Soap is my dog's name. Don't ask - he just looks like a Soap!

I'm a huge fan of almost anything involving Sirius and almost anything involving Remus, and when it involves both of them together, well . . . that's just ideal, isn't it? However, I do mean "almost anything", because I'm not very fond of Remus/Tonks. I know that it's popular and that it's, you know, allegedly in the "actual books" and all that nonsense, but I just really prefer seeing good old Remus with someone else.

In writing, I'm not at all an equal opportunity shipper. I started with Draco/Hermione, but in my old age (coming up on 28 now... positively ancient!) and after marrying a guy who is several years older than I, I've come to appreciate that men, like fine wines, get better with age. Thus, I've become very Sirius- and Remus-centered, as I've mentioned already, and most of what I write these days involves them together, or one of them with Hermione (she is quite the fanfiction slut, is she not?).

Has anyone figured out that the Hermione/Sirius series stories are all titled with Nirvana songs? Just wondering.

Nominated for a Quicksilver Quill for Best Romance-Non Canon 2007, 2008, and 2009. In 2010 mods changed the rules (they got tired of the same fics being nominated ^_~) so no more QQ hopes, but that's okay. No proof is needed that Draco/Ginny = love.

* Written before the HBP, this tale presents an alternate sixth year in which Dumbledore lives, Draco is more than a foil to Harry, and Blaise Zabini is a girl. I hope readers who ship Draco/Ginny will enjoy the story which includes dancing with faeries, Celtic and Norse mythology, school holidays in London and Spain, and loads of fantasy and romance. I <3 it! Keep going keep going! I love the tango thing, because it is SUCH a sensual dance that would definitely make me green-eyed if I saw my crush dancing it with another girl! And the Sense and Sensibility questions - Ginny is Marianne, Hermione is Elinor, Harry is Col. Brandon, Draco is John Willougby, and Ron is Edward Ferrars. It actually fits pretty well with the story! And I'm just making a short, sweet basic version of it - definitely not doing every event and quote! Keep writing!!

Summary: It's the summer after sixth year and Hermione is staying at The Burrow. Her dreams have finally come true: she is Ron Weasley's girlfriend. However, to her shock and dismay she discovers that the attainable has become the unwanted. She finds herself torn between not wanting to remain in a relationship with someone she doesn't love, and destroying one of the closest friendships she is likely to ever have. Amidst all this confusion, Draco Malfoy arrives in a coma from which it is doubtful he will ever leave. Hermione is asked to watch over him in case of a miraculous recovery. However, she finds herself pouring out her hopes, fears and dreams to her unconscious nemesis, someone who can't even hear her... or can he?

The two sequels I had planned for this will not be written any time in the near future. I'm sorry for any inconvenience caused.

(Sometimes I miss those characters.) 2) Ginny Weasley has been selected to play professional Quidditch with the Holyhead Harpies and they wear sexy uniforms. 3) Hogwarts will be open and Harry and Hermione have jobs as student teachers, they'll be teaching 1st and 2nd year students while carrying 7th year loads. 4) The address of Harry's house has been changed to Number 12 and 7/16 Greenfield Way so Snape can't find it. 5) I invented a spell called "Bang" where the wizard points his wand at a foe, shouts "Bang" and shoots him. Since you are such a fabulous reviewer, I'm going to return the favor. First of all, I loved this part:

The war had just gotten personal. She half-carried, half-dragged Remus to a small crevice. ...Tonks kissed him, then stood up to rejoin the battle.

And this as well

My heart isn’t Black enough. . .if you were a true Black you wouldn’t miss.”

I love hearing the story from Tonks's point of view, getting into her mind a bit. Remus's death felt a little rushed. I read that part twice just to try and get the impact of it, but I may be biased because I'm so terribly fond of his character!! Overall it was lovely and I want to read more of your writing!!

Author's Response: Thank you for the fabulous review! I liked writing those parts, just because I knew they would stand out to someone. I tried to make them meaningful. And pretty much the only reason I wrote it from Tonks\' point of view is because she died second. If I had written it from Remus\' point of view it would\'ve stopped a little short, or I would\'ve gotten into the risky business of writing about heaven. I had a tough time writing his death (I\'m also terribly fond of him) so that may be why it seemed a little rushed. Again, thanks for the review!
