent as always but i have only one quarrel. You wrote:

Harry would never call Voldemort the "Dark Lord" because only Death Eaters do that. He just always calls him Voldemort. Maybe you have a reason that he calls him "the Dark Lord" this time but i think you should change it b/c it is OOC.
Other than that, BLOODY BRILLIANT. Keep writing for all our sakes; we can't get enough.
Author's Response: Good point, you've got there. It's so easy to get jumbled on these dialogue points when so there are so many characters to keep track of - I must have crossed Harry with Snape there for a second ;). Anyway, I'm on it! (And thanks so much for reviewing!)
man that was like the cutest story ever. very well written, great humor, and character. i love how the old Ginny and Harry act, exactly the way i picture them. u have great talent. keep it up and i can't wait to see ur next stories. 12/10.

very well done. like others have said, you take an extra step and add in that dimension of harry/hermione although we all knows it actually ron/hermione. you painted the realtionship very well. i did think it was kinda fluffy tho. cant wait to read the next chapters.
