Unexpected Gifts by Ron x Hermione

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: Ron and Hermione are in a rut this Christmas. They’re married, yet they don’t have that much money to buy each other gifts; especially after they have already bought all of their family and friends things.

Ron and Hermione both realize they know what to get each other, but when they go to buy it, they know they don’t have the money. They can’t get the gift.
Unless…

Ron and Hermione realize that as long as they have each other, they’ll get through anything.

This was written for the Christmas Challenge, the prompt, Gift of the Magi. I am Ron x Hermione, of Hufflepuff.

Won second place in the Prompt!

This is one of those stories that makes you realise everything you've taken for granted....and it made me think....good job

Author's Response: SHANE!! Hey buddy. Thanks for finally taking the time to review. LOL, I know I\'ve pestered! Te he! Thanks, I\'m glad you liked it; I know that you don\'t like mushy romances.. Torture? Maybe. *giggles* ~Lindsey :)

Starts with Goodbye by Ron x Hermione

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary:
Ron and Hermione have been married for awhile now. They are even expecting their first child soon. They have yet to find a name for their bundle of joy, a boy; even though they have looked through a plethora of baby book names.

But when a house-elf shows up and tells the two that Hogwarts is in danger by Death Eaters and even Voldemort himself, what will happen?

Harry is the new Defense Against the Dark Arts Teacher there, but will he finally be able to break the trend of having a new teacher every year?

Will he fight to the death?

My version of the Final Battle, and what will happen.

Back to Boston by Ron x Hermione

Rated: 6th-7th Years •
Summary: Hermione Granger doesn't know where her life is taking her. She is married to someone she doesn't love, and she is the "bad person" in the Wizarding World, and is shunned for some of the horrible choices she has made in her life lately. She now has an occupation that she loathes, but that doesn't stop her from going through with it, and doing what her boss tells her.

When she comes upon a mysterious, decrepit house, she finds a man that is willing to help her out with her current task. But he has other plans for Hermione . . .

Hermione wakes up in a traditional-style dress, and tries to figure out where in the world she is. She eventually discovers that she has been placed in the Salem Witch Trials, and she is trying her best to get out of that time period - without being burned at the stake first.

This story was written in response to the Spring Challenge – this is Prompt, A Shift in Time. I am Ron x Hermione of Hufflepuff.

I liked the story, it was a great idea actually. It doesn't make any sense that Hermione hadn't figured out who had caused the girls to go crazy as soon as she saw Rashleigh? Did she ever figure out about draco, and will she end up being friends with harry again... Oh well, it was still a good story

Author's Response: LOL, Shane! Yeah, I know that I kind of gave it an abrupt ending, but I had writer\'s block on this for about a month, and since it was for a challenge I had to get it finished, and even though I wasn\'t inspired, I finished it. That\'s why it\'s kind of rushed, and why it didn\'t win, lol. Anyhow, *thinks off top of head* I guess that she finally caught Draco with the other woman, and she finally realised that Harry and her had to be friends after all of the horrid things they\'d gone through. I hated killing off Ron, but I was wanting to do a Dramione, even if it didn\'t center around the relationship itself and it just spoke of it. Thanks, Shane! *hugs* ~Lindsey :)

Ok I only have one thing to say (and listen closely because I do NOT use this often)

AWWWWWW!!!

Hate is a Strong Word by Ron x Hermione

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: Peter Pettigrew has been the butt of the jokes of the Marauders once too many times. He thought they were his friends--- now, he is their enemy.

Peter finally realises his defeat when he ventures out to seek revenge on his acquaintances: finding Voldemort and the Death Eaters along the way. Peter finally understands that hate is a stronger word than he had ever imagined.

This was originally written for the April One Shot Challenge, a Peter Pettigrew Spring Fling. I am Ron x Hermione of Hufflepuff.

Author's Response: Thanks, Shane! I uh, kinda thought so, too. :) ~Lindsey :)

Voldemort’s Terror: The Tale of the Boy Who Lived by Ron x Hermione

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: A story about Harry Potter, and his life in detail up to the end:

Limerick Style.
Reviewer: Thoughts on Magic Signed
Date: 05/04/07 Title: Chapter 1: Voldy's Wrath on Harry

well....that was a rather inventive way to tell a story...and the way it was rhymed made it borderline hysterical.....cool

Author's Response: SHANE! I love you! Thanks so much! It\'s called a Limerick, and you do NOT know how hard that was! ~Lindsey :)

Broken Petals by Ron x Hermione

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •

Date: 05/25/07 Title: Chapter 1: Gauntlet

ok, so...you kill almost everyone off...again...and then put Ron through a series of difficult, and relatively strange, tests...and all we get is a killer puppy? huh...well, at least it has big white fangs...but no fluffy tail.

Author's Response: LOL, Shane . . . You never cease to amaze me, dear. Thanks so much for reviewing. But, you have to remember, I did have prompts that I had to follow, and the big, scary puppy was a result of the prompt \'Ron gets in a fight with his Patronus\'. Ron\'s Patronus is a jack russell, so yeah. Thanks so much, dear. ~Lindsey :)

Quarrels and Smarts by Ron x Hermione

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: We all know that Ronald Weasley was sorted into Gryffindor. But what if he was placed in Ravenclaw?

Pain Doesn't Cost a Thing by Ron x Hermione

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: Even from young children, Brett and Emma have been inseparable. When they are eleven, they both get letters to a famous Wizarding school. But their luck runs deeper as they soon find out that they’ve been placed into the same house. But that all comes crashing down when Brett has to move away to a northern country for his parents’ occupations. They can no longer have contact, and are utterly heartbroken, realising they’ve been in love this entire time.

---

The year is 2044 and Emma Collins is now seventeen and in her seventh year at Hogwarts. She’s made new friends and is beautiful and talented. While it’s taken her a while to get over the loss of her old friend, she’s just gotten back on track in her life and every boy is starting to notice her, looking twice when she walks past. When he, Brett, left, she was heartbroken.

But Emma’s life takes a drastic change when she learns of the TriWizard Tournament, a series of dangerous competitions in which students (that are strictly seventeen) compete in dangerous tasks to win the glory and envy of the two schools that are challenging them. Emma decides to enter, but she knows she won’t even be considered for the contest. Or will she?

Emma’s whole life is challenged; with someone she once loved’s return, horrific deaths, utter and heartbreaking betrayal, and challenging tasks, she has only one mission: to survive the next day in her final year at Hogwarts.

This was written by Ron x Hermione of Hufflepuff, trying not to perish herself as she answers the call to the TriWizard Tournament Competition.

This story got first place in the Triwizard Tales Challenge!!!!! Thanks so much to the judges and all of the lovely reviewers who kept me going! *hugs*

Nice...someone needed to shut that Seth kid up...glad to see it was Brett lol...could've done without the Eva thing...someone really shoulda clued her in...But it was still a cool chapter (i indulge myself in large amounts of candy as well...but that's mostly b/c skittles rock)

Author's Response: LOL, Shane! I know you like candy, dude, I gave you a ton for Christmas, you remember? <.< I\'m glad you liked this chapter! And Eva isn\'t smart, you\'ll find that out in the next chapter. :) Um, not really, I\'m just kidding? Love ya and I thank you for reading! ~Lindsey :)

AHHHH! ok there we go...I was wondering when Brett would join the rest of us guys who really don't care about 'love'

Author's Response: Ha ha, well, we know that there are a lot of those, especially in our school, eh? Well, Brett didn\'t necesarilly not care about love, he just. . . *shuts up* Thanks for the review, Shane! ~Lindsey :)

Question, was that Fluffy, or another Fluffy like creature? lol It was funny how he was playing with the birds when he could eat all of them in one bite lol. That horn woulda scared the crap outta me tho.

Author's Response: LOL, Shane! I\'m so glad you liked it. And yes, that creature was like Fluffy, they call it a hellhound on the Lexicon. I think it\'s also called Cerberus, or something like that as well. And the horn would have scared me too. Thanks for the lovely review! ~Lindsey :)

HEY! U can't do that...that's just not cool. You could have at least had Brett getting caught, killed, tortured...oops sorry went a little too far there. But seriously...that wasn't very nice thing to do.

Author's Response: Aw, I\'m sorry, Shane. I\'m glad you liked it, though--- perhaps? And yes, it nearly killed me to write the part where Brett told Emma all of the things about how she had helped him--- I did actually do that, though, if you go back and look, where Emma was telling him those things and didn\'t even realise it. I am now starting the epilogue and got a word count of almost a hundred, lol, so I\'m just getting started, but it\'s still in the works. I\'m trying to decide on whether or not I should submit it aong with this story because of the contest, or just submit it as a one shot. I\'ll think on it. My thoughts right now I\'m feeling for Brett and what to put him through in the epilogue . . . It\'s taking all of my brainpower not to write him into one of the Saw movies. But he does have something coming to him, no matter how bizarre it will be. :) AND BEWARE TO ALL TENNESSEE DRIVERS--- I got my permit this morning, so look out! Thanks so much Shane for putting up with all of my endless pleas for you to read this. *hugs* ~Lindsey :)
