Update: To Rekindle the Flame is complete and I'm currently working on the sequel, To Find the Truth and a Seamus/OC romance fic. Stay tuned!

I am an adult Harry Potter addict, which is one of the safer addictions to date (chocolate and fanfiction are also safe addictions). Hmm, what else? I love to read and write in my spare time, although lately I have become attached to sleeping and knitting also. My life is chaotic but routine which causes my updates to be less frequent than what I would like, so I apologize for that.

anyway, if you decide to visit, please let me know whether you enjoyed your stay or not. I know the neighbors can be rather distracting and I do keep reminding the help to put fresh flowers in the window but they do often forget. What can you do? The problems finding good help these days is ridiculous I say!

I am so glad that Alex and Julia talked about Max. I was worried Alex would just keep everything all bottled up and not let anyone help her grieve. I still don't believe Max is truly dead...his death is a perfect cover for him to become an active member of the Thorn Circle without being under suspicion.
Alex really needs to have a big conversation with her mother now, despite her mother's wish to remain ignorant of the wizarding world. Alex needs her mom to help her cope with the loss of Max and allowing her to visit the Kings over the summer would be good for both Alex and Julia.
The cliffhanger is fabulously frustrating. I wonder if Abraham Thorn now has the last piece he needed to bring the Confederation down and he has now begun his assault. I'm worried that Grimm is going to do something horrible to Alex...like isolate her or something. I have been wondering for a while if the Dean and her sister have ever used their 'twinness' to exchange places or impersonate each other...this appears to be an instance where that would benefit Alex quite well.
In any case, an excellent chapter. The memorial service, meeting the White's, Martin's request to assist the girls...it was all written so well. Can't wait to see what happens next! Have you finished the next story already?

YAY!! I'm so glad you're writing another Tonks/Remus story because you write them both so perfectly. I can't wait to see where you take this story, it's starting out so deliciously dark!

Author's Response: Thank you so much! The story will go in very interesting directions. I couldn't resist having Tonks fall for Remus all over again. ;)

I'm really anxious to see what reaction Tonks has to Lupin's words. I also like the new summary, I just watched the Princess Bride the other day...

Author's Response:

Yay, you like the new summary! I'd used that line in the A/N of the first chapter and in describing the story to people, I should've used it from the beginning.

Tonks might surprise you with her reaction. :)
