Hello!

I'm Pooja, a twenty-two year-old Indian. I'm a die-hard fan of Harry Potter, a Shahid Kapoor Varun Dhawan lover, and very proud Hufflepuff.

I'm in Med college now, and I stay away from home. I really hope to continue writing even after I become a doctor. :)

I'm fond of reading, singing and six years ago, I discovered my fondness for fanfiction writing too. I'm much better now than I was when I came here, but I still think there's much room for improvement as far as my writing is concerned.

My all-time OTP is Ron/Hermione. I love this couple to death, even with my limited number of stories about them.

I am slowly starting to try stuff I've never tried writing before. I find that I quite enjoy writing slash these days.

Anyway, here are some of my stories, sorted out for you:

SERIES

I've got two series out here. The first one is a trio era series (though the sequel to the first novel is OC based) and the second one is next-gen. Here's some information about these:

1. TRIO ERA (PRE-DH)

Ha! I don't have a name for this one. I think I should come up with one soon, though. This series is COMPLETE.

Killer Instincts: Complete, with H/G and R/Hr as the primary ships.

Where Are You? Complete. This is the sequel to KI but it only follows my OCs from Killer Instincts-- Daisy, Chris, Cheryl and Pari. Yes, it's a completely OC based story.

Companion fics (one-shots, all featuring Anurag Krishnan):
a. Mum's the World (pre-WAY)
b. Face Value (pre-WAY)
c. At the End of the Tunnel (post-WAY)

2. TRIO ERA SERIES (POST-DH)
This is a recent series of mine and it complies with DH, as opposed to the Killer Instincts series.

Plum Cake: This takes place during DH. It's Hermione's birthday in 1997, and the trio is camping.

Ready or Not: H/G + R/Hr, and I'm currently writing this fic. It's going to be novel-length. It's a romantic mystery. :)

Lilttle Angel Wings R/Hr story, depicting their marital problems. Complete.

3. YEARS FIVE AND SIX: SCORPIUS MALFOY, ROSE WEASLEY AND ALBUS POTTER

Black With a Hint of Red A mystery novella which was written for a challenge. I must say, I'm rather proud of this one!

Transcendent Affection: The sequel to BWHR, with a few other twists. This is a mystery too.

4. ROSE AND SCORPIUS SERIES

His Hero: Rose/Scorpius one-shot.

I Know Why You Smile: Scorpius and Rose encounter some relationship problems. (Scorpius/ Rose and Scorpius/Victoire)

CHAPTERED STORIES

Coup de grace: Incomplete, on an indefinite hiatus but I don't think I'd label it 'ababdoned' YET.

When the Rose Fell: I'm co-authoring this with my sis, Nadia/majestic_ginny. It's a Scorose. :)

ONE-SHOTS

There are some really old ones here and that is not what I write like now. :p

Trio Era:

Plum Cake (R/Hr)

A Stolen Kiss (Cedric/Penelope)

It's Called Sweet Vengeance (R/Hr)

The Champion (Cedric Diggory)

Flawed (Padma/OC)

The Crush (Seamus/Lavender)

Inside Out (Padma/Penelope)

Older fics--

Inanity Over a Hairstyle (Ginny)

Next-Gen

Battered Heart (Hugo/OC)

Testimony (Scorpius/Hugo)

His Hero (Scorpius/Rose)

Cold Feet (Scorpius/ Hugo)

Eastern Dawn Stars (Scorpius/ OC)

The Maimed Reflection (Albus Potter)

Miscellaneous:

Mum's the World (Anurag Krishnan-- my OC)

Sapphires (Various Pairings)

Rubies (Sequel to Sapphires, various pairings)

Princess (written for an OC challenge, Dark/Angst)

Face Value (Sequel to 'Mum's the World, Anurag Krishnan, other pairings

At the End of the Tunnel (Anurag Krishnan, spoils Where Are You?)

POETRY

Now, I haven't got very good stuff here. My best is 'While He Leaves'. The rest probably aren't even poetry with the haphazardly fashion that they've been written in. Anyway--

While He Leaves (R/Hr)

Fun in the Romantic Rain (R/Hr)

Little Loony by miss padfoot

Summary: Ever wondered what turned Luna into a loony? One-shot.

Oh, it is such a cute sort of fic; father-daughter types, I loved it! It's really touching to read what Marvin can really do for his daughter and how special she is for him. Especially after Luna's mum died. Really nice... well done!

Author's Response: Aw, thanks, Ginny! :D

Senses by Gryffinpuff

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: Sense: a word of so many meanings. This is a story about senses. The common sense notion of self preservation that is lost when friends are in need, the senses of the body that can be damaged so easily, and the intuitive senses of the heart that tell you when things have changed. R/Hr focused with a little bit of H/G, not a lot of fluff, with rotating views between the characters on a truly horrific day.

Quicksilver Quills Runner-Up - Best Romance, Canon
Reviewer: Ginny Weasley Potter Signed
Date: 05/04/07 Title: Chapter 1: Dulling of the Senses

I did not catch up with the results of those awards, because I was probably concentrating on my exams at that time, but after reading this fic (all in one sitting, so forgive me for not reviewing each and every chapter), I’ll say that it deserved the award. The story was very, very different from the ones I have read till now. You have brought out the feelings in the minds of Harry, Ginny, Ron and Hermione in a very smooth, tender manner. One might debate that this belonged to the dark/angst category, but I can see your reasons for placing it in this category instead. It is romance in a very different kind of atmosphere. The setting, which is at night, adds to the grandeur of the quality of romance that you have exploited. The entire story went on in a very slow, gentle way, explaining every single emotion, every single thought and every physical feeling. Your writing style is marvellous. It keeps the reader intact and pulls them into the story. You have expressed and explored love, friendship, humanity and death, and yet, you have left it undefined. You have left the reader to sink even more deeply into the mystery of all these human aspects.

I would also like to praise you for the use of words. You have explained every single thing- every atmosphere, every face. You have explained guilt, sadness, happiness, attraction, worry, grief… everything in a very spell-binding way. You have not left a single scar on Hermione’s face and you have not missed a single tear that splashed down Ron’s cheek. You have not abandoned your explanation of Ron’s new-found (well, he was too naïve to realise that he loved Hermione before now) feelings towards Hermione. It is a very deep discovery of Jo’s world and we all know that Jo may not go in for exploring Ron and Hermione’s thoughts in Book 7; she will be more inclined on writing Harry’s feelings, because in her books, Harry is usually the protagonist. Apart from all this, you have elucidated the effect of love on the boys- Harry’s burst of magic when it came to protecting Ginny and Ron’s own wand-less magic when he saw Hermione suffering; and yet, the feeling of disgust on performing Dark Magic. You have simply made it clear that love is very powerful and this love can make you do things that you wouldn’t imagine doing even in your dizziest daydreams.

I also congratulate you on your characterisation. Harry is not romantic. He is tactless, slightly insensitive and short tempered. Yet, you have brought out the hidden love in his heart. You have released it and matured him in a day. You have made him realise his feelings for Ginny and his own friends. I loved it. Then again, you have proved that Ron and Hermione are true Gryffindors. ‘Courage, truly, is not the absence of fear, it is the will to face reality’ (I think this was mentioned in one of the HP books. I searched through them, but I can’t find the actual quote). They are scared, but they are not running away. They are ready to face whatever fate is set in store for them. They are ready to sacrifice their lives for their best friend. Snape, as you have written is proven to be human. He understands Hermione’s feelings and decides to protect her. We all know that he is hanging down a cliff and can barely do anything, but he did something, for another human being. You have separated the character of Snape from that of Voldemort. I, in my experience of writing fanfiction, have noticed the similarities between these two characters and had to take the help of my Beta to bring in that slight difference. But you have proved an expert at doing so.

Lastly, I would like to applaud you for the ending. The ending was mysterious… it said that nothing is over, as yet. We still have our entire life ahead of us and this is just the beginning. Bigger troubles will come and we must face them bravely. I thought, for a moment, that it was Hermione’s funeral in the end, and was slightly surprised when it turned out to be Mrs. Weasley’s instead. After that, you sent Ron to the hospital. The Ron before this incident would have poured everything into Hermione, but the new, adult Ron maintains silence, letting Hermione pick up the facts on her own. And the last words were very, very beautiful.

Once again, it was a very touching, marvellous fic and hats off, to your wonderful writing style. Once again, I apologise for not reviewing every single chapter and I guess this is a very long review. I couldn’t help but analyse your fic and praise you for it. The praise, as you see, has been very long (my longest review, though, was for a school project. We were to read any book of Jane Austen and review it and I read Pride and Prejudice. The review turned out to be fourteen pages long, earning popping eyes from my classmates). Keep up the good work, and just a question: are you planning a sequel? Anyway, cheers! :) ~Pooja.

PS: One of my OCs is named as Ashley. She’s one of my favourite characters and has quite a role in my Book7 fic.

My Inspiration by PadfootBaby

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: How does J. K. Rowling feel on an off day, when she feels uninspired and sick of Harry? How will she feel, though when the whole series is done, when the journey is over? This poem explores the answers to these questions, trying to see it from her point of view.

Hmmm, nice poem, I'll say. But I seriously hop Jo writes Book 8 too... I don't want it to end. Did you know that Conan Doyls, who wrote Sherlock Holmes also killed off Holmes when he was sick of it? Then his fans bugged him and bugged him to bring Holmes back to life. He actually did it (The Return of Sherlock Holmes). I hope JKR will do that ;)

Author's Response: I doubt it, but yeah, that would be really nice. (I have a feeling she\'s going to kill off Harry in the end, though...) Thanks for the review!!

Yay! You have started writing again! I liked this fic too, coz for a change, Ron and Hermione have come to the forefront. Otherwise, it is just always Harry the Hero who does everything... good one!

No Turning Back by aliweasley

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: After the last battle, can the survivors deal with the pain of losing their most beloved friend?

Not fully a romance, but with just enough fluff thrown in it can qualify. It is definetly a bittersweet story with moslty Ron/Hermione but with a teensy bit of Harry/Ginny. Bring a tissue! One-shot. Fully revised, finally! R&R

This fic made me cry! It is wonderful! As it is, it was all rainy and gloomy in my place, and on top of that, I was upset over something, and just needed a little weep. I guess this did it! Keep up the good work!

Author's Response: Thank you! I\'m glad I was able to help!!

A Dream Wedding by blacsilver_serpent

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: An excerpt from the story:
A silver-white stream of flame wrapped itself around his and her hands. Ginny’s hand found Harry’s and Harry felt warmth spreading through his body. As the flames evaporated, they unclasped their hands. Their hands which held a rose petal earlier now held a silver ring. He took the ring on his palm and put it on her left ring finger and she did the same.

That was so cute and so beautiful... I loved your minute description of everything. The introduction really woke me up and freshened me, even though I'm reviewing this at 10:15pm. Why did Harry cry, though? Is there anything wrong? I mean, he must have had loads of dreams like this, right? Anyway, it was a really good, relaxing read and I thoroughly enjoyed every word. Unbelieveble expertise!

I AM a Killer by Cruciatus Love

Summary: Draco Malfoy has had enough of everyone telling him who he is. He's had enough of other people wanting him to be who they want him to be. Obliviate by Emerald_Eyes

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: When he died I couldn’t accept it, it was like everything I knew was wrong, and all my nightmares came true, because of something which seemed unreal, to me anyhow. I couldn’t go on living like I was waking up to nothing. I had to do something to change it, and I did.

Excerpt:

He’d died and left me alone and it was his entire fault. He should have fought harder and if he really did love me he would have lived. He wouldn’t have died like that, he was stronger. He was a legend everyone in the whole world knew about and a stupid avalanche had killed him. It was wrong. It was unreal – it hadn’t happened.

He couldn’t be dead. Just couldn’t.
