That was a great chapter! You can really feel the comradery
between the boys. And having James completely freak out over being bald - so funny! You really brought out each of the boy's seperate personalites. Welll done and i look forward to your next update.

Even though the odds were against him, Remus found happiness at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. He had the Marauders, he was a prefect and his transformations were less horrible, thanks to his Animagi friends. What more could a teenage werewolf want? And how long could his happiness last? Remus and the Marauders prove that in the saddest of lives and darkest of times, there can still be moments of bliss.
Remus centric but with a lot of the other Marauders. This story is a romance, but has almost as much general Marauder era background and side story as romance.
Pre-HBP and DH, so some things from DH will be disregarded, as the warning indicates, but some Spoilers will be incorporated.

Well I didn't expect that (not that that is a bad thing)...but maybe just maybe this will be what it takes for Lindi to realize that Remus will not wait around forever for her. I really did like the chapter though and you can't let some readers opinion sway you or make you change your story because you know where the story is going and where you want to take it. Anxiously awaiting the next chapter!!

Great chapter! Poor Remus. He hasn'tt exactly had the best day and of course this all had to happen the day he was his "date" with Lindi. With deatheaters, Voldemort, Greyback on the loose, and the problem of the werewolf registry, Remus could use a good snogging!!!

Part of me would love to just do the fun fluffy stuff and go straight for the snogging, but I do want it to fit canon. But he could use a good snogging, couldn\'t he? *giggles*

It took me about three days to read all 29 chapters and I absolutely love your story. I think all the Marauders are in character, which I found is the problem with so many stories. I like the way you made Sirius - popular with the ladies- but not having a flavor of the week every single week. And having our favorite werewolf as the center of the plot is an excellent idea and Lindi is a great character. I just really hope they kiss already!! Thank you so much for writing such a great story!

I\'m so glad you enjoyed the first 29 chapters. :) Keeping the characters \"in character\" is so important to me, so I am thrilled you think I have managed it thus far. JKR gave us such fabulous characters I would hate to mess them up. I hope that even if I put them in unlikely situations, their reactions will still be in character. I have to have Remus as the star, because to me, he is. *loves Remus to death* And thank you for commenting so positively on Lindi. :) I\'m getting the feeling I need to be working on a kissing scene! *gasp*....nooooooo they are so close to snogging!!!! who in their right might could be knocking on the door? Well at least they FINALLY talked! And Lindi admitted Sirius was actually right about some things, haha. I thought it was really funny when Remus couldn't think about anything else but Lindi thinking about snogging him A LOT. Poor Remus, he couldn't fall in love with someone who isn't such a nutter? ... even if they are perfect for each other. It was a very emotional chapter, well done. And you must update soon!
Author's Response: Hmm…. Who said they were in their right mind? LOL Glad you got a kick out of Remus. It just seems that when anyone has wanted something for as long as he has this, that when you find out you might get it, you’d sort of focus on that, no matter how rational you usually are. That made little sense didn’t it? Well, Remus is just too cute! That’s all that matters. Poor Remus indeed! *realizes she really should stop torturing the dear boy* :) But he thinks they are perfect for each other, so he can’t really help himself. I’m so glad you liked the chapter. I'm so happy how great things are going for Remus and Lindi! It's about time too. Will you be covering "The Prank" on Snape eventually? I saw a little bit of hint with Snape so interested in where Remus goes every month and his interest in the Marauders in general. Anyway I can't wait for the next chapter!

ah...the old cliff hanger ending...great chapter and I'm glad Remus allowed Sirius to speak his mind.. It might just be the only way to get Lindi to at least understand Remus's point of view and maybe now things can begin to progress in the positive direction. Can't wait until the next chapter!

I don\'t think at that point that Remus could have stopped Sirius if he had wanted to. ;) But he wanted to know what she would do, and it needed to be done. well the chapter was worth waiting for! I liked how you are foreshadowing, Peter being good at deception. And yay for Lindi looking for Remus all day. Their conversation is long overdue!. Also I'm still very impressed by the way you spin the dynamics of the Marauders; they all seem so comfortable with each other; you can feel their strong bond of friendship.

I like to think if we hadn\'t learned the story of Peter\'s betrayal already, the foreshadowing I am trying to do would be subtle. I hope you wouldn\'t have read it and said, wow, that makes him look evil...of course, I\'ll never know, because we know he is evil! LOL Thank you for mentioning the bond of friendship between them...that is the most important thing I can convey! :-D

They\'re non canon, and yet, when I read PoA now, thinking \'what if Rosmerta was playing \'blonde\' when she was talking to the professors at the broomsticks and already knew about Sirius?\'...the scene reads very differently! :D
