Wanna play
NOTE: 'Simon says...' was started after GoF and finished after OotP, HBP was already disregarded, same goes now for DH. Meaning: there'll be no post-DH alterations due to newly revealed Canon, nor will you encounter spoilers. This story is set AU and will remain there.
Jan 11th: Cheers! I found someone at PI to beta for me. Colon deserves a load of thanks! Well, the next chapter is waiting in line. Let's up the hacker-problems will be sorted out soon...
I study languages, liked writing ever since I discovered the art of holding a pen, and read as much as I somehow can manage in my free time.
I started beta-reading fanfiction quite a while ago, but recently quit being a PI-beta due to real life taking over. However, I'll still give my opinion on single chapters.
My current project involves the training of my language skills by translating the story of a friend of mine, Altron.
If you're interested in reading the original, German, version (or maybe even the sequel?), drop me a message, I'll be happy to send you the links.
Every review to this story will naturally be forwarded to Altron.
Nitwit! Blubber! Tweak!
Sort me!
of course, people'll continue reading - it's food ffs like yours that keep the Potterverse alive. So, do you happen to have any food? :-)
Author's Response: Thanks, that makes me happy to read! And nope, sorry, neither Harry not I have any food ;)
*scratches her head* I know Bill is currently in Germany, but he's not excatly discribed as short...so is none of the Weasleys men. I'm gonna take a wild guess and say it's Neville.
I rather liked Mrs. Figg. Apology accepted. :-)
Author's Response: Neville is an important character in later chapters. . . good guess, but you\'ll have to wait and find out! Thanks for the review.
Someone who has my story on their fave's list, has yours on it aswell, so I figured I might like it ;-) and wow, it totally blew me. This is some amazing beginning, the plot sounds promising, you really seem to know how to create an air of suspense...I'm damn glad I can go straight to the next chapter without waiting for an update!
Author's Response: I\'m glad you gave it a try and liked it so much! Thanks for the review.
caught me, I did and actually re-read the first part cuz I thgought I missed sth, hehe.
Sons of Voldemort does sound scary, but I'm not sure they'd use his name. Though...one could argure that now that he's dead, they dare to speak it out in order to glorify him. oh well.
You do know to use cliffs, don't you?
Author's Response: It does seem a little off that they might use that name, but I like to think they like the fame associated with it. I just love cliffhangers, evil writer that I am. Thanks for the review.
aaaahhh! I was wondering when Snape would make an appearance, woot! (and yay, sounds like it'll be evil!Snape) *claps hands in excitement*
The "I'm pregant scene" is just too cute!
was afraid she'd end up with lovely Draco, poor thing. But maybe this is the exact way to later help her friends.
Detainment camps, eh? Is that the place where we'll see Hermione again?
I hope you don't think of me as a freak, reading three chaps in a row (maybe even four), but hey, it's sunday and I'm sick! :]
Author's Response: No, no, please read on! I\'m glad you liked it so much, and you seem to have developed many good theories. . . . Thanks for the review.
uuh, so typical Snape. he's really somone you don't want to cross. yeah, Snape and Lily is indeed rather disgusting, but it would make sense. unfortunately.
and Lupin has gone to the States for help...now if you let them act as they did recently in real life, it's gonna get ugly.
and yep, I can't help speculating, which can turn into a problem when you mix up different ffs... ;-)
Author's Response: Snape is simply someone you love to hate. Some people may be into the theory of him killing Dumbledore on Dumbledore\'s orders, or something like that, but not me. He\'s evil all the way. I\'m glad my story was interesting enough to bring out speculation! Thanks for the review.
*splash* that was me falling of that huge cliff you just dumped me on! So, Ginny lost her memory, As thick as Malfoy might be, I doubt that Snape won't find the secret passage. So, let's just hope she finds a way out of that room before Snape finds a way in. Poor Hermione. btw: Did she get a chance to tell the others about the portkey yet?
Author's Response: Haha, I\'m sorry about that cliff! But come on, you\'ve got to know they\'re about to come at the end every chapter by now! Thanks for the review, and as for Hermione passing the important info on: wait and find out ;)
oho, gotta love the ending! (okay, I like very chapter with a snarky Snape in it, so yeah, yeah, yeah for this one) :-) Happy Holydays to you!
Author's Response: I\'m glad you liked this chapter, and Happy Holidays to you too!
touching, tearjerking, sad, wonderful, heartripping, great - so many adjectives to describe this. Of cpurse readers would hope, but the story's better with the marriage. Let's just hope the potion will work...
Author's Response: Yeah, the marriage really is important to the plot. I\'m glad you liked the chapter nonetheless, thanks for the review.
hahaha, nice beginning for a sequel, Fred and Geoge surely know how to brighten one's day. :-) Coolies for rescuing Tyler, I wonder if he'll develop magical skills sometime in the course of this story?
Author's Response: Thank you! I just love Fred and George. It\'s a shame they\'re out of school and couldn\'t be featured more in this story, but I love the first few chapters because of them. I\'m glad to see that you\'ve decided to stick with this story and read the sequel. I hope you find it as enjoyable as I do. :-)
of course I'll keep reading, this is too good not to.
Who is it for? Taylor? Can Muggles ride broomsticks? Ginny, then? :-)
Author's Response: Yay! And Muggles can\'t ride broomsticks, so... *hint* :-)
“He followed me home,” he added, gesturing toward Harry. “Can we keep him?” - wonderful :-)
Oh, I can really picture Tyler sitting there, grinning broadly and being proud of having been petrified. *gg* He's great.
well, so Harry found out a great deal about his past, but it's still different since he doesn't feel the memories yet, I mean for him there's no emotions assoiciated with those happenings. I hope the boy won't crush ocne that happens, after all, there's no way to prepare him for that...
Author's Response: I love that line. The twins are so much fun! :-) As far as Harry\'s mental and emotional health go, we\'ll just have to hope he matures enough to be able to handle whatever ends up coming his way. Was that a cryptic enough response? ;-)
Too bad it didn't work out, Umbridge: theft-victim of a Muggle-boy. Hilarious thought.
But, Big Question: what's she doing strolling around in public? Shouldn't she have been notified that she's been found out and seek a hiding place, maybe in the Caribbean? :-)
Thanks for bringing in Luna, I love her.
Author's Response: Isn\'t Luna fun? And if we know anything about Umbridge, it\'s that she\'s cocky. She firmly believes that nothing can be proven against her, so why should she arouse suspicion by acting guilty? And you\'re definitely right that it would have been hilarious if Tyler had succeeded. I almost wrote it that way, but then I realized that it would screw up my plot so I had to change it. I think you\'ll end up liking the way I did it, though (I hope so, anyway).
hehe, just found out there's a seurl! and: nah it's not lame at all. :-)
Author's Response: Hehe, thanks!
sorry, I'm not used to writing with the laptop on well... my lap... seurl = sequel. *coughs*
Author's Response: Yeah, I make typos ALL THE TIME. Maybe it\'s \'cos laptop keys are so flat.
