An excellent chapter and WOW! I was giggling at the thought of Fred and George having a Library ... Hmmm ... if there are any books about Horcruxes in there, I'd bet some of them would be from Knocturn Alley. But ... Dark times around ... anyway, I wouldn't put it past the twins. HA! But I'm aware that it's your FF, Malloree. 10/10 (as always)

Author's Response: I love that just when things were about to get disgusting, the carpet is pulled out from the reader\'s feet and it all falls to pieces. One of my favorites, even if I\'m slightly prejudiced.

Author's Response: I am very sorry the wait is becoming longer and longer with each chapter, but many things are going on for me at the moment. I've found out I'm moving this summer from the one home I've ever known, and school is really getting to me. Please, do be patient with me. I am working on the next chapter of this story, making it the best it can be. I'm sure you, Dumbledore Prince, and the rest of my readers would settle for nothing less than my best. Right? So it's taking awhile. And then, I have an unbelieveable pile of homework this weekend that hasn't been touched--I will put it before my fan fiction, for nothing comes before my schoolwork.
Good things take time, so hopefully you'll find the next chapter good.

Great chapter! Oh dear - Harry, Ron and Hermione are in a vampire colony ... they're harmless, though! Scrimgeour really is a part-vampire, then ... *rolls eyes*

The plot thickens as it progresses. You've done a very good job of sticking to canon while introducing ideas of our own. "Dora" was amusing :)

Author's Response: I'm very sorry to inform you that the progress of the next chapter is at the early stages. I'm on holiday for Thanksgiving right now, and I'm not so close to any computers, as I'm with some family in the hill country of central Texas. So, in short, I will not be able to write/post the next part of "Godric's Hollow" until I get back--I can't even check my e-mail here! I'm very busy right now, for my family and I are using this vacation to set up a few things for when we move here this summer. Yes, my moving will probably mean updates being farther between. To answer your unasked question, the next chapter isn't in the queue at all. There's an entry to the Winter Snows challenge in the queue at the moment, so until the mods filter out the challenge entries, I can't post anything else. If worse comes to worse, I'll delete my challenge entry from the queue and put the next "In Nomine Amoris" chapter in its stead, and THEN re-enter the challenge entry. If you're interested in my other fan fiction, you can find them by finding "suckr4romance" on fanfiction.net. I have a Ron/Hermione there, which I'm still writing, and a couple pre-HBP fics. I also posted my Winter Snows Challenge entry on there already. Again, I'm very sorry for all the hullabaloo. Just know that I'm trying. Also, I believe I told you and the other reviewers that at least a full two weeks should be expected between each update... Maybe I haven't, but now, I'm telling you: patience is a virtue. Writing is harder than many people think. It's so difficult, because you never know when you'll find your inspiration, and most of the time it comes importunely. Thanks for reviewing. Love, Christine
When I first glanced at the chapter title, I was surprised, because "Gryfffindor Women" sounds too casual for a serious fic, and I thought, 'This chapter might be a funny one.'
I was sort of right. This is an amusing chapter , albeit in a subtle way. I don't mind the relative lack of plot development at all. Hermione's emotions are profound; they're amusing and moving at the same time. Okay, I know I'm not making much sense ...
“You’re obviously deranged, if you thought I couldn’t hear you! Emotional Hermione–whatever will we do with HER? She’s too fragile to bring on these outings, isn’t she? You should just leave her at home all day. Forget her stress and suffering, though, because we can’t bloody DEAL with that kind of drama…” Hermione continued with her ranting and raving for several more minutes, until finally held his hands out in a surrendering fashion.
I have this weird habit of chuckling whenever there's an argument betweeen Ron and Hermione, whether it's in the books, movies or fanfics. That's the reason I found this quote amusing. It also shows her emotional side, thus giving her character an impressive depth.
You've probably gotten bored of my endless praise about everyone being in-character, but I can't help myself. I rarely manage to find fics with which I'm totally and completely impressed.
I love the Ron/Hermione and Harry/Ginny parts! In the interaction between Harry and Ginny, my favourite dialogue is ...
“You’re not going to Obliviate me,” Ginny laughed slightly through her tears.
Of course not! In fact, I don't think Harry can raise his wand on her with the intention to harm her.
She smiled at him without her teeth. “I am glad to see you, you know. Finally.”
“Yes,” Harry agreed, moving in to hug her more closely, “finally.”
Nothing like a cute ending to give that content, warm and fuzzy feeling inside. Nice work!
I have some constructive criticism to give that has nothing to do with the story itself. I don't think there's any need to apologise for a short chapter in the A/N. After all, quality matters more than quantity.
