Lily Evans and James Potter share absolutely nothing in common, not even their feelings for each other. Lily, perceived as a ‘model student,’ detests the handsome, popular, Quidditch star James, who she thinks to be something of a git. James, on the contrary, has been infatuated with Lily for years, and has let her and the whole school know it.
As time progresses into Voldemort’s ‘reign of terror,’ the two have to learn to trust, tolerate, and love each other.
Please note, this story is incomplete, and will likely remain so for a long time. I apologize!
ur story is definitely like one of my favorites. Lily is such a character and personality. I love how this if portrayed. Keep writing and write fast.
omigosh....its awesome, though i think the romance is going a little fast. i like how you work in Peter's betrayal....nice.
Author's Response: don't worry about the romance going fast.....i've got a couple of tricks up my sleeve, though alexis and sirius' relationship will go faster than anyone else's because they're.......them. lol. yes peter's story is going 2 have a big part in this fic. thanks so much delta!
Miss Radcliffe
For all of you who wanted an update, I have a proposition. You may or may not like it, but it's all I can offer.
Check review challenge for the last chapter. details there!
James and Lily Potter were possibly the most famous parents in wizarding history. We know alot about their adult life, but what do we really know about their childhood? Even Harry never knew about the Drama, jealousy, danger, friendships, happiness, sadness, resentment, confusion and love that his parents went through as children. Here, their lives, from when the two of them were eleven to when they were brutally murdered at only 21, is recorded. Lily and James Potter were unsung heros. This is their story.
I love how Calista gets back at Lily. It's so horrible and wonderful at the same time. You can't help but feel for Lily and hate Calista, yet I kinda feel sorry for Calista because Lily has what she wants, and if I was Calista I would be really jealous and mean.....after all, she is in slytherin. I love how you're developing the love-hate James-Lily thing. Its a really nice and refreshing spin on things. Keep writing, I love it.
Author's Response: Thankyou for your review! I am aware that I am starting to sound like a parrot, but I love it when I get reviews, and that people would take the time to do them! wow, that's the first I've heard of anyone feeling sorry for Calista, but I do see your point. People say that writers all put a little bit of themselves in their characters, and I am always seeing that that is totally true, as I can relate to every character I have written so far, in one way or another. I can sympathise with Calista, because i no how it feels to have the guy you like like someone else, and it is easy to understand her reactions, no matter how rash. Also, I know more than any of you guys about Calistas personality, and i admit, it's still hard for me to keep remembering that you guys don't have any idea about what happens next yea- oh, sorry, mustn't give away too much! thanks again!
awesome. keep writing. ummmm... i think that they will get together in 7th year b/c that's when the book says they will get togeher. This is definitely one of my fav LJ fics cuz it explains Lily's hatred of James's in a new light. Great job, and keep writing.
Author's Response: Hey, thanks for the review! hehe Yeh, the book says they get together then, but I think most people are confusing the meaning of the question! We all know they're going to get together in yr 7, there's nothing I can do to change that, the question, however, asks what will it take for them to be friends again? lol oh well you'll find out soon enough anyway! cya then, and thanks again!
