I'm 17 years old and I live in the northeastern United States. I am absolutely obessed with Harry Potter and I have read all the books too many times to count. I've been a fan since the age of 9 when the first book came out. I love to write fanfics, as well as read them. I'm a big fan of Harry/Ginny and Ron/Hermione, and I hope that is how it turns out in the end. The Marauders are my favorite characters (minus wormtail of course) because I love the concept of them...4 friends, 2 dead, and we all know they will be reunited in the end.

aww very heart-warming i must say. i have to say that after reading this chapter i have changed my mind and i do like this whole letter-writing thing. how many letters are there going to be before we find out if harry wakes up or not?
Author's Response: Thanks, I'm glad you're warming up to the format. I'm really not sure how long it's going to be at this point, honestly. If there's a sequal, (which I think there will be) then it definitely won't be in letter format, just regular old story-telling. :)
i really like your story but i'd like to offer some constructive critiscism if you don't mind. I like the whole concept about how Ginny misses Harry and is writing him letters--but this might get old really fast. Chapter 2 was a lot harder for me to read because im like waiting for Harry to either die or wake up. I dont know how many letters you are planning on writing--but please dont make it a ton because otherwise i will personally get bored with the story. Update soon please--and excellent job!

ok its a good story and all but a bit confusing...the summary didn't really make that much sense either...but maybe it will after later chapters...update soon!
Author's Response: Okay -- I might as well explain it, because it will be very, very confusing for you in the next few chapters.
In the first chapter we see Harry and Ginny, and, as I explained in the summary, the are together.
It's the night of the Last Battle and Harry knows he doesn't have much time, but he doesn't want to leave quite yet. He doesn't know when he'll see her again.
So basically, the beginning is just them. And the part with Voldemort is the Last Battle.
But I'm not gonna give anything else away -- you'll have to read wen I post Chapter Two. :)

i really liked it....the whole blind thing made me really sad though :(. But im going to pretend that Harry got his sight back in later years because otherwise i wont be able to sleep! great story though--you really captured harrys pain.

To be honest I don't have any plans to carry on the story at the moment as it was based on a night of my life and, well, I'll have to wait and see if the story turns out happily...
wow. i really really liked it. one-shots happen to be my favorite kind of story because they get right to the point. you should check out my one-shots: the pain felt, and the key to my heart. i think you'd like them both. great story!
