you made one big mistake. no offence. in the alternate world when harry, hermione and chris are in the common room. harry and hermione aren't supposed to be friends. harry, ron and hermione became friends when ron and harry saved hermione from the troll. if voldemort never existed, he never took over quirell, who never sent the troll to Hogwarts. other than that, great story!

That is a good point that the troll scene would not have taken place and H&C may not have been friends with Hr at that time, but my story also takes place over 2 1/2 years later, at the end of PoA, so it\'s plausible that any number of events could have taken place resulting in the 3 becoming friends.
