The Marauders' Trademark by LexiGirl
Rated: 1st-2nd Years •Summary: Can anything make Harry and gang more famous? Can their children make them even more well-known? What can seven kids possibly manage at Hogwarts? Beautiful. I love that you do this without dialogue.
One of my favorite lines is where Harry thinks about the "meager protection his glasses offered him." Awesome.
And the title is, of course, appropriate, and I love it.

And as for the title--you wouldn\'t believe how long it took me to come up with something that simple! The Ron/Hermione story\'s main element was a rose, and the Harry/Ginny story had fire, so I wanted somehow to incorporate that. And I realized they were both red, and if stories were colors mine would be scarlet, and I wanted to hint at that too....I guess I ended up pretty happy with what I got, though. Thanks for the review!

Aww... I love it! I was pretty sure who Violet's dad was, and I was right. I love that you have the wedding in the Room of Requirement - so perfect.
In the last paragraph, it says 25 "tears," but I'm pretty sure you meant years.

That's so sad! I kind of wish this wasn't a one-shot, so we could know more details about why he was hurt and if they ever get together after everything is safe. At the same time though, this is emotionally powerful, and it might lose some of that if the details were less ambiguous. Great job! *wonders away to fix broken heart*
Author's Response: Well, I was deciding if I should make it chaptered, but the plot was best short. And since you asked, I\'m telling you the reason Draco couldn\'t come (but it\'s just in my head): Lord Voldeeemort was alerted of their secret meetings, and he planned to use Hermione and Draco as a way to get to Harry. But Draco (knowing that Hermione really cared for Harry--as a brother) refused--and he got hurt. He escaped part of the punishment somehow but decided to put an end to the relationship. And tada!!! We get to the story. Really happy you liked it!

I really liked this story. I'll go back to why later, but I have a nit-pick thing. Isn't Diagon Alley in London? Ron sees the girl in Diagon Alley, but then asks his girlfriend about how London is.
I usually don't like songfics, but you blended the lyrics into the narrative so well that this is a shining example of how these should be. Great, great job!
