Fine. Since this is the bloody United States, you are intitled to your own opinion. But when Ron/Hermione happens, I'm going to review every Harry/Hermione story and luagh in all your faces.
Author's Response: Why waste your time reading Harry/Hermione fanfics when you can read JKRs books? I suggest you start with these passages from HBP.
Page 305 “He’s at perfect liberty to kiss whomever he likes,” said Hermione… “I really couldn’t care less.”
Hermione dots an “i” angrily and Harry thinks Hermione is upset about Ron + Lavender, but I think she means what she says. Harry is really bad at figuring out what’s on Hermione’s mind. She has two other reasons to be angry: 1) some girls are plotting to give Harry a love potion and she couldn’t bust them for just talking about it and 2) Harry still owes her an apology for the way he used her to fool Ron about the Felix Felicis and she’s not going to get it because the incident is out of Harry’s mind.
Page 313 “I like really good Quidditch players,” Hermione corrected her.
(I think she means what she says and the really good Quidditch player at that table is Harry.)
Page 351-354: When Ron returns to Hogwarts after Christmas he gets a very warm greeting from Lavender. Hermione laughs about it and then ignores it altogether as she talks with Harry.
Page 353: She stared across the room, apparently lost in thought, not even noticing Lavender tickling Ron. “How’s Lupin?”
It’s as if Hermione is not jealous of Lavender, which could be the case if she’s in love with Harry. Hermione passes an amicable evening with Harry while Ron is distracted by Lavender. I think it is interesting that JKR used the word “amicable”, instead of “fun, enjoyable, pleasant, nice or friendly”. Amicable is derived from Amar which is Latin for “to love”.
Page 461 Lavender approaches, Hermione leaves. It’s almost as if she doesn’t want to cause trouble between Lavender and Ron. This occurs after Ron professes his love for Hermione on page 449. If Hermione loved Ron she would stay with him to help break up the Ron + Lavender affair.
Page 613 – Hermione hugs Harry in the hospital. Harry decides he has to break up with Ginny in order to protect her. I think Hermione still had Felix Felicis in her blood when the impulse to hug Harry hit her.
Alright, you were right, i was wrong! I shouldn't have flammed your story, no matter what my opinion. i read your story again, and I found it was very well written, though I do not agree with the shipping. I have been an HP freak for over a year and and half, and I always supported R/Hr. I'm sorry for whatever discord this has spread between us. I was very stupid and naive. A lot has happened over the past year, including the deaths of 5 of my family members with me as the sole witness to all. Seeing death and sadness has matured me beyond anyone my age. My friends have gone so far to say I've lost my sense of fun, that I have become sad and depressed most of the time. Despite all this, they have done all they can to support and help me. I know this doesn't make sense telling you this, but I don't care about life, Harry Potter ships, or anything anymore much. So, you called me immature. i just wanted you to know how I have grown. I am sorry, and i don't care about these stupid ships anymore. Once agan, I am terribly sorry.

Some of my smart-ass replies to your earlier reviews may have hurt your feelings, and for this I must say that I am also sorry. To me, writing and reading HP fanficts is a hobby, and nothing more. I enjoy communicating with other HP fans, including you. I\'m glad that you have friends who have been supportive and I truly hope you can find a reason to care about life. Maturity is greatly overrated. Personally, I cling to immaturity, or at least to some aspects of immaturity such as trying to have fun. When a guy is jealous of another guy he first beats up the fellow, then reclaims his girl. When a girl is jealous of a girl she doesn't attack her crush. That would be stupid. Hermione attacked Ron because Harry put his friendship with Ron ahead of his friendship with the one person who has always been loyal to him.
