Living With What's Done by Hermione_Rocks

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: Ever since HBP and the famous interview with Jo conducted by Emerson and Melissa, there have been thousands of ideas and fics about Severus Snape and Lily Evans having some sort of romance. But Lily wasn't the only female in Snape's life...nor is the only type of love the romantic kind.

This is the story of someone else who has a connection with Severus, and how they have been, and still are, affected by him: Selena Snape, his sister.

"But I did...and I'm living with it. Because that's what we do...live with what we've done, live with our mistakes, the life we've made for ourselves."

This was really good. I've thought about the idea of Severus having a sister before. It was a really good idea. You also did a really good job with her emotions as she learned and accepted what her brother did. Bravo!

Author's Response: I\'m in shock, I get my story accepted and a lovely review for it in the same night. Thank you so much! :)

Still wonderful. I really enjoyed Selena's fight with Severus about his Half-Blood Prince title. Well done!

Author's Response: Thanks! That was a fun scene to write. ;)

Selena's anger and denial are really believable in this. It seems like someone would really react in that type of situation. Well done, as always.

Author's Response: Yes, she is starting to really fall now. Thank you!

Voldie's Only Valentine by hufflepuffgal

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: Enclosed here is a printed copy of the one and ONLY valentine that You- Know-Who, yes, he HIMSELF, in all his evil glory, ever wrote. With witty rhyme and winning words it shows you the other side of this seemingly heartless man. And to make it a little more interesting I'm not going to tell you who it is written to (*evil laugh*) in the poem. You can guess in your reviews and I'll tell you if you are right. If you are the first to correctly guess the person, I’ll give you the code for an icon I made and you can post it on your bio (if you want). Good Luck! Hope you enjoy! Please review!

Haha! Very amusing. But someone should teach old Voldy that the way to romance a girl does not involve using the Crucio curse, using them as a servant, or allowing them to go to Azkaban in his name. Poor Voldy, he really needs to work on his social skills.

Author's Response: Yes he does. Thanks for the review. I\'m glad you found my poem amusing.

Mind, Body and Soul by Slian Martreb

This was a really cool story. Both characters seemed very cannon. Good Job!

Author's Response: Thank you!

Forgotten by Blue Bell

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: In the end, Lily ended up with James. We all know that. However, could Lily have previously been in love with someone before James? Perhaps, a certain Slytherin? What happens when he comes back, looking for closure, for permission to move on?
Reviewer: Sly Severus Signed

Awww. Poor Sevy. I was surprised Lily had such a mean streak in this. It was a good story though. I was hooked from the very beginning. Bravo!

Author's Response: Thanks for reviewing!

Grim Old Place by TOMROHT

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: Quite understandably, Sirius Black is more than a little depressed as summer at number twelve, Grimmauld Place gives way to fall and his godson Harry returns to Hogwarts for another year of schooling. The headquarters of the anti-Voldemort movement couldn't be duller, and Sirius is stuck there, feeling isolated and alone...that is, until an unexpected (and not entirely welcome) visitor stops by one afternoon, interrupting the monotony of Sirius's daily life.

I have to say that I'm not a Dumbledore fan. I really enjoyed your story, but as I often find when reading stories with Dumbledore, he annoyed me. Sirius was having a hard time, for good reason, and he needed something more than what Dumbledore gave him. Entertaining story though.

Author's Response: Yeah...Dumbledore certainly possesses the power of vexation...but he means well... I\'m glad you enjoyed the story. Thanks for your review. TOMROHT

Thistles by Vindictus Viridian

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: Part of the Triwizarding Tournament is the traditional Yule Ball. Two people ascend from the dungeons to attend and enjoy themselves in their own ways.
Reviewer: Sly Severus Signed
Date: 07/10/06 Title: Chapter 1: The Yule Ball

Hehe! You write Severus and Minerva so well. I have a chapter to write about them, and I'm having a terrible time. The way you show their friendship is really well done. Great Job!

Author's Response: They are a tricky pair, aren\'t they? I think that\'s why I enjoy them so much. They\'ve known each other for such a long time -- and quite possibly through several things he\'d really rather she didn\'t remember -- and in public they\'re so formal with each other and almost everyone else. In private, a sort of civil rivalry makes some sense. In writing him, have you ever wondered who his favorite teacher might have been? Somehow I doubt it was Slughorn, but there\'s plenty of other possibilities.

Fate by RedheadedWeasley

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: I did this for an In-House Challenge. The rules were to write a poem of what Severus was thinking that night on the tower before he killed Dumbledore. This is my version of that night! Enjoy!! Please feed the muse!!
Reviewer: Sly Severus Signed

Nice flow. An interesting look at Snape's thoughts the night Dumbledore died. Well done!

Author's Response: Thank you so much for taking the time to review! I\'m glad you enjoyed the poem.

Hope by Hermione2723

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: Dedicated to all the Hurricane Katrina refugees. As Harry helps fix up Godric's Hollow after the final battle with the few people who aren't out celebrating, he comes to realize how selfish people can actually be.

Awww...this was sad. I did enjoy it though Good Job!

The Third Owl by shimotsuki

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: At the start-of-term feast in Harry's third year, Dumbledore introduces "Professor Lupin, who has kindly consented to fill the post of Defence Against the Dark Arts teacher." Is Dumbledore merely being gracious, or is there a tale behind his choice of words? What would it take to persuade Lupin to come and teach at Hogwarts?

This was really great. I love the way you described Lupin being haunted by memories of his old friends. I always wondered why being back at Hogwarts never seemed to bother him. I really liked the end, when he saw James fall into the lake and waved. This was very well written, and a pleasure to read. Good Job!

Author's Response: Thanks for your comments! I suspect it\'s fairly hard to tell, from 3rd-year Harry\'s POV, when something is bothering Lupin in PoA -- he\'s very good at putting up a bland front and hiding strong emotions. (\"Oddly closed expression\" with Snape and the Marauder\'s Map, anyone? And his reaction was pretty subtle even when Hermione outed him in the Shrieking Shack.) But I like to think that being back at Hogwarts would turn out to be a little easier for him than he\'d expected.

Musings of a Mimbulus Mimbletonia by TOMROHT

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: In the magical world, plants are often shunted off to one side, and their views on life are generally ignored. Neville's mimbulus mimbletonia finally gets a chance to say his piece...and then we all know why plants are ignored. "Mimby's" little monologue is naught but a rambling mass. We'd all be better off to steer clear of his musings...

Date: 07/04/06 Title: Chapter 1: Musings of a Mimbulus Mimbletonia

Ha ha. This was really cute. I hope poor Neville doesn't have to listen to this thing talk too much. Good Job!

Author's Response: Neville actually does most of the talking. That\'s how--er--Mimby gets most of his information... Thanks for the review. TOMROHT

It's a Part of You Now by HarryPotter is my LIFE

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: Just as Ron and Hermione's relationship begins to blossom, a horrific event occurs. Kidnapped by Severus Snape, Hermione is taken to the remains of Malfoy Manor. There, she meets her worst enemy, Draco Malfoy. But somehow, he's different. Will Hermione be lured by Draco's new kindness, or stay true to Ron?
Reviewer: Sly Severus Signed
Date: 07/02/06 Title: Chapter 1: Prologue

Good start. It will be interesting to see where this goes.

Author's Response: Thanks! I also hope that it\'s interesting.

No legs, huh? Well, that was a twist. But how has been getting around so well? Anyway, very interesting. Never read one like this before.

Author's Response: Yes, it cetainly was a twist, wasn\'t it? Well, you\'ll notice that in the first chapter, when Snape was chasing Hermione, hee did it only by Apparating, which is his way around.

Fatal Remorse by Periwinkle

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: Rodolphus has fled into the safety of a secluded hut in the edge of the forest, to escape the Death Eaters, but all in vain. Bella finds him and has been ordered by Voldemort to kill him. Will she do it?

How does Rodolphus feel about all this?
Reviewer: Sly Severus Signed
Date: 07/01/06 Title: Chapter 1: 1

This is the first Rodolphus fic I have read. It seems we have different views on Rodolphus and Bella, but I enjoyed reading your ideas. This was well done. Good Job!

Author's Response: Wow, thank you for your lovely review. It\'s good to know that people can put aside their views and enjoy a story. Thank you!

When The Line Has Been Crossed (It's Time For Revenge...) by Hermione_Rocks

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •

So Selena's a fighter. This was nice. I really like the way you write Severus' relationship with his sister. The only thing, I think you may have used the word were a few times when it should have been was. Other than that, great!

Author's Response: The siblings are a fun pair to write. :) Thanks for pointing out the grammar issue, I must have overlooked that while obsessing over how to end this...maybe when I\'m not so lazy I\'ll go back and fix it...glad you liked it, though!

Christmas Magic by halfbloodprincess22

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: Hermione went to the Yule Ball with Krum. But somebody else comforted her that night, when she needed it the most. A short, fluffy 1-shot. Enjoy!
Reviewer: Sly Severus Signed
Date: 07/08/06 Title: Chapter 1: 1-Shot, none needed

This was really sweet. Hermione and Draco are really cute together. But I really don't think she would risk telling him about Sirius. Anyway, very good job!

Author's Response: i think they\'re cute together too...and i know JKR will never make it happen, but i think it\'s really sweet! thanks for the review

Last Letter by whittyleah

Awww...I loved it. So sad. Really well done. This sounds very much like what the wizarding world would be like if Voldie were to win the war. I really enjoyed it.

Author's Response: Thank you! *smiles*
