Working girl, wife and mother of two grown boys, I've been writing since I was 13 and have written in several genres (the Beatles, High Chaparral, Star Trek, Star Wars, Emergency!, Lord of the Rings, and now Harry Potter. I've no shame - I write short stories which assume Harry dies after defeating Voldemort and others which have him survive. I've probably read too much about alchemy and Christian myth for my own good, but it's SO MUCH FUN!!! I love Tolkien, Lewis, MacDonald, Austen, Rowling, to name a few. I only wish I could write like them. Ah, well, further Up and further in!
You scored as Harry Potter. You can be a little reckless and hot-headed at times, but a more brave and courageous friend would be hard to find.

Quote: "Author's Response: lol! So happy it delivered! :D Thanks so much. Chapter 13 won't take nearly as long, I promise!"
I never thought I'd resort to such things, but PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE won't you give us Chapter 13 soon? I mean, it's been two months since you swore a solemn oath- - er, well, SAID you would be coming out with Chapter 13 SOON. *Must* *calm* *my* *breathing*. Man, can you write!!
Author's Response: Breathe, man, breathe!
I realize it\'s been a while - I\'m sorry it\'s taking me a bit longer than I anticipated. There\'s been some unexpected family crises that have totally thrown off a lot of things I had scheduled, but I\'m back in full swing and doing my all to upload Chapter 13 by the end of the month. I\'m at 4,000 thereabouts, and there\'s more stuff to tie up than I thought!
So hang in there! :D
Surely you understand that an average Muggle can take only so much, my dear! Please excuse this twitch-it only gets really bad when I think of chapters delayed 3 months-but who's counting? Not I - twitch - not much - twitch - abibble - twitch - ababble - twitch. Excuse me, I have to go scream in a closet. - S
Finally I can comment on-line! Greetings from the East Coast! I think you must have been boning up in Professor Trelawney's class, MB! Your story is beginning to make my hair stand on end! Waiting eagerly for Ch-10!

Author's Response: Yay! Welcome to MNFF!! ((Waves to you from Washington, DC)) I'm so glad you find everything plausible - I'm doing my best to keep it grounded even though the ending is gonna be, um, "absolutely nuts" would be an appropriate phrase. I've already got a bunch of Chapter 10 already written, so hang in there :).
Sorry. . .wrote last message before I found this chapter. I'm not twitching anymore; I'm on my knees weeping for the most amazing boy that ever lived. . . Oh God, how sad you've made me.
I'm impressed! It must take a long time for a chapter to be posted, though! Looking forward to 2!
Author's Response: Thank you! Yeah, it usually takes a few days. I sent in chapter 2 some weeks ago, but I had a couple word usage errors. *hangs head in shame* I corrected those though, so hopefully it'll be better this time. I hope you stick with my story!
How extraordinarily beautiful! How sad that people who work behind the scenes are usually forgotten, though the roles they play - and the memories they harbor - are as important as the deeds that made them.
Thanks for the feedback! I didn't even know the story had been published yet. It's not very good, but it's my first HP fic and I hope to do better in the future!
"If there was anything that Vernon Dursley did not like- aside from slow cars, warm beer and vegetables- it was being left out of the loop." Now *there's* some humor I can appreciate! Liking this!
