Hi,
I'm 17 and I'm from Ireland. I adore Harry Potter (obviously) and I have read all the books and seen all the films. I'm not too much of a fan of the films. I love writing fan fics almost as much as I like reading them. My own fic is one I really like writing and I find it lots of fun thinking up new ideas. ;)

Note about story:
'Out of the Darkness' is finished and I will not be adding any more chapters to it. However, I will be writing a sequel to it. First though, I'm taking a break from wrting it for a while so that I can work on my other projects. So readers, please hang in there with me! Thanks.

'Into the Light' is here!!!!!

Ocean Soul by AstroFire

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: They say no one is born being evil. Is Tom Riddle an exception? A one-shot about the night a boy lost his innocence; the night everything changed for everyone. A story about how a boy turned into man... HBP spoilers. Please review. I'm very, very sorry for the weird problem with the format. It is now fixed, but I'm sorry if you had to read it without any spaces D:

AAAAAAAAAAGH!!!!!! *screams and pulls her hair out* I'm sorry, I'm not shouting at you. I wrote a really long review in which I pointed out all my favourite parts and the page shut itself down so now I'm going to have to leave a small review for you. It was a great story. Some parts were really powerful, especially the last few sentences.

Author's Response: *Tries to hide smile but fails* I\'m not laughing at you! It\'s just... well, I\'ve been there, and I know I really, really, really hate when it happens. Don\'t worry, lunar, a small review will do it :D It\'s good to know you liked it! I just recently read this story again and liked the last sentences, too :) Anyway, thank you very much for still leaving a review even though you must still be very frustrated by the other :) Glad you liked it!

Thats very good. I liked the whole 'Mr Muffles' thing but what is a 'klptomaniac'? I also liked your groups of people, especially the Marauders. Oh I love reading these fics so much!

Author's Response: A kleptomaniac is \"An obsessive impulse to steal regardless of economic need\" (I got that from dictionary.com). Thanks for reviewing, and I\'m glad you enjoyed it. I love writing these fics so much!

*adds story to favorites list and curses author for not having more chapters up* That was brilliant. It was a very interesting idea and the actual atory was very well written. I liked the way you had Lucius as a person, rather than an animal. I also loved the bit where he is talking to Voldemort and he kepps having to say 'Yes, my Lord'. That part was really well done. Where he was talking to Lily was very sad too. Anyway, please update soon!
~lunar ;)

Author's Response: Thank you so much for reviewing. I\'m glad you\'re enjoying my story. The fact that most stories out there make Lucius out to be a monster kind of annoys me. There has to be more to him than that. So I kinda like to explore the softer side of Lucius Malfoy.

It could be a very good story but you need to put more chapters up *nudge, nudge, hint, hint* Seriously though, the last bit was really good, especially the part about her family and how she wished they were there. 10/10 keep up the good work!

I can't believe I'm the first person to review! This sounds like a really cool story, especially the first part, which was really well written and described. Also, there was just one spelling mistake;
'Harry Potter stared out of the fuggy window,' I think you meant foggy. Besides that, it was really good, keep up the brilliant work.

This Is How She Remembers by unperfectwolf

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: Gen, Luna Lovegood || She was the only one to survive in the end. She had fallen, like everyone else, when the end had come, but she had lived. When they asked her how come she had lived, she always answered the same. "Because someone has to remember."

That's a really cool way of writing! But was it that she was the last wizard or witch or the last to survive the war? Anyway, I loved the fantastic start to it, about the screams. I can't believe I'm the first person to review it! Brilliant, well done!!!

Take the Plunge by Eilime

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: Not knowing what kind of foul creature had its paws, fins, hands, claws, whatever, on her, she screamed only to give free way to the large amount of water that then floated into her mouth, as the creature roughly pulled her under the water. And in the darkness she felt drained and despondent, until, with the panicked realisation of another, she closed her eyes and floated…

After a traumatising experience in the Lake at Hogwarts, Hermione changes. But it seems that it is only he, the traumatic experience’s instigator, who is the only one there for her.

“You’re not going to hold a grudge against me now, are you?” Malfoy continued cheerily. “And do something really evil and unforeseen like setting fire to my arse and sending my burnt self off to live with a paedophilic Muggle in Transylvania? You know what they say; if you fall off your broomstick, hurry to the hospital, get revived, insert a new lung, mend your ribs, and then get back on your broomstick.”

7th story in a series of Hermione/Draco one-shots (Check out my author page for more information)

That was beautiful! The way you write is really amazing, especially how you have Malfoy and Hermione as different but they're still in character. It's amazing. And the way you describe everything is wonderful. Also the way the same ting is almost happening again, yet every time there's something different to it. Amazing. Keep up the good work!

Author's Response: Thank you, Luna, it means a lot to me that you liked so much about it. Especially that you think their in character is fantastic to hear. Thanks!

Wow, I loved that story! Usually I think adult Draco and Hermione are too out of character but I really liked them in this. Draco was really good; a bit like his old self but more mature too, and Hermione was bossy, which I liked! Well done, I haven't enjoyed a story as much in ages!!! :-D

Author's Response: Thank you. I did try to keep them close to their old self - I'm glad you think I succeeded. I imagined Draco would still be a little ... guarded and touchy, and that sharp tone is loveable ... (well, so I think) As for Hermione; she'll always be bossy. Thank you very much :)
