Nothing for Christmas by Mind_Over_Matter

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: Christmas is fast approaching, and Molly Weasley has never been busier. Ginny is two, Ron is three, the twins are five, Percy is seven, Charlie just turned eleven and Bill turned thirteen in November, so there is no wonder poor Molly has her hands full.

To top it all off, as Christmas approaches so does the gathering Molly and Arthur are to host on Christmas day: the first ever family reunion since the first war, which ended only a couple of years ago, for either the Prewetts or the Weasleys… This Christmas is going to take a miracle to get through...

AND hearty thanks to HermyRox12 for her QsQ nimination. The twins send a toast-by-owl from the Christmas party.

This is wonderful-I'm really enjoying it! I look forward to another chapter.
-Daisy

Author's Response: I actually don\'t consider this to be at all the most interesting chapter, but I\'m glad it\'s still fun! The next chapter should be up... soon. Two weeks tops, at this stage.

Too Late by GwendolynJames

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: I can’t wait any longer. If I wait, I won’t go. I have to go.
Reviewer: DaisyMaeEvans Signed
Date: 06/02/06 Title: Chapter 1: Too Late

That was absolutely gorgeous. I think every married couple goes through such a period in their relationship-the volitile nature of Ron and Hermione's, not to mention the fact that they are both so stubborn and strong-willed, makes it almost inevitable for them. Very realistic and well-written.

This is beautiful-very honest and strong. Thank you for revealing the layers of a very complicated charcter.

The Things They Carry by SecretKeeper

The Logic Problem by Vorona

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: Summary: In a detention with Professor Snape during her sixth year, Hermione learns an important lesson about the use of logic against Dark wizards. But will Snape learn something even more important from her? Half-Blood Prince compliant.
Reviewer: DaisyMaeEvans Signed
Date: 12/22/06 Title: Chapter 1: (one shot)

I'm impressed! I've always LOVED Hermione's character, but I do agree that one of her main weaknesses is her innate faith in her own intelligence. She does have a slight bit of arrogance, and I can see how that would be a problem in a battle situation. Good work!
-Daisy

Author's Response: Thanks. I\'m not sure it\'s faith in her intelligence so much as not being able to see obvious options that she has (thinking of how she forgets she can make \"sunlight\" in the first book) - that is, she has trouble thinking on her feet. I have that problem, myself, and it really would be important in battle situations. I\'m glad you liked it!

Porcelain Doll by silver_tears

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: Pansy had once laughed at those other girls who were obsessed with the way they looked. She now knew that the line separating the normal world from the other – the world no one ever talked about – that line was too thin to be noticed; once she’d trodden beyond that point, there would be no going back.

The road to perfection is too rough to attain and porcelain dolls break from the pressure of it.

A Winter Miracle challenge, written by silver_tears for Slytherin house.
