This is very well-written. You took an idea that most people (including me) would've never thought of and turned it into a great story. I think you captured Harry, Ginny, and Hedwig's feelings very well. I especially liked the ending, where he eventually signs it "Love, Harry". Great job!
~JBV

Author's Response: Thanks for the review :) I\'m glad you like the story :D Chris

This is a good story! Like everyone else says, it's really sweet. I don't think it's too short, though. Keep writing!

This is a great poem! I loved the hippogriffs' names, too. Poetry's never really been my thing, but I really like this one. Great job and good luck in the challenge, Gina!
~JBV

Author's Response: Hi there! Thank you so much for stopping to read this poem! I\'m so glad you liked it. Poetry\'s not really mine thing either, except around Ravenclaw. ;) But I had such a good model to work with on this one and a fun story to tell so I thought I\'d go for it. I\'m glad you enjoyed the hippogriff\'s names as well, that was fun! Thanks again for reading and leaving such a lovely review!! ~Gina :)

Great story! I've never seen one about what happened that day. It was very interesting to read your take on Sirius and Peter's encounter and their feelings. I liked the way you tied in Peter's cowardice with some cleverness, because I truly believe that Peter was not as clumsy and stupid as most authors make him out to be. Great job!
~JBV

Author's Response: Thank you. I remember reading something about how some writers make Peter into this meek and off-to-the-side type of character, and that is wrong because he was a Marauder, so I figured that he must have some brains. Plus, aren\'t rats typically symbolic of sneakiness?

Worth Having by stelladarcy

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: The steady thrum of her heart sustains her as all the words she wishes she were brave enough to say crowd about on the tip of her tongue. All left unspoken. She is a charlatan, a liar, and most of all, a coward. Oh yes, she is a very clever girl, too clever by far. But afraid by more. Ron/Hermione

This is so sweet! I love how you tie in the grandmother with the same name at the end. All of your characters were very in-character and the Familius Charm was really neat. This is a great story! You are obviously a very talented writer. Good job!
~JBV

Lily Did You Know? by Madame Marauder

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: For the Winter's Tale "A Christmas Carol: Parody" by Madame Marauder of Gryffindor House. A parody to the song "Mary Did You Know?"
Reviewer: Just Beyond the Veil Signed
Date: 12/22/06 Title: Chapter 1: Lily Did You Know?

You did a great job with this! It really made me think about how much Harry has already gone through and how much more he has to do. It was perfect! Good luck in the challenge!
~JBV

Author's Response: Thank you, I\'m glad it made you think. Everyone assumes that parodies are meant to be funny, but you can take the challenge seriously and write something else. Thanks for your review and well-wishing!

Anorexia by StepUpTimneh

Rated: 6th-7th Years •
Summary: Ginny battles with Anorexia Nervosa after who true love deserts her.
Reviewer: Just Beyond the Veil Signed
Date: 01/08/07 Title: Chapter 1: Anorexia

Wow! This is extremely well-written and very true to the effects of anorexia. Although I have never suffered from an eating disorder, I have read many accounts by girls who have, and your story is spot-on. Your characterization of Ginny as she struggles with her disease is very accurate and believeable. I really can't find nitpicks or anything at all to give you, even any grammatical errors. Great job!
~JBV

Author's Response: Your review meant a lot. Thank you so much, I tried my best to make it real.

This is so sweet! I love Remus/Tonks, but I don't usually read them anymore because it seems like all the plots are the same. Yours was different, and I really liked it. Your descriptions and all the little details are wonderful. Great job with this!
