more stuff to come here
A book of death-day one-shots, put together in this manner because of the prologue. (Otherwise, it might be separate one-shots in a series.) This could be horror or angst, but I thought, as it isn't intentionally morbid, that historical would do best.
Ooh...
Marvelous. Simply... brilliant. It suits the Baron perfectly! This was wonderful. A good take on the first of many ghosts at Hogwarts. Can't wait to read on!
~Juliet
Egh... *shudder* Bubbling fingers... *second shudder*
That was another spectacular tale. You described the Muggle feelings towards suspicious activity several hundred years ago with skill. Do you study much History, I wonder? I do have one question, though - one more question, that is, as it would seem I've already asked one of you. Why did they become Ghosts at Hogwarts, instead of around their homes? Seems like they should have died at Hogwarts, like Moaning Myrtle. But, then again... I'll go read the OotP again, the part about ghosts.
Bravissima!
~Juliet
Oh... Well, I don't quite picture Lily like that, but Alice was good, as was Mrs. Longbottom elder... Very good - I liked the reference to Lily and James as the "golden couple". And I had something else to say, but I forgot it. So I guess I'll post it in the next review. If I remember. Brava!
~Juliet
Oh! That's what I was going to say. I keep picturing the apartment that the Ricardos stay in in "I Love Lucy" as to where Frank and Alice live... Pregnant women and whatnot, I guess.
This is awesome! If there's one thing I had to pick out that I loved, it was your wonderful characterization of the Marauders, and your absolutely lovely description of Frank. I've never imagined him as good-looking before - maybe because of Neville - but that was wonderful. Love this story!
~Juli
Author's Response: Yeah I\'m just trying to make my story different but still canon. So far its working.. I think. haha thanks for your reviews!
Oh... This is great. Awesome characterization now - Lily, Alice, Marauders, and all. Can't wait for the next chapter! If it doesn't come soon.... I'll... Not be pleased. xD Nice research, and, erm... Write more soon, or else.
~Juli
Ooooh... Even better.
I love the "bird, plane, superman!" thing you have going on. Reminds me of one of my friends - I tell you, she's completely obsessed with that little curl he has...
Anyhow - wonderfully funny, yet again.
~Juliet
Author's Response: Well, I like to think they might get better as they go on - more rumours to use and more complicated plots to... uh, destroy O_O. Again, thanks. I got all of these at once, and am dancing. *Dances*
Hah! Another great one... You should have done the Red Riding Hood thing with Lupin... "Oh, what big teeth you have!" and such. But then again, "the better to eat you with" wouldn't have quite worked out. Maybe at the end. Anyhow, loved it, yet again.
~Juliet
Author's Response: Yeah, I could have but... well, he\'s acting more like a lovable mutt. Also, the idea of Lupin impersonating a grandmother is slightly disturbing in itself...
Yes indeed, you'd better not eat me! *runs and hides* I do agree, though - reviewers are like that best kind of chocolate you've been craving for days and finally just got from your boyfriend. Awesome.
Anyhow. This was great - I love the constant reference back to previously mentioned things, and the subtle insertions of "squashed rubbish" rumors.
I missed Superman this time, though.
~Juli
Author's Response:
Yeah, a bit like that. Every time I get a review, my super!dark Gauntlet story-writing is completely killed, because I suddenly get a rush of \'omghappy!!!111\'.
No pun intended. Really, I swear.
Ooh - I keep thinking, \'now this persons\'s really going to love [insert chapter number here]. So hopefully you\'ll stick around - Superman will certainly get his day...
Ah, lovely Professor Squirrel... "Hair from the enemy, taken without much effort..." Ah, you'll have me laughing for days, you will! SO cruel.
~Juli
Author's Response:
Yup. I\'m evil.
And dude, you\'re on a roll! I\'ll be smiling for... for... I don\'t know. But my poor dark story... *pats*
xD That's awesome. Completely brilliant.
Lucius Malfoy = Superman :: I agree. :)
~Juli
Author's Response:
You\'re awesome too. Also brilliant. And possibly Superman - I\'ll have to check up on that.
Thank you so much for all of these comments. I suddenly have this massive smile on my face... ;)
Oh! Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh....
This was marvelous. Spectacular. Absolutely genious, and so...
Funny.
Loved it! I simply must read more. Great use of Pyrite, by the way.
~Juli
Author's Response:
Yeah. PYRITES FOR PRESIDENT!
...
You know, or maybe not? But thank you for reviewing!
Ooh.... This was spectacular. Simply fabulous. A long chapter - very long - but lots of progress made, and an excellent, excellent take on Book 7. I love the twists - I can't begin to name them all, bu eems as though I'm almost reading Book 7, except for the first person. But that only adds to the experience. Amazing! Bravissima!
~Juliet
Ooh... A beautiful chapter. Another, that is. I loved the bit on love potions... Wonderful addition, sparking mystery - Superb.
~Juliet
Hah! That was sweet. Fluffy, as you said, but sweet. I liked it. Funny how the best things come from boredom, eh?
~Juli
Author's Response: thanks! :) i totally agree!!!
You are cruel... You know that, right? I think that we, at least, as faithful readers (whatever) should have the right to know who's point of view this is from. Now I have to guess. (but you hate guessing games!)
Ginny? (no, you dolt - maybe you should try reading the story first?)
Oh - right.
The concience won.
~Juli
Author's Response: Well, if you knew whose point of view this was from, it would ruin Alone! Is this review good or bad? Either way... thanks for the review!
Hmmm... Sounds very, very interesting! Brava on getting a good story started!
~Juli
Author's Response: Thanks!
Hmmm... That's interesting! I wonder what effect leaving out a personality will do. Though I doubt that Hermione would quite help them with this... Seems like she would disapprove. xD
~Juli
Author's Response: Oh you\'ll find out what happens...mwahaha! Thanks!
Hmmm... Sounds very, very interesting! Brava on getting a good story started!
~Juli
Author's Response: Thanks!
Oooh... Very, very nice. I love this one - you kept Tom in such nice character from where Jo left off with him - I must give you a hearty congratulations. Great story here. I look forward to seeing more!
~Juli
Ooh... Riddle the kid. He's murderous, you know, although I can see this budding respect. Excellent job! Keep me updated soon!
~Juli
Author's Response: Haha when I find the time to finish off the next chapter, I\'ll be sure to post it as soon as possible!
