Muahaha, my friends make fun of me for being the biggest Harry Potter dork but what can I say? I have good taste. ^.^

My absolute favorite couple in the whole world is Sirius/Remus. I love dark fics and romance, fluffy or non-fluffy. I adore reading fics about characters behind the scenes, particularly evil ones.

I write myself, although I'm not even worthy of being posted alongside some of the authors on this site. But I love writing, especially HP fanfiction so I shall continue to post my stories as long as I can concoct new ones in this whirlwind brain of mine.

Sirius and Remus forever!~

Hehehe, I liked it a lot. It made me laugh and I loved how you tied it in with THE Christmas present that all Sirius/Remus shippers love.

It has a pretty solid plot and both the puppies are in character. I was wondering about James though...I always imagined him to be an understanding person because of how he accepted Remus being a werewolf and all.

Overall, it's really good (and hilarious). ^.^

"Mr. Padfoot accepts this request and will certainly do so, and dearly hopes it will not be the only thing blown tonight."

I have to point out how much I love that line. It gave me quite a laugh. ^.~

Ooh, I like it! It's a nice little Sirius and Remus fic, which are my absolute favorite. The plot is solid and Remus is well in character. He's so practical and down-to-earth, just like Remus in the books.

I liked how subtle it was. It wasn't overly sappy or fluffy, which is a problem I tend to have with my own stories. All in all, a good one-shot.

You left out a letter in this sentence:

"the constant lies are *staring* to become ridiculous."

Thought I'd point that out, just in case. Keep up the good work! ^.^

Ooh, this is good. I like the conflict in Sirius' mind about Harry being James. It just seems to fit so well. I've never seen a fic written about this before. Awesome!

Ooh, I'm lovin' it so far. Unfortunately it's one in the morning so I'm way too tired to keep reading but I can't wait to come back and read more.

Love it, love it, love it. It almost feels as if I'm reading the start of the seventh book itself, that's how well your writing matches J.K's. The trio are perfectly in character, everything has a smooth flow and the plot is completely realistic.

This should definitely turn out to be a good slash fic. I like the set up, with Draco and Harry locked in a room together. Most Draco/Harry fics are rather unrealistic but this one almost seems like it could fit in with the actual book.

Awesome! Can't wait to continue it. ^.^

Wow, I'm just catching up. You have such a nice touch on this pairing. You're just so true to J.K's canon Draco and Harry. This is one of the few slashes that feels real to me and makes me want them to end up together!

I like the plot too, especially the set up of Draco and Harry stuck in a room together, finally getting a chance to get to know one another.

I'm wondering about Snape though. It always seemed to me like he was really concerned about Draco and his well-being. He treats him rather coldly in this story and I always felt like Snape wouldn't treat Malfoy in that manner, especially when they're not in front of Voldemort. But I guess it can be interpreted differently and it certainly suits this story.

Like I said before, it feels like I could be reading the seventh book in places. You've captured the essence of the books perfectly and I love how well you've kept these two in character. I really can't wait to read on and see what happens between these two.

Wicked, sweet, awesome, superb!

Dog Years by Jazz

This story is really cute. It's very realistic and the Marauders and Lily are well in character. I can't wait to read more. I'm puzzled as to whether James is proposing to Lily or what so I'm excited to find out what happens.

Wow...this'll be the third Remus/Sirius story I've added to my list in the past few days. I wish I could have left a more in-depth review but I'm dead tired at the moment so my mind isn't working properly. Anway, a very good job and keep it up! ^.^

Aww, I really like this chapter. It's really sweet and your description of their...er...fornications is really beautiful. I liked how it was indirect and whatnot. Keep it up, I can't wait to read more!

Author's Response: Hello! I would like to thank you personally for reading \"Dog Years\" here on Mugglenet and leaving me a lovely review!\r\n\r\nUnfortunately, I also come bearing bad news. I will no longer be updating the story on here, as the mods are, in my opinion, a tad too picky about canon and I really don\'t have the patience to change my story to suit their needs. I love it just the way it is, even if some references are ahead of the time frame, and if I use way too many fragments and don\'t decipher descriptions as much as they seem to want me to.\r\n\r\nIf you are indeed still interested in reading this story (and perhaps some of my other fanfiction works), you can find me at http://www.fanfiction.net/~thejazz and \"Dog Years\" is under the title \"Here\'s To The Future\". I\'ve enabled anonymous reviews, so if you are currently not a member do not feel as though you have to sign up to leave me a review!\r\n\r\nAgain, thank you SO MUCH for reviewing \"Dog Years\", and I hope you keep reading!\r\n\r\nxo Jazz

Wow...this is a really powerful piece of work. It just seems so realistic and your writing is exquisite. The plot is amazing and Harry is perfectly in character. It is such a good characterization because Harry's revenge is so real and yet he feels regret aftewards, which is exactly how I would imagine him reacting.

It almost feels like I could be reading the climax of the seventh book. Amazing.

Quite a sweet little story. It had a good, solid plot and both Remus and Tonks were well in character. You have a nice touch on romance because you don't go overboard with it.

I liked the ending as well. I didn't guess it at all! Overall, excellent job!

This fic is amazing. Narcissa has always been a character that I've been interested in and this story portrays her well. I love reading stories about characters like her behind the scenes. Overall, solid plot, good characterization and well written. Normally I don't like song fics but your song choice fits this one perfectly so A+!

This is a beautiful piece of writing. I love the way you describe Bella's actions. They fit perfectly with her character and it's awesome how you balance out her different personality changes.

I was always very curious about how Barty Crouch Junior became converted so I'm in love with the plot as well.

All in all, one stellar piece of literature. ^.^

That was so good...it has to be one of my favorite Remus/Sirius fics. The plot was amazing. I'm jealous that I couldn't come up with it myself, haha. ^.^

Remus is well in character and the best thing about it is that you don't go overboard with his thoughts and emotions. Amazing...I almost cried. You get a spot in my favorites list. :)

Author's Response: Wow! I\'m honoured, and I\'m so glad you enjoyed it! Thank you so much for this review, it feels so great to know that someone likes what I write! :)

Aww, I loved the last two chapters. I like the concept of Moony and Padfoot connecting and I like the way you described Remus as still having werewolf qualities when he first wakes up. This chapter, especially, makes me want to melt into a puddle on the floor. They are so cute together. Anyway, I can't wait to read the next chapter!

Author's Response: Sorry for the delayed response on this.
It was very purposeful, leaving Remus that way, with the Moony qualities. It\'s a little more...vicious than we usually see him.

Thanks for reading!

I finally got back to this fic after being too busy to read any fanfiction for a long time and I must say, I love this introduction back to my favorite couple!

The way you describe them together is amazing and I love how you keep all four of them in character on a consistent basis. One thing I love about this fic is the fact that everything is so real. For example, when the Marauders find out that Remus is a werewolf they are a bit uneasy in the beginning and that is totally realistic. I also love how Sirius accepts it before any of the others.

Overall, I'm really enjoying reading this and I can't wait to continue on with the next few chapters. Nice work!

Author's Response:
WELCOME BACK!

I have to say that I do try to keep them in character-within my understanding of them. Peter follows the leader, James tries to think about things before he does them, but Sirius always goes with his initial gut reaction and thinks later--if he thinks at all. Which is why he comes to decisions so much faster than the rest

I hope you continue to! Thanks for reading!

This is awesome. I loved how you looked at each individual Marauder and developed their personality before digging deep into the plot. The introduction and conclusion of this chapter are very good as well. They intrigue the reader to keep reading and I've never seen a fic with such an intro. Very neat.

Overall, it's very well written. Each person lives up to their canon character for the most part and their parents are also well written. My interpretation of Peter's character would have been different, but it's difficult to tell what he's really like inside so you did a good job with him too. I always thought of him as more mousy then sinister, but everyone looks at characters differently.

A line that I really liked was the reference to Remus having "a monster of a secret inside of him." I thought that was really funny and a good pun.

There are a few places where you left out periods, for example, this sentence:

" was finally going to be around people his age He was giddy with excitement..."

And in a few other places, there were typos and whatnot. It doesn't take away from the story or anything, I just thought I'd point it out because a lot of authors like to fix their tiny mistakes.

Like I said before, this is awesome and I can't wait to go on and read the rest of the chapters. I certainly can't wait for when things start heating up between Remus and Sirius. It's also nice how you focused the first chapter on all four of the Marauders, not just the puppies. Anyway, I'm rambling so I'll end the review here.

Superb!

Author's Response:
*loves on thoughtful review*

The intro came suddenly, actually. The closing lines for each character came first, and then I built off of that. Lots of fun

Peter. Peter was...difficult. I could have gone the typical mousy way, but the fact is that there must have been something there for the rest to have been friends with them. And to their credit, mice are actually very social. It was interesting to play him out at that age. (I also dont\' do eleven year olds very well.)

Silly me. Would correct if I had the patience. Betaing on all future chapters is promised

Erm. The next lot of chapters are sorely lacking in the other Marauders. Hope you like it anyway! Thanks for reading!

Date: 07/18/06 Title: Chapter 1: Mind, Body and Soul

I love this one too. You capture Bella's personality perfectly. I like seeing her behind the scenes, not just from Harry's point of view. It's cool to see a different side of her.

I thought you did a great job with the interactions between the two. It was exactly how I imagined their relationship to be. I also liked how Bella misunderstood him. Very original.

Awesome job!

Author's Response: Thank you very much for reading and enjoying enough to review. It is fun and cool to explore characters from something other than the Harry Lens, particularly Bella (even if she\'s not a character I\'ll do on my own; both Bella stories were the result of drabble challenges on the beta board).

Late Night Chat by fawkes_07

Summary: Sirius Black discovers that being a godfather isn't always easy, but it can certainly be rewarding...
Reviewer: Elphin Signed
Date: 07/12/06 Title: Chapter 1: Chapter 1: Late

This is certainly a different piece of work. I've never been a fan of Sirius/Harry simply because I see them as having more of a father/son relationship.

But down to the actual writing, I think you've done a really good job. You definitely have talent and I like how you wrote about something different. It's certainly a hard relationship to tackle. I liked the whole pureblood explanation and how original it was.

The only other thing I would have to say is that Harry seems a bit OOC. Then again, it's hard to write him in such a way that he would be in love with Sirius so you did a good job with him in respect to that. I thought you did an excellent job with Sirius.

Overall, it's really good. Keep going for the strange type of fics, you have a nice touch on them. ^.^

A Difficult Choice by RedheadedWeasley

Rated: 6th-7th Years •
Summary: This story is one of a very sensitive nature. Ginny has a pregnancy scare and she and Hermione must figure out how to handle this situation. WARNING: Contains discussion of abortion. If you have a problem with this issue then please do not read this story. I tried my best to keep it non-confrontational, but I would rather not risk the chance of offending anyone. There isn't a sexual situation in this story, but since I do mention sex I added that warning to be safe. Thank you very much.

I also want to say a huge and wonderfully appreciative thank you to ProfPosky for all of the help she gave me on this story. She went through multiple drafts for me and really helped me shape this story into what it wanted to be!!

Date: 07/19/06 Title: Chapter 1: A Difficult Choice

Very interesting, I can't wait to see where it goes. The plot is very original but I think the first chapter could have been a little bit longer, just to establish the story a bit more and all of that.

I've never seen anything like this before and I think it could be really intriguing to see how the issue of abortion is handled in the wizarding world. I never even thought about how those kinds of issues were treated in Potter land so kudos to you for making me think!

Overall, nice job! I can't wait to see the next chapter. :)

Author's Response: I\'m glad you liked this and want more chapters! For the moment it is completed though. I have so many other things I am working on at the moment. I do want to expand it, but I would write prequel chapters. What you see is how it would end. This was done for a DADA assignment over on the MNFF beta boards, so it wasn\'t as long or as indepth in the backstory as it would have been if this were originally a short chaptered fic. I\'ll see about adding to it soon though. I might just leave it as it is. Thanks so much for taking the time to review!
