Hello! I've been enjoying these fan fictions for a while now, and I thought that I would try my hand at writing a couple of them. I'm from Canada, and since I mentioned that if I had a pet I would tell you about it, I now have an 8-month old puppy named Kikia, which supposedly means silly dog in some language or other. She is a german shepard lab cross that was rescued from the pound, and she enjoys chewing anything withing reach and being generally psychotic. I plan to add more here eventually, but school has been ever so full of homework, and I haven't had time for my own amusement.

The Simple Evolution of a Faceless Butterfly by Seren

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: In the evolution of a person, our personality grows, shifts, dies and is reborn again. Our views morph and grow, like a butterfly from its cocoon. But there's a price to pay for everything. Evolution is always painful. Contains Blaise/Hermione and Neville/Padma. Pre-HBP.

I thought this story was wonderful, an interesting take on interhouse unity. I'm very, very anxious to read the next chapter!

Harry Potter -- This Is Your Life! by Trucker

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: When I was a kid, I loved a TV show called This is Your Life. According to www.museum.tv, “Ralph Edwards... developed the formula for a separate radio program called This is Your Life. It began airing on radio in 1948, and became a live television program in 1952, running on the NBC network until 1961, and reappearing in syndicated versions briefly in the early 1970s and 1980s.”

So, I got to thinking about someone in the wizarding world deciding to do the same concept on the Wizarding Wireless Network. Of course someone would insist on doing an episode with Harry, right?

Note: This is Version 2, with more guests on the show!

I haven't heard of this radio show, but after reading this I wish that I had. I love the little twist at the end, and I especially love Fred and George begging their mother, Bill and Fleur for mercy! Great work!

Something Out of Nature by stardust

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: Remus Lupin and Lily Evans run into each other in Diagon Alley and have a pleasant talk over a pleasant meal. Two friends discuss cabbages and kings to wear out a long lunch hour, and end up discovering things about each other’s lives that neither had had a chance to glean before. (Oneshot. This is my first fic, so reviews are very much appreciated!)

There is no possible way that this story could be considered a waste of time! I thought it was beautifully written and and I wanted to laugh and cry simultaneously. Fantastic!

Author's Response: Thank you very much! And I\'m so chuffed that you saw the humor in it, I don\'t fare too well with comedy so it really makes me smile that it almost coaxed one from you. =)

Sliding Drawers by Loup_garou

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: It is argued that the most minuscule of occurrences can shape the course of history irrevocably. Butterflies flapping their wings overzealously, missing a train/forcing open the sliding doors of a train and catching it/getting your finger stuck in the sliding doors of a train as you attempt to force them open and having to run alongside it for the duration of the journey as an alternative to having it ripped off…and other such minutiae. Thus it was that, on a cold, wet night seventeen years ago, in a room above the bar at the Hog’s Head Inn, that Severus Snape made his (skid)mark. The History of the Potterverse is now at stake, and it remains for Lily Potter (with a little help from Lupin) to sort it all out. BE YE WARNED - this story contains pants. Underpants. (This story is intended as a bit of light-hearted fun and should be read as such, even if it is rather OOC!) Final chapter is up! Gather round, my children, and witness the astonishing finale!

I was killing myself laughing the whole way through, it was really well written! I have to say though...Snape in a lacy black thong? I've got nightmares now. I can't wait for the next chapter!

Author's Response: Thanks! Actually I got the inspiration for Snape in a thong from a website I stumbled across, which was a coincidence as I\'d already written 2 chapters by then! You can see it here, it\'s really witty fan art. http://www.redscharlach.co.uk/snapessecretsicon.jpg

Revelation I:I by Ada Kensington

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: While on the hunt for the Ravenclaw Horcrux, in a secluded glade in the Forbidden Forest, Harry Potter has a chat with Death.

I have to say that I have never read anything like this before. Your portrayal of death was incredible, to say the least- I especially like the way that Harry wants to run away, but realises that he doesn't need to be afraid. Beautiful.
