Hi! My name is Sammie, hence the name MissSammiekins. I love everything about Harry Potter, and my dream is to marry Daniel Radcliffe someday. My favorite category (and OTP) is Lily/James, closely followed by Marauder Era and most romances. The only ships I won't read are Harry/Hermione, Draco/Hermione, Draco/Ginny, Snape/Hermione, Anyone-but-James/Lily, and slash, although I'm okay with femmeslash. Is there anything else you need to know? Oh yeah, I'm a proud Slytherin. We're cooler than you'll ever be. ;)

Update info
From Potter to...James? - on a short hiatus (please contact me if you want details)

The Glories of the Enternet by Ron x Hermione

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: Ron Weasley is getting married to Hermione Granger, so he travels back to the Burrow to tell his parents. But his father has a type of… box in the room, and Ron ventures over to find out what in Merlin’s name it actually is.

Mr. Weasley explains about the “enternet”, and Ron stumbles upon a website that we are all too familiar with…

Funny story you've got here! :) I love how Ron came to the Burrow to tell everyone about his engagement and got completely sidetracked by the "enternet." Of course, that's something most of us can relate to, and I know it's happened to me more than once that I wanted to do something but got so absorbed in what I was reading on MNFF that I completely forgot about everything else. :D My favorite line was definitely "Except for Draco/Hermione; she’s my woman." The humor in this story is exceptional, and I have never seen anything like it.

Keep up the good work!

Author's Response: LOL, thanks so very much, Sammie! As a matter of fact, I have the sequel to this in queue. :) ~Lindsey :)

Potter's Pentagon: The Five (Book One) by Schmerg_The_Impaler

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: WARNING! This story contains a jingle-bell antler headband, a shower of potatoes, boy/girl mushiness, underwear karaoke, family trouble, an excessively adorable werewolf, death, the song "Werewolves of London," betrayal, and the word 'Jordan' five times in a row near the beginning of chapter seven.

Twenty-one years after Voldemort's defeat, five fourth-years are faced with a new threat. Will all of the five stay true to the light side? Will they all emerge whole in the end? Will Jordan Potter ever get a life? You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll gasp, you'll sigh! Part one in a trilogy!

Well, after much deliberation and consideration, I've decided to submit my future-gen trilogy! This particular installment is three years old, so it's definitely different from my current writing style, but I'm quite fond of the characters.

DH is disregarded. It's a total coincidence that one of the main characters is named Ted Lupin.

Starring Quicksilver Quills 2008 Best Male Original Character runner-up Jordan Potter, Best Female Original Character nominees Ivy Potter, Haley Potter, and Emma Weasley, and Best Male Original Character nominee Ted Lupin!

Five times nominated (once for each member of Potter's Pentagon!) for the Best Post-Hogwarts story in the 2007 Quicksilver Quills Awards, and nominated for Best Post-Hogwarts story in the 2008 Quicksilver Quill Awards...

Schmergo, you've done it again! I seriously love all of your stories, and this is no exception. It's been on my favorites list since I read the first chapter, and I always squee excitedly when I get the new chapter email. :) I'm so sad it's over, because this is quite possibly one of my favorite stories on Mugglenet. But hey, there's always the next two books to look forward to!

As for my favorite characters, I really don't think I can choose. All your OCs are so original, and they all have their own qualities that make them special. Ted's cheerfulness and optimism, Ivy's sensitivity and logic, Haley's hyperness and humour, Emma's bluntness and confidence, Jordan's moodiness and determination, and Tyrone's arrogance and suaveness make your characters some of the best I've seen. :D (I know you didn't ask for this, but I also love your characterization of Harry.}

I looooooove the romances in this story! I'm a total sucker for Lily/James-esque thingies, so Emma and Tyrone's love-hate relationship was just perfect! And Ivy and Ted's shyness was adorable and too cute to resist.

I think it's wonderful how you manage to produce such a well-written story while still retaining your famous (or shall I say infamous?) sense of humour. That, in addition to everything else, is what makes your story one of the absolute bestest on Mugglenet.

Keep up the good work, and I can't wait for the next book! :D

~Sammie

(P.S. I think this is the longest review I've ever written, so feel lucky. :O Mwahahahaha!)

Author's Response: Wow, Sammy! Thanks for the pretty review! I\'m really glad you like my characters, because I rather enjoy them myself. Your review made me grin like an idiot!

Potter's Pentagon: The Truth (Book Two) by Schmerg_The_Impaler

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: This is book two in the "Potter's Pentagon" trilogy. Read "Potter's Pentagon: The Five" first, myesss? Cool.

WARNING: This story contains French people, an internal monologue about a blue orange, adolescent facial hair, good old-fashioned snogging, superstitious truck drivers, a portrait who calls everyone "Mavis," a zoo break-in, some very strange clothes, romantic conflict galore, and Ron Weasley's caffeine addiction. And worst of all, Professor Zabini!

Hogwarts is hosting the Triwizard Tournament, and when one of the members of Potter's Pentagon is selected to represent the school, much excitement ensues. Simultaneously, elections are being held for Minister of Magic, and things are getting busy at the Ministry.

Not to mention the fact that Jordan's made a new Muggle friend without informing her of the itty-bitty fact that he's magical, Haley has found an enchanted diary of dubious origin, Ted's met a werewolf from Beauxbatons, and Emma... well, Emma's not having a good year.

And what exactly is Ivy up to, anyway?

Everyone has secrets. But in the end, the truth will have to come out.

Starring Best Male Original Character runner-up Jordan Potter, Best Female Original Character Nominees Ivy Potter, Emma Weasley, Haley Potter, and Giorgi Anderson, and Best Male Original Character nominee Ted Lupin! Nominated for Best Post-Hogwarts story in the 2008 Quicksilver Quill Awards!

Hello Schmergo! How lovely to be reading another one of your lovely chapters! I like the word lovely, if you can't tell. :) So, let's get to the reviewing!

Oh, gag me with a spoon!

Haha, I'll definitely be using that phrase sometime soon! Very creative. I just love Ron and his caffeine-induced humor and Harry and his wittiness. ("Don't insult the plants" had me falling off my chair in laughter!)

During the Sorting, Haley and Emma liked to play a game that involved inventing lives and personalities for the first years.

Hmm... that sounds like a fun game... If only I didn't go to a tiny school where everyone knows everyone, I might be able to play that.

Not gonna lie - I completely agree with Ted and Ivy about the Triwizard Tournament, except for the part about having fun watching from the stands. Truthfully, in the fourth book, the second and third tasks really didn't seem that interesting. The spectators really saw nothing except a lake and some hedges. Personally, I would just bring a book or sudoku to the tasks, or maybe lie down on the bleachers and take a nap...

Just a bit about spell check/grammar check and whatnot. There were a few times when you wrote "he" instead of "she," such as when McGonagall was making her announcements and when Haley went up to her dormitory to check out the diary, and in Giorgi's email you wrote "I" instead of "he" when talking about the math teacher. Sorry for the nitpicking, but I'm a grammar and spelling freak. (I want to be a book editor when I'm older, so that might explain it.)

One more thing: Is "Lee" Lee Jordan, or just some random dude named Lee? Because the diary was supposedly under the cushion for a long time, and Lee Jordan was in Hogwarts a while before your story takes place, not to mention he was in Gryffindor and not only did he know some pranksters, but he was best friends with them.

Anyways, I can't wait for the next chapter!

~Sammie

Author's Response: Yay! I love the word \'lovely\' too. I love to go around saying \'lovely\' to things in a Rita Skeeter voice. But then I\'m weird.

Heh, Ron and Harry are so much fun to write about because they\'ve known each other for so long. I\'ve always liked writing them as adults.

I don\'t know, I don\'t think that game\'s a good idea... kinda tactless. I would stink at a Triwizard Tournament. I am not competitive at all, probably less so than Ted, and I\'m not athletic, eother.

Yikes, I am just full of typos! I really need to fix those! Thank you very much!

As for Lee... well, er, you\'ll see!

*cough* Rupert Daniels? ;D

Lovely first chapter, I must say. I completely agree with the whole reviewing who people are and whatnot, because I would never remember anything otherwise. :)

I love the beginning, with the moving men! It was just so funny, with them contemplating the crazy lunatics that live in Godric's Hollow. Haha, and the postman - he seems hilarious!

The only thing I didn't like so much was Giorgi. No offense or anything, I just don't really understand her. I don't doubt that if she's in later chapters I'll learn to love her, just like the rest of your characters. :) It'll just take some time, since she's so... not what I'm used to.

Personally, I have to agree with Emma about Tyrone's mustache. I've never been one for those scrawny, furry things that boys call facial hair. But to each his own, whatever floats his boat, etc....

I can't wait to read the rest! Keep up the good work!

~Sammie

Author's Response: Sammie! Yep, Rupert Daniels. I\'m evil. There is also a Lewis Matthews briefly mentioned later on.

I\'m glad you liked the moving men part! I edited the chapter to put them in because I didn\'t like how suddenly the story started off before.
I can understand why you don\'t like Giorgi. Jordan doesn\'t really like her either, yet. She can definitely be annoying! ^_^ But she\'s not in the story a lot, because she can\'t go to Hogwarts. But I had to put a Muggle in the story.

YES! Those little \"mustaches\" are so annoying. I\'m a sophomore in high school right now, just like Emma and Tyrone, and most of the guys I know seem not to know what a razor is. So I let them read my story and give them a subtle hint through it.

I\'m really evil, aren\'t I?
