Hello, all and welcome to my author's page! I'm Claire and I'm new here at MNFF, although I've been reading for a long time! A review for my new, and first poem, "My Darkened Lily" would make me extraordinarily happy! *hint hint*

Consequentially Yours by Nyruserra

Rated: Professors • Past Featured Story
Summary: It's a rescue, really. At least, that's what Fred and George Weasley manage to convince him of. After all, Hermione is sure to be a target for revenge seeking Purebloods - what could any right-minded Wizard do but step in to help?

But with the shadow of Voldemort still hanging over a frightened community, Oliver is about to find out that the consequences of doing the right thing can get very out of hand!

An Oliver Wood/Hermione Granger Romance

I just have to say this before I have to crash- I really really really love this story. So, now that's done, I'll write a more "constructive" review later, when I'm not half asleep.

Author's Response: Thank you so much! *hugs*

MOMENTS OF BLISS by moonymaniac

Rated: 6th-7th Years •
Summary: Remus Lupin is a man with a tragic past, filled with pain, suffering and sorrow. But it is also a past filled with great adventure, true friendship and…love? Even though the odds were against him, Remus found happiness at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. He had the Marauders, he was a prefect and his transformations were less horrible, thanks to his Animagi friends. What more could a teenage werewolf want? And how long could his happiness last? Remus and the Marauders prove that in the saddest of lives and darkest of times, there can still be moments of bliss.

Remus centric but with a lot of the other Marauders. This story is a romance, but has almost as much general Marauder era background and side story as romance.
Pre-HBP and DH, so some things from DH will be disregarded, as the warning indicates, but some Spoilers will be incorporated.

I'm not sure if I've left a review on this story yet, but anyways- this story is fantastic! Remus is exactly as I imagine him to be, a bit shy and quiet and a bit of a bookworm but he has that mischievous side to him tooI I love Remus' mum, she's absolutely hilarious and a perfect mom too; she reminds me of my mom, totally clueless, but all knowing! I can't wait for the next chapter so keep up the good work!

Author's Response: Thank you, fire_angel_love. I\'m so glad to know you are enjoying the story. I\'m glad Remus is what you expect of him. That is such a great compliment. I\'m glad you get a kick out of his mum, too. I do enjoy writing her. Thank you for reviewing.

Take My Heart Away by Hatusu

Rated: 6th-7th Years • Past Featured Story
Summary: Hermione goes back in time with one mission: to kill Tom Riddle before he ever comes to power. A difficult task, correct? An impossible one, she realizes, as a love between them grows stronger than anything she has ever known. Now Hermione has a choice to make. Will she condemn the Wizarding world to almost certain destruction, or will she take the life of the one boy she has ever loved?

I love this story. I'm really sorry that I can't say more than that- okay, yes I can! Your concept of time-travel is perfect! Il ike it that you didn't have Hermione go back to the future on purpose, if the future really was to change, she would've had to stay right? Wow, I'm even confusing myself here, but it all makes perfect sense... Anyways this is great work. "So rose the Great Lord Voldemort."- Really good closing line.

Everybody Does It by Grimmrook

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: *Runner Up in the 2006 Annual Quicksilver Quills Awards for Best Dark/Angsty*

It's the one thing everyone must do. You can't avoid it, you can't bargain with it, you just do it. It hurts sometimes, hell, it hurts most of the time, but it's also the most natural thing in the world. One of those rare things that makes us human.

This story is included in the Epilogues story arc, however it is a side story that can be read at just about any time. it is most favorable, however, to wait until reading Epilogues Part I for certain thematic reasons.

Okay, this is the most beautiful, the most touching story I have ever read on MNFF. I'm crying so hard right now, I can't even explain. This story, it's just so powerful and touching and it really did hurt. So many of my friends' parents have died and I knew all of them. The worst death visit I've ever experienced is when my basketball coach died of lung cancer. (DON'T EVER SMOKE PEOPLE!) I just bawled my eyes out then. He couldn't even talk to anyone, the cancer had just eaten his voice away. In a way, for some people death is a blessing. I just wish that my basketball coach had a way to say goodbye like Harry could. This story is so touching and it brought back a lot of memories that I've locked away. Thank you for this.

Author's Response: You\'re welcome. I guess, in the case of your basketball coach, though he wasn\'t able to put it into words, I\'m pretty sure you knew how he felt, and I\'m pretty sure he was glad to pass on surrounded by those who loved and supported him. I\'ve never actually experienced something like this, but I imagine at least having that opportunity to say good bye is far better than not. I don\'t know. I\'m so glad you got something out of this, thank you again.

Of Coloured Pencils and Plastic Bags by Sirenny

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: So many children had passed through her class in the small Primary School of Little Whinging, and Miss. Morrison liked to think she remembered them all. The shy ones, who hid behind their mothers legs or curled up in their fathers protective arms; the boisterous ones, who ran in small, never ending circles with boundless energy. The smart ones and the ones who struggled, sometimes bravely and sometimes with tears and tantrums. The short ones and the tall ones, the sweet and the mischievous; they were all special to her, in their own way, and they all earned themselves a special place in her memories. All of them, that is, except for one.

Very sweet. I liked how you portrayed Harry. He wasn't the loudest one in the group, he wasn't the shyest, he was Harry and I think you captured him perfectly. Other than a few grammar errors, this was a nice pleasant read.

Author's Response: Thank you for all your comments. I tried to make him as \'Harry-ish\' as possible instead of writing him more as a comparison to the other children. He didn\'t need to be the shyest, he just needed to be himself. Thanks again

Exploring one of the 'extra characters' in Harry Potter

This is a great little one-shot that I think really reflects on the Polkiss family. I had to search around for the name, but once I saw Piers, it was all good. Great job!

Author's Response: Thanks! I love exploring the characters that are barely mentioned; it allows your imagination to really take off. I\'m glad you enjoyed my version of the Polkiss family.
