This is the story of Harry J. Potter and Ginny M. Weasley, their lives, friendships, realtionships and everything in between. Life doesn't always take the road they expect or want, but they soon learn that no matter what they do or how hard they try, the world stops for no man and that simply put, Life Happens.
Primarily Harry/Ginny but with Ron/Hermione background. Picks up after the end of book 5 and continues into Post-Hogwarts.

Many things are different now. Potions class is the least of the trio's worries. Battling dragons would be a welcome alternative to what it is they're attempting to battle now. The Order of the Phoenix is hallow without its leading member. And when someone close to Harry is stolen, Dumbledore's rhetoric of love, hope, and faith is challenged. Harry's strength and resolve are pushed to their limits. Loyalties are tested and new leaders emerge while Harry and Hermione struggle to balance new emotions and uncharted territory. Yet while this time after sixth year proves to be drastically unlike anything Harry's ever experienced, some truths remain, and some affections stand solid.

I have just finished re-reading your story, which I found only a few days ago.....Congratulations for really knowing and understanding the characters. I love the tenderness between Harry and Hermoine and the depth of description of their emotions. I do hope you intend to follow the path of a writer and I would be very interested in reading other material that you have written about your very own characters. The emotions are definitely a major part of A.S. I try to make them as palpable as possible, and it\'s thrilling to know it\'s paying off. I have just read the whole story and really love your rich descriptions. I think it's great that you have tackled the issue of bullying and I hope at least one person who has read your story stands up for someone being bullied whether at home, school, college or in the workplace. I would love you to write a story about purebloods (racism). Congrats.....keep going!

But when a new teacher is hired to teach Defense Against the Dark Arts, everyone seems to feel that they've met him before. A story of mystery, passion, friendship, and jealousy… not to mention that Harry Potter has been missing for ten years and Voldemort is dead. (All violence is mild).

The glass balls are a wonderful idea - in fact they sum things up rather well. I like Neville being so successful and taking a risk. Poor Hermoine, she always seems to be lacking in the female friend department....don't suppose you could find her a really good friend somewhere in her travels? Keep going with this story as it's really interesting!!!

Author's Response: Nevillie I think will grow to be someone people can rely on and will really flourish as he gets older and lose that shy ness that we had. I think we saw some of it coming through in the last two books. And yes, poor Hermione. Now Ginny isn\'t well she is rather lacking in the female friend department. That\'s actually a good idea of yours, finding someone on her travels. I hadn\'t really thought about it.
