Hello loves, I'm Allie! You've obviously reached this page through grave error or through curiosity. I would urge you to turn back now, but unfortunately, it seems to be too late. =)

About me: I am a writer and an avid reader here on MNFF and other various sites as well. I am an ex-beta reader, drabbler, artist, duelist, TWSer, SBBCer, and my recent project is running the Gryffindor Review Crew with my fellow crewbee Claire so please, take pity on a poor author and leave a review. Updates may be slow in coming because SOMEONE deleted all my notes for my stories off my computer and plot lines has been lost and tangled hopelessly beyond repair. However, there may be some poetry and one-shots headed your way soon.

You can find me on the boards under the pen name dragonwings, so give me a PM if you want to talk!

Please read and most importantly, REVIEW! I love reviews, don't you? I get such a warm, fuzzy feeling inside. =)

Harry Potter and The Unlikely Gryffindor by Hera Malfoy

Rated: 6th-7th Years •
Summary: Once upon a time, she had a family. Twice upon a time, she had everything stolen from her. Thrice upon a time, she was lost and found. Now she must prove herself, and either fall to the darkness, or rise to the light. (Post HBP, Spoilers abound.)

oooo! I like it! It's very attention catching and Hera sounds interesting. (thinking out loud and wondering whether she's a snob or not...) Anyways, can't wait for an update!

Behind those Emerald Eyes by makinmagic323

Rated: 6th-7th Years •
Summary: Ten years have elapsed since Dumbledore's death and McGonagall has Hogwarts back on its feet again. Hermione and Malfoy both teach at the school. But when a new teacher is hired to teach Defense Against the Dark Arts, everyone seems to feel that they've met him before. A story of mystery, passion, friendship, and jealousy… not to mention that Harry Potter has been missing for ten years and Voldemort is dead. (All violence is mild).

The Dark Lord's Blog by Schmerg_The_Impaler

Rated: 1st-2nd Years • Past Featured Story
Summary: What does Lord Voldemort do in his spare time? Well, that's an excellent question. Who would have known that the Dark Lord has a blog? (He also has a loyal following of readers, most of whom are Death Eaters and who post their comments.) Voldemort dispenses advice on everything from murder methods to germ protection to Power Rangers to shoes, and gives an account of the life of an evil overlord. But is he posting too much personal information online? And will Harry read it and find out more about the Dark Lord than Voldemort ever intended? Read and see.

WARNING: Extremely OOC behaviour from almost all.

Aww, I loved this story! Mostly 'cuz of the poptart thing. (I've been responsible for the death of our past three toasters. I swear, they were on their way out anyways! ;)

Author's Response: Teehee... I\'m guilty of killing toasters, myself.

Reach the Open Space by Tinn Tam

I love this story so friggen much! i love how harry just sort of, let go, it was a touch that set the mood story, and the story was fantastic. i symphasize with harry, if i was him, i probably would've screamed at the minister, ripped his eyes out or something, than killed him. it's not that i'm insane, it's just that i hate being told what to do. =) anyways, great story! and i'm looking for your work in the future

Author's Response: Thanks a lot, and I don\'t think you\'re insane. Harry\'s not insane either :). Ripping his eyes out would have been messy as hell, but thanks for the suggestion :D !

The Ballad of Lucius Malfoy: An Unappealing Appeal by Schmerg_The_Impaler

Okay, phew! I'm done! Omg I love this poem so much! No exploding toasters though, lol. Because I’m oh-so sensitive
After every killing spree,
Instead of bragging in pubs
I write heartfelt poetry."- Favorite stanza of all time. Seriously.

Author's Response: Ah, thank you! The stanza you liked was inspired by the Enlightened Cops from Douglas Adams\'s \"A Hitchhiker\'s Guide To The Galaxy.\"

Uncle Fred Calls Him Dick by MagEd

Rated: 6th-7th Years • Past Featured Story
Summary: 2008 QSQ Awards Runner-up for Best Post-Hogwarts

Harry defeated Voldemort. Harry married Ginny. Harry and Ginny had five children. Harry disappeared. My name is Lily Potter, and this is the story of what happened when my father returned after six years missing to find my mother about to re-marry. This is the story of myself, my crazy family, and most of all, this is the story of my parents and the man who tried to come between them. (pre-Deathly Hallows)

This is probably the best Harry-goes-missing story that I've ever read!!! :) Dick, I mean Rick is the perfect @$$#0!% fiance and I felt ready to kill him for hurting Molly like that! I have to admit it, it's sort of hard keeping all the names straight, but Harry would name all his kids after Sirius and James, etc. Oh, and the part that made the stor- the San Francisco part.

*HUGE GRIN* SF REPRESeNT! YOU KNOW!!! Sorry, but SF has to be the best city in the US (:

Author's Response: Would it be safe to assume you\'re from San Francisco? I\'ll be honest with you--I\'ve never been, but have always wanted to visit . . . which is why it\'s in the story! Thanks for the review, I\'m glad you like it so much! I know, keeping all their names straight it confusing, but if you go to my profile page, there\'s a chart (for lack of a better term) that clarifies everything.

A Past Reclaimed by nuw255

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: Sequel to A Stolen Past. Please read that story first, as this one really won’t make sense if you don’t.

Harry Potter has rejoined the Wizarding world after a year-long absence, but still has no memory of his time at Hogwarts. Will he ever get his memory back? Will he be able to pass his classes without it? And most importantly, will he ever be able to defeat Lord Voldemort? Read on as the last of the mysteries introduced in A Stolen Past are finally revealed.

This is a story of friendship and mystery, with a healthy dose of H/G thrown in for good measure.

Hm, lol I think it's time for me to finally leave a review! Something I probably should've done about three chapters ago... Anyways, this is probably my favorite chapter out of the entire story! It was beautifully written, and the 'mini-plot' was terrifically carried out. Everything was in its place this chapter, and I applaud you for that! So, all in all- great story! I'm going to keep looking for it, and I can't wait for the next chapter!

Author's Response: Thanks! It\'s always nice to get a review, especially one as nice as this. :-) I\'m glad you enjoyed the chapter!

I love the ending!!! I was grinning so hard when Sirius said, “Do you see that, Harry?” he asked solemnly. “It’s a curtain. A curtain! Here’s a life lesson for you from your godfather: it would take a whole lot more than a bloody curtain to kill off Sirius Black!”- probably THE best line in this entire story! Congratulations on completing this, and I'm going to watch out for any possible future works!

Author's Response: I\'ve been planning that line FOREVER! I\'m glad you enjoyed it. Thank you for following the story and letting me know your thoughts.

That was so, so sad... I almost cried. I wish that she could've saved Draco, but at the same time I really liked the ending it was more realistic in the sense that Draco can be too stubborn for his own good sometimes. It was heart-wrenching to see his fate though. Why did Hermione come and see him sooner though? She still loved him when Harry and Ron came to rescue her, so why didn't she go back for him? Anyways, great one-shot, I really liked it!

Aww! They finally got married! I love Ariadne's character and the say you portray her. This is a great story- really innocent and sweet.

Harry Potter has borne pain that no being was ever meant to suffer. We have walked with him as he has fought for light and hope. Now, let us walk as him through this little poem as he reveals the lessons he's learnt, relieves the pain he's felt, and gazes out as to what lies before, behind, and ahead.

In order to liven things up, Siriusmakes a few predictions without the aid of tea leaves. For Sirius by to_the_stage93

Summary: Three nights after Sirius died, Remus Lupin went to Grimmauld Place with the intentions of honoring his friend as Sirius wished to be honored after death- by getting drunk and getting a girl. But little did he know that Nymphadora Tonks, also stricken with grief, would be there, attempting to cope with her new and unfamiliar feelings of grief. As they honor Sirius together, and for one night live the life he had lived, they learn of the comfort of love in a dark world where every day can be their last, and of the pain love can mean when the dream can't come true.

If by tc015

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: Honorable Mention in the December Poetry Contest

Based off of e.e. cumming's "If", this tells of Harry's feeling about Ginny and about how everything bad thing that has happened to them is what makes their relationship so perfect.
Reviewer: dragonwings Signed
Date: 05/07/07 Title: Chapter 1: Chapter 1

Clever! I have to admit to have never read the other If but this If was fantastic! I like the "changing repetition"- "I wouldn't be I/ You wouldn't be you/ We wouldn't be we" It adds a lot fo the poem's general rythym. Some of the rhyming was off and that threw off the general rhythm a lot, but other than that, I had a lot of fun reading it! This definitely deserved an honorable mention- or higher!
~Allie of the Gryffindor Review Crew

Author's Response: Thanks! I loved e.e. cumming\'s original poem, and it shouted for me to parody it. I know I need to revise the rhyme; it\'s my weakest point in writing poetry. Thanks again for the review. ~ Teresa

Please, please forgive me by PhoenixWriter

Rated: 6th-7th Years •
Summary: The ground was muddy and soaked by the heavy rain. Thick raindrops hit her face, wetting her clothes, but she didn’t feel it. Numbness was all she felt. She saw it happening, disbelieving. She saw how the light emerged from the tip of her wand and formed a mist around the sixteen year-old boy who stood a few steps from her. The dark trees around them made this night even darker than it already was.

Very mysterious... You very acurately describe the confusion that Hermione would be facing in waking up in a strange place.

One Hour by SimplyMe

Rated: 6th-7th Years •
Summary: ‘She told me I could have anything. I asked her for one hour. One entire hour where she would be completely mine. I only hope no one will ever find out, not even her.’
Reviewer: dragonwings Signed
Date: 01/15/07 Title: Chapter 1: One Hour

That was a fantastic story, it really threw me off when it turned out to be Pansy. I hope you continue this, because there's lot of possibilities here...

Author's Response: Yay! I love it when people are surprised by my little twist! The more reviewers tell me, the more I\'m starting to realise the many possibilities of this plot. And truth be told, I left a small window in this one-shot that could be an open door to one or a few more chapters. Right now, no one picked up this little \'clue\' but this was more for me than for the readers and was part of another ending (I changed it shortly after). But I\'m always a little hesitant about multi-chaptered stories since my schedule is very unpredictable and I don\'t want to make people wait without any good reason... Anyway, thanks again!

Smells Like Sirius Black by Soap

Rated: Professors •
Summary: Hermione Granger finds herself in an unusual place, an unusual time for that matter. Carry On Wayward Son by BeautifulDreamer07

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: Harry Potter has just lost the last person who stood between him and Voldemort. Dumbledore respresented everything good and worth living for in Harry's life. With him gone, Harry is more alone than he ever thought he could be. Or so he thinks...

A one-shot loosely based around the chorus of the song Carry on Wayward Son by Kansas. It explores Harry's feelings after the events of HBP. Character death is hinted at.

Disclaimer: JK Rowling owns Harry Potter. Kansas owns Carry On Wayward Son.
Reviewer: dragonwings Signed
Date: 04/29/08 Title: Chapter 1: Carry On Wayward Son

This was so sweet and angsty, Hallie! Honestly, I'm tearing up here!

This piece here you could've literally taken out of the books. Harry is so confused and emotionally drained throughout the seventh book, yet J.K. rarely puts that in straight words and leaves it up to us to pick that out. You've laid out that emotion and raw feeling for all of us to see and feel here.

I can see where your love for music has influenced you here, Hallie! That description of Harry hearing the music was so powerful and vivid. Music is one of those things that is so hard to describe but I think that you do admirably here!

There are very few things to critique on. Your grammar is great per usual and I don't see any of those dreaded typos... Great job!
~Allie

Author's Response: Awws! Thank you Allie! :D I haven\'t gotten a review in so long...this just makes my day! *huggles*
