Hello! Great to see you! That's right, I can see you right now. Turn around...
Here's some stuff about me that might interest you (or cause you to call an institute on my behalf. Either way is fun for me!)
Some sayings I either made up or love: 'Yeah I ship Harry/Hermione. It's called a friendship.' ~Me as far as I know. 'Life is like a box of chocolates: nutty and the rich eat you alive' ~also me. I also love some Ancient Chinese Proverbs, especially the funny ones. Unfortunately I can't remember any. Watch this space!
Fave Characters: Ginny and Neville (but not as a pairing) Love Dobby too, and want to know more about Bellatrix (she seems like an interesting character)
Fave Book: Don't make me choose! Who wrote this anyway? Oh, right, I did...
Shippings: Harry/Ginny (otp), Ron/Hermione,
Remus/Tonks, Neville/Luna (I know they'll never be together, but I think they're cute together. Sane and, um... Luna) If Harry dies I will ship Ginny/Neville and if Luna and Ginny die Harry/Luna would be okay. I'm also a fan of Ginny/Viktor (don't ask)
House I would be in: I would love to be in Ravenclaw, but I'm a procrastinater and would end up in Slytherin. I'm cunning and very sneaky. I'll tell you if I ever do a test.
Book 7 theories: I heard this awesome one about Neville being the Chosen One, but after consideration I've decided that the entire prophecy is based on choices, and ol' Volders chose Harry. Plus Dobby and the Giant Squid will become a item, but who doesn't know that.
About my stories:
Worse Than Anything Else: I've actually written seven chapters, but only three are up so far. The evil computer deleted a lot of chapters, so it's back to about five.
Dark/Angsty: I'm about halfway through it! I put it aside for the time being it to start my songfic though. Expect some twists and major shipping.
Songfic: It's set to Evermore's Light Surrounding You. Every time I heard that song it reminded me of Harry Potter (specifically Harry/Ginny) so now I'm writing to it. It's finished, and is in the process of being Beta-ed!
Humour: It's six pages long, and I'm about 3/4 of the way through! It's called Poetic Justice, and that title makes a lot of sense if you read it.
Also, I'm jshedden on the Beta Boards if anyone feels like PM-ing me.
Looking forward to Deathly Hallows and the OOTP video game,
Jess.
Ps. Sorry OOTP movie. I mean, I'll love you and everything, but I love the games more. Plus the book is a zillion times more important
This story is very unique. I can never remember reading one like it.
Who said it, who said it? A Healer? Lupin? One of the minstry guys. That makes sense I guess. Updating soon would be fantastic, but I can wait *bites fingernails* sure I can *starts eating hands*
Author's Response: I\'m going to TRY to get the next chapter up B4 the queue closes 4 DH, but I can\'t promise Nything, especially as it will probably B quite long with every1 trying to beat the downtime. Thanx 4 reviewing!
Tee hee hee X100! I didn't know you could write humour fics! Is there anything you can't do? Hopefully he won't read Hr/SS...
Author's Response: *giggles* I CANNOT TOUCH THE TIP OF MY FOOT WITH MY HAND WHEN YOU SPREAD OUT YOUR LEGS WHEN STRTCHING FOR SOCCER. LOL, but yeah. Thanks, I\'m so glad that you like it!
~Lindsey :)
The RPS, eh? Me likey. I'll run the Australian branch and chain myself to the Opera House or something. I'm not even going to comment on the dance mixes. Read through it again, still love it, and threaten you with a large block of cheese to write more.
Author's Response: Cheese, eh? Jeepers, I\'d better start thinking about a sequel, then!
I would say that that was very random, but that word has become a terrible cliche. It stated off wonderfully, that poor word...
Anyhoo, can you please tell me what you were eating/drinking when you wrote this? It's very sugar-high-esque, and I need inspiration for my humour story (pretty fun to write because I get to write terrible songs) I give it 1111111/2 for giving originality to something that has no originality.
Author's Response: I don\'t really know what I was eating. I know that I was listening to dance remixes of Pirates of the Caribbean music (don\'t ask). You know, you\'re right about the word \"random\" being abused. We should start the RPS (Random Protection Society) and carry around bats. We\'d stare menacingly in the direction of everyone who misused the word! And picket signs! We could stand outside of the White House -or large, important British building for people in the UK- and protest! What a stellar idea!
Thank you for the review (and good luck with your story)!
*Hugs* you are my favourite humour writer EVER! Your sense of humour is just plain crazy, and thus I adore it!
Ps.What if the hokey pokey really was what it was all about? You may have just solved the meaning of life.
Author's Response: Oh, thank you, dragon person! (Are you, perchance, on a Yu Gi Oh card?)
I would love it if the hokey pokey really was what it was all about. Then, everyday life would be like this: http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-4742763335053216439&q=%22Abernacky+Brown+Does+The+Hokey+Pokey%22&hl=en
You seriously need to stop being so funny, my sides will split, it's happened before (Mr. Burns reference. He is SO Voldy in disguise!) Your OC is very OC-ish. I've always wanted a pair of those light-up shoes, but they stop making them after kids sizes. What are we 15-year-olds with the minds of 4-year-olds supposed to wear? Anyhoo, loved it very much.
Author's Response: You are spot-on about Mr. Burns. And what\'s more, JK Rowling said she loves Mr. Burns. Who here thinks that influenced her characterization? Actually, I\'m fifteen, and when I went shopping last week, I saw light-up shoes in MY SIZE! I was so excited, although I didn\'t actually buy them. (But then again, I wear size four-and-a-half. Blah, I\'m short.)
I can't believe I was right. The rest of theories made no sense though, so there you go. Harry won't care, he's weird like that. Can't wait for an update again Ciao!
Ooh, Ginny. I've always had a bit of a Draco crush myself, even before Tom Felton Draco (he's evil, but not. That's sexy) A big shock, you say? Here's some of my theories :
*Pregnant (bet that will come up a lot)
*Harry and/or Ginny is engaged to the Giant Squid
*Harry's animagus is a goldfish
*Hedwig is really Mr. Burns
I don't think it's Dung that did it. Anyway, great chapter.
Ps. I love super-Dobby!
Author's Response: Ten points to you, then! ;-)
Oooh, now what? Still lovin' it. Shortest review I've ever wriiten.
Author's Response: Glad your enjoying it lol! Chapter 3 is waiting to be validated so hopefully you won\'t be waiting long!
That was your first fan fiction? Really? You can't tell. I've read far worse ones from people who've written tonnes. I love it, but I love almost all H/G stories, so that's not a great compliment. Yours stood out though, so congrats on writing awesomely.
PS. Thanks for adding my story to your favourites.
PPS. If none of this makes sense it's because I'm half asleep.
Author's Response: Thanks I do believe thats the best compliment I\'ve had, although I do give alot of credit to my beta Shawnie (aka EssenceRain) as the story wouldn\'t be half as good with out her constant support!
*Thinks long and hard about 4th person* Thought it was Neville, but I don't think so anymore. Oh well, I'm out of ideas. You will tell us soon, won't you?
That was pure fluffy goodness! I wanted a nice fluffy story to make me feel happy today. Ten points to you.
Ooh, I like it. I'll add this to my favourites. Don't be stingy with the updates! *Gives spork* don't ask, I like giving people sporks :)
Yay, a new story! I've been hoping for a good H/G or Harry-goes-missing story for a while now, so thankyou for ending the drought. You still write like a girl, and I mean that with 100% compliment-ness. If you ever release a book, I wanna know. Adding to favourites.
Author's Response: Glad to be of service! I suppose I could still take offense to the writing like a girl thing, but I won\'t. I\'ve known too many excellent girl writers.
Ooh, nice twist. Why is everyone so determined that Harry is going to have a daughter and name her Lily? I mean, it's a really nice name, but who names their kids after their mum? Still love it, though I maybe kinda hoped that when Harry set eyes on Ginny his memory would come back...
Author's Response: Thank you! I agree that it\'s not all that likely that Harry would name his daughter after his mum -- but in this case, Harry didn\'t name her. He \'died\' before Ginny ever even knew she was pregnant. I\'m glad you liked it, though, and thanks for reviewing!
The plot thickens! Harry is probably suffering from post-traumal something-or-other. I'm too tired to look it up. As for the Americanisms, I'm not sure of this, but medicine is pretty much universal, like the Periodic table. That's pretty much what hospitals are like over here in Australia, and we're almost the same and England. Hope the next one gets verified soon, all my favourite stories have ended!
Author's Response: Thanks! I\'m glad you didn\'t find any glaring Americanisms here, although there probably will be some in the next chapter. I guess I can hope not, though, right? I\'m glad you\'re enjoying the story, and I, too, hope that the next chapter gets validated soon.
I'd hate to have two personalities swimming through my head at once! I really liked this chapter, but I'd just wish Brian would get over the whole not being there his entire life and realise that Harry had amnesia. You're going to get Harry and Ginny back together, right? Only I've read all the other reviews and it won't be just me after you if you don't. Have a nice day!
Author's Response: Thanks, Blue! I\'m glad you like the story. I, for one, totally agree with you about the two personalities thing -- I don\'t envy Harry at all. As for getting Harry and Ginny back together... well, let\'s just say I\'m a big H/G shipper and leave it at that, shall we? ;-)
Harry's going near the Burrow! Those kids... I've read the reviews saying who they think they are, but I can't decide. But no one's said Charlie or Bill yet so I'll say they're their kids. Fred and George seem more obvious, but I doubt they would want their kids to be as mischevious as them. Their niece and nephew though...
Author's Response: Yet more guesses about the mystery kids. ;-) Well, the next chapter is now in the queue, so hopefully you won\'t have too long to wait. You\'ll find out who their parents are in that chapter.
Sweet, sad, happy and awesome all in one! I'm not generally a fan of one shots (the good ones are far too short, and the bad ones too long) but I loved yours! Could we pretty please have a sequel? This is honestly the best one-shot I've read in ages, it's sad that there can't be more. Thanks for the story!
Author's Response: i\'m so glad you liked it! and thanks so much! that\'s so nice. a sequel...hmm...maybe...it\'s a good idea...
Fluffier than twelve pillows and a hundred bunny rabbits! I did like it, despite the time thing. If they've been married for one years, and I'm guessing the war didn't go on for seven years, then Chasing Cars wouldn't be released yet. Oh well, I loved it anyway.
Author's Response: Thank you!
