Your knowledge of British politics and military adds to the believably of the story. Or maybe its faked knowledge. I don't know enough about either to tell. Either way, you presented it in a believable manner.

However, speaking as an engineer, your use of megawatts to describe the energy of a projectile is a bit strange. Then again, I'm a girl, and I don't talk guns very often.

Author's Response: I did a fair amount of research, and tried to get things right. If you know anything I got wrong, tell me and I'll fix it (as long as it doesn't screw up the plot). Yes, people confusing energy and power bothers me as well (aerospace engineering major). But power is correct here - that's the amount of kinetic energy applied to what it's hitting per unit time by this gun, based upon energy per slug and the firing rate. This is not a normal unit for guns, I don't think - I'm not a big fan of the things myself. Sometimes I just like to use units in technically correct but unconventional ways, to make people think and because I'm a wiseass.
